We hope anyone reading this review has notice that this is a biased review as all their comments are negative and lacks any positive points, which there are many. We offered to take care of any and all issues on the spot, which they refused. Guest stayed the entire week. Guest was focused on finding things wrong in an effort to strong arm us into a huge refund. they were overbearing and left a big mess. We are in the process of making a claim against them as a result of the mess and damage they left.

This season we have been renting the unit back to back for some time and as a result have only been able to address a few priority issues during the few hours on a change over day. We are waiting on a free day to get into the unit to shampoo the carpets. I was in the process of changing the tub stopper in the hall bath before your stay but discovered that I dint have a special tool to do so. Bothe items are on the top of our to do list.

You are mistaking on the check in time. As advertised our check in time is 4 PM and we got you into the unit very close to that time. When you arrived we were fixing the water heater. We were able to get it working for you, but did not have everything needed to make it 100% at that time. Shortly after we completed the repair and it is now working at 100%. This is the first time anyone has claimed that a bed was uncomfortable. Which bed were you referring to? It stands to reason that these beds are not the same ones your accostome to at home. Is this the real issue?

You seam very critical for someone who doesn't follow rules well. We were not previously aware of the slow drain issue in the master shower and you did not mention this issue to us or we would have corrected it immediately. One of our rules is that you tell us of any issues your find so that we may correct it for you or at least before our next guest arrive. As a result of the cleaning issues you noted in our unit we have fired the cleaning staff and replaced them. I certainly hope your low rating was not influenced by your parking problem as you were warned ahead of time that each unit has one reserved parking spot and that parking for your extra vehicle is on a first come bases. I also offered you the option of parking your extra vehicle at one of my other properties near this condo. What you referred to as construction is actually repainting of the buildings exterior. I would hope everyone can appreciate the fact that this building is well maintained. I frequent the pool restroom and have not found cleaning and maintenance to be an issue, but will pass on your comments to the board.

I know that not everyone tells the truth all the time but I do not understand why some people are compelled to be over dramatic. There was no dust an inch thick anywhere, not even on the fans, but I do believe that I could find dust some ware if I really looked. Don't get me wrong though, as we do have a staff which reacts to all issues and correct them in a timely manner. Unfortunately if we are not informed of an issue it could go unnoticed until we catch it or another person brings it to our attention. Along this same line I have no idea why they made the statement "the place needed updated badly" as we did recently perform a major update to the unit including a huge update to the kitchen. I guess that this and there statement "too many things broke and dirty" is just a continuation of the drama. Seriously, I have not had any of these complaints before or after there stay. That is with one exception: the next guests did mention that they found the coffee pot broken. We did not previously know it was broken but promptly got them a replacement! Upon receiving this review I noted that the deposit was returned weeks ago, so I assume they missed it when they checked. If the quest would have checked with me I could have verified that information or prompted VRBO to promptly return it . Our rates are very competitive when compared to other beach side properties, but is quite a bit more when compared to properties a little off from the beach. I believe this guest could have prevented buyers remorse if they had stayed inland at a much reduced rate.

As you indicated, we were quick to make things right. I was hoping that this would have gotten us all 5 stars.

Contrary to what the guest stated, I was not informed of the broken table until the next day. I was first told that the table broke when they threw a pizza on it, but after a little more probing I was informed that the husband leaned on the edge raising up the other side of the glass and that it broke when he let it flop back down. The glass is very heavy so it would have taken a lot of lot of weight to make this happen. thank god no one got heart. At the time I was out of town and had one of my guy's get over there to clean up the mess. My guy informed them that they would have to use the patio table until we got a replacement. An appropriate replacement top for this table was not available locally and was ordered, but not received until the day of there departure. During there stay I was out of town in an area that had poor to no cell coverage. When I was able to retrieve my phone messages I found that they had left a message each day checking to make sure they wouldn't be charged for the broken table top. I really didn't have the hart to tell them during there vacation that they were being held responsible. I did let them know that I was turning the damage into the insurance. I haven't had a good experience collecting on claims turned into the insurance company offered to the guests through VRBO, so I am having to holding on to there damage deposit at least in the interim. A couple days after I filed the claim on the deposit the guest wrote this review. Considering that the replacement top is costing me $1900. However, there is room for a refund if the insurance company comes through and I want these guests back. I was not aware of any issues with the patio table cushions prior to reading this review. Previous guests and this guest did not mention this issue prior to the review. My maids are trained to notify me of any and all issues, and this issue never came up. This would lead me to believe that the issue occurred during this guests stay. I have since replaced all the cushions.
