The property was clean and looked like it had been recently remodeled with nice countertops and a sleek television mount. The deck and porch were upgraded with nice trex composite that made traversing sandy and wet stairs easier. All rooms were equipped with a Roku. The beds were comfortable and there were extra blankets. Check in was easy and the owner kept in communication with us and provided their number for emergencies.

Family reunion

Beautiful location for family reunion. The weather was great, the beach was gorgeous and the house was clean and comfortable. We all voted to come here again.

Wonderful family vacation

We had an amazing week! The house was spotless and beautiful. Loved the beach decor. Location was perfect and very close to everything. Beautiful views from the house. Owners were wonderful to work with. Thanks for a great vacation.

Wonderful Place

Sea Maiden East is impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. The view is amazing, and the location is quiet but close to restaurants and the grocery store. We celebrated our anniversary there and had an amazing time.

Beautiful Property

This was our second visit to this home. We love the location, the beach house is nicely updated, and we had everything we needed during our stay. The owners are always easy to work with and quick to answer any questions. We will definitely be returning!

Amazing location with breathtaking views

This house far exceeded our expectations. The location was the best on the island. The cleanliness was next level. I brought a ton of cleaning supplies but didn’t have to use any prior to settling in. The bike path made it easy to get anywhere you wanted to go. We loved biking to the point for the sunset and shelling. Thank you for having us!

Fantastic stay at Sea Maiden East!

Our family loved staying at the Sea Maiden East! The house is beautiful, the location is breathtaking - wake up and see the waves crashing. My toddler girls adored collecting shells and watching the sunset from the deck. Highly recommend this property!

Beautiful Oceanfront Rental

We loved this rental and hope to return. Great location in Emerald Isle with amazing oceanfront views. Nicely decorated. The bathrooms and kitchen were all recently remodeled and were spotless. We enjoyed playing on the beach, riding bikes on the path and walking to the nearby playground and nature trail. Very family friendly.

Great house for a wonderful vacation.

Property was clean and exactly as described by the web page. Owner contacted me to make sure everything was fine and that was a very nice gesture. All of my friends loved the house and the view and beach front access. My friends and myself would stay here again. I highly recommend.

Five Star Property & Owners

We have been coming to Emerald Isle for ten years, and this is by far the nicest property we have ever rented. Everything is well maintained, recently updated, and most importantly, clean. I didn't cringe as my one year old played on the floor, and I'm very particular. The owners were so easy to contact and work with, answering all of our questions and helping to make our vacation go as smoothly as possible. Our family of six greatly enjoyed our stay here in E.I., and we hope to rent it again next summer.

Highly Recommend Sea Maiden

My family has been going to the Outer Banks for over 30 years. Sea Maiden is one of the nicest houses we’ve ever stayed in. The location is fantastic with an amazing view of the ocean. We loved watching dolphins from the deck and it couldn’t be easier to get to the beach. The décor in all rooms is beautiful. The kitchen is extremely well appointed – no need to bring special pans or knives from home. All the bedrooms and bathrooms, including the outdoor shower, are all extremely nice. We loved it that no one had to take a ‘bad’ bedroom. Although we did not travel with kids this time, the house is well suited for families with small children. Sea Maiden is close to shopping and restaurants if you do want to go out. Thanks for being so accommodating and for sharing your fantastic home with our family.

Fantastic!

One of the nicest homes we have ever rented at the beach! The owners were very responsive when we discovered the coffee pot didn't work.. We had a new pot in a few hours! Clean, bright cheerful decor.. And just a few steps to having the sand between your toes!

Beautiful, Clean, Oceanfront Duplex - Perfect Beach Vacation!

Our family really enjoyed a week at this home. The views were amazing and was just a quick walk down the private steps to the beach. Very convenient with little kids to be right on the beach. The large kitchen table was great for family dinners. We could all sit together! Working with the owners was very easy. They were helpful every step of the way. We would definitely recommend renting here, and we will consider this if our travels take us back to Emerald Isle!

Beautiful Beach House on a Beautiful Stretch of Beach

This house was perfect for three families. It was clean, spacious, and very comfortable beds, which is typically rare in rentals. The living room and kitchen area were open and great for entertaining, especially with the fully stocked kitchen. The back deck was perfect to have a margarita and enjoy the ocean. Just a few steps off the deck was the beach, which was not crowded at all. There are shops, grocery, and a great restaurant, CaribSea, within a mile or two. I highly recommend this rental, not only for the house, but the owners were very professional, and responsive. We hope to make this a regular vacation spot each year. We do apologize for not putting the trash out on the correct day - we were visiting beaufort that day and it slipped our mind.

Beautiful Ocean Front Duplex

My family and I spent two weeks at Sea Maiden East this fall. Everyone really enjoyed the up to date furnishings and decorations. There is adequate perking for about four cars although it can be difficult to get larger cars under the house and you will need to move cars to let others out at times. The bedrooms were all nicely furnished and included ceiling fans. If you have older family members please be aware there are fair amount of steps, both inside and out and there is only one bedroom on the first floor. The bathrooms are all newly updated and extremely nice. The kitchen is nicely sized and includes most everything you could want for beach cooking. The beach is very nice in this area of the island and is just a short distance from the ocean deck. The owners were very easy to work with and responded to all of our questions and made the process go very smoothly. I highly recommend this beach home for your vacation!

A WARM, HOMEY PLACE CERTAIN TO MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS!

So very glad we decided on this home for our mid-Spring family gathering. We found it clean, bright, well-appointed, and close proximity to meet our needs. It was interesting watching the sub-tropical storm roll in and out from the upper deck and mid-deck. The kitchen has just about everything you'd need to prepare a decent meal at the beach. Really liked the immediate access to the beach; adequate parking for 4 cars; good directives on the refrigerator regarding trash pick-up and the like. With 5 good sized bedrooms, there was always a place to retreat to for quiet reading or computer work. And no waiting or fighting over the showers with all of the bathrooms. With the front and deck doors open, there was little or no need for any fans to be one--wonderful cross breezes. Atlantic Beach and Beaufort are up the road a piece and made for a great day trip to Shackleford Island for the most outstanding shells! We regretfully returned to our homes in KY, NY and just up the road in New Bern, at the end of a well-relaxed, enjoyable week. The owners were great to work with and we truly appreciate them sharing their home with us. We are already making plans for next Spring. We would totally recommend this home. Thank you!

Total Relaxation!!!

This is such a great place to stay! It is conveniently located to groceries, gas, and activities for childrent/adults. I used it for a family vacation including my parents and my sister/husband. All of us rested well in the comfortable surroundings and enjoyed being lulled to sleep every night with the surf. The house is well insulated from sounds and the access to the beach is superb! Thanks for a wonderful restful vacation!

Great Place

We stayed for a partial this spring and had a great time. The house is in great condition, was clean and well stocked. I love the decorating and the master bedroom is very roomy and bright with great views to the beach and a nice balcony. Great location overall with easy beach access. Owners were wonderful and easy to work with and we received our deposit check back in a timely manner. Would recommend this property!
