Esta hermosa casa de estilo rural con sus 1768 pies cuadrados de espacio habitable y vistas increíbles del lago Loon. Tiene 4 habitaciones muy espaciosas y una pequeña sala lateral adicional con 2 cunas de tamaño doble, un comedor formal, dos baños completos, cocina, sala de estar con chimenea de leña, terraza trasera con parrilla de gas y mesa de picnic junto con un extra espacio separado de la casa, un área de picnic cerrada o sala de estar. No olvide que tenemos un muelle privado, así que traiga su bote o alquile en el puerto deportivo local. Tienes acceso completo al lago para pescar o nadar. Se admiten mascotas con una tarifa por noche por mascota. Playa privada al lado, Loon Lake Marina está a la derecha de la propiedad, fácil de lanzar en bote. The check-in was very easy and the house was just as described. Everything was provided for firewood, etc. the kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and anything you would need having a washer and dryer in the house was also wonderful. The beach in the dark were especially wonderful. We rented a boat and had a great time.

Family get together

We had a great stay at the house on Loon Lake.The house and property were spacious and comfortable for our large group. All bedrooms were good sized and the AC units were appreciated on a couple of hot nights.The kitchen is ample-sized for cooking big meals.The kayaks, row boat and SUPs were great to have on site as well as the private beach area.Our son caught a 12” large mouth bass right off the dock!My other son and I are disc golf players, so we were thrilled to have a small three hole disc golf course right on the property.Plenty of outdoor seating with a deck off the dining room, separate patio and separate three season room in the back yard.Even got some S’mores in at the lakeside fire pit, as well as soft serve ice cream just across the street after a hike up nearby Panther Mtn.Already thinking about doing it again next year!

Great lake house for a family getaway

We really enjoyed our stay here. The lake was warm and had a sandy entry which the kids enjoyed. You could paddle board or kayak to the public beach which was also fun. The house was comfortable with ample room for everyone and AC in all the bedrooms. I do think it’s important to note that the house is on a road with a high speed limit and some traffic which I didn’t realize from the pictures. It was fine for us but might be hard with small children. We had a great time and would definitely recommend to friends!

Private beach front oasis

We just returned from a fantastic week at this incredible beach rental, and we couldn't be happier with our experience! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this property was a hidden gem. The highlight of our stay was definitely the private beach. Having our own stretch of sand to relax on was a dream come true. We spent countless hours lounging by the water, soaking up the sun, and enjoying the stunning views. The dock was perfect for launching the rowboat, which we thoroughly enjoyed exploring the lake with. It was such a unique experience to paddle out and soak in the tranquility of the surroundings. The three-season house, separate from the main house, was beautifully designed. Each room was spacious and elegantly decorated, providing a perfect blend of comfort and style. The layout was ideal for our group, allowing everyone to have their own space while still feeling connected. The weather was absolutely perfect for our stay, which made our time outdoors even more enjoyable. We were treated to beautiful sunsets over the lake, and the evenings by the fire pit on our private beach were truly magical. There’s something special about roasting marshmallows and sharing stories under the stars.

Second stay - just as good as the first

This was our second stay here at this lovely, well-equipped home. The location on the lake is just beautiful. We even spotted a loon this time. During our stay a severe storm moved through which knocked out the electricity for two days. Thankfully a generator at the house provided our basic needs and Kellie was highly responsive when we required more assistance. Despite the inconvenience our family had a wonderful time. We hope to return again one day.

Relaxing family vacation

We had a very relaxing family vacation on Loon Lake. The house had everything we needed and was comfortable for us all. We enjoyed the beach, the kayaks and the paddle boards. Our daughter used the three season room as HQ for her internship and college class. The deli across the street and Main Street Ice Cream Parlor both had great sandwiches and ice cream!

Beautiful

The house is just perfect for the lake getaway we were hoping for. The extra little house out back with the bar and sofas was an amazing added bonus. Beautiful yard and lake. The only issue I would address is the cookware, very used and hard to cook with. Other than that A+, would return.

Making Memories

Once on the deck, the view to the Lake was wonderful. The provisions near the water were well used and enjoyed. The living space and sleeping accommodations worked out well. Proximity to other events was helpful. The "wildlife" was very entertaining, and the fishing was successful.

Amazing House and Spot

Everything was amazing ! We never wanted to leave. We talked about renting again before we even left lol. Kellie was such a caring, accommodating host! Very responsive and didn’t have an issue with anything while there. AC units in each room work very well. I was nervous about that especially due to the heat wave we were having. But it was very comfortable.

Great weekend away at Loon Lake

This property was outstanding. Absolutely gorgeous, on the lake, with tons of privacy to relax and enjoy the water. Huge yard for all outdoors activities plus provided watercraft just add to the experience. 10/10 recommend

Great winter destination for families

We really enjoyed our family stay at this house. It was clean, nicely decorated and had everything we needed. As others mentioned, we also noticed some dead flies. Our kids loved the big backyard and access to the lake. The house was conveniently located to Gore Mountain where we skied. But the whole area has so much to offer. The town of Chester is cute and we loved Main Street Ice Cream Parlor for breakfast and lunch. Dynamite Hill is a big sledding hill and has a beginner’s skiing hill with a rope tow lift. Kellie is very responsive and was a great host. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to other families!

Thanksgiving getaway

Nicely updated old farmhouse. It shows that the owner takes pride in the appearance of the home. It was clean and nicely decorated. It was nice that the kitchen and dining room were located separate from the bedrooms, allowing others to sleep in. Bolton's Landing and Lake George Village were within a 15-30 minute drive.

We love this house

We've stayed here several times and it never fails to impress us. We rent a boat for the week from Loon Lake Marina and just have a blast. The house is on the lake with a private dock next to your private beach. The house easily accommodates our 6 adults and 2 kids. The motel on the adjoining property serves as additional bedrooms with their own baths for extra guests staying only a few days. Close to whatever you'll need at the lake for a week or two. The house is very well maintained and always very clean when we arrive. Communication with Kellie the host is second to none. She's on her game. We've already booked the next couple of years and we cannot wait to return. Did I mention the huge, detached, three season room or the expansive lakefront yard?

Lake front gem

We spent a wonderful week at this lovely lake house that is obviously well-loved by its owner. We found it to be clean, roomy, and stocked with all of the conveniences we needed. You simply cannot beat the lake front location and private beach. We had vacationed nearby years ago, and it was so nice to be back to this beautiful area in the North Country. Thank you for being an excellent host, Kellie. We hope to return to your home in the future!

Family Time

What an amazing vacation home for our family to enjoy our return to the Adirondack mountains! We loved the beautiful lakeside location and so many activities together. It was also the perfect reunion spot for easy access to a wedding event in Bolton Landing, our day trip to Lake Placid & many hiking trails nearby. We loved the quick walk across the street for soft serve ice cream & great deli. This home had plenty of space for our entire group (parents, 4 adult sons, DIL, grand baby, and a few days with extra friends). We could spread out when looking for privacy or enjoy gathering together the back deck, stone patio, and wonderful 3 season screen room too! Kellie was so easy to work with & made sure our stay was perfect! All the amenities she provided were so appreciated- a complete kitchen, extra towels, games for inside and out (even frisbee golf on the expansive lawn) and the kayaks & paddle boards for exploring Loon Lake. We cannot wait to return! Thanks Kellie!

Flies Everywhere, Alive and Dead, Middle of Winter

The house is a beautiful old farmhouse as described in the listing. It is conveniently located less than 20 minutes to Gore Mountain on the main road (trucks throughout the night) and was lakefront with beautiful views of the lake and the Motel next door. We were there for a ski trip so this was important for us. We were emailed entry info prior to our arrival, I originally couldn't find it so I contacted the owner and they sent it again right away. Thank You! Upon entering, there was an odor in the house which we quickly learned must have been from some type of fumigation. As the kids went exploring, the yelling started about the flies everywhere in the house. Both alive and dead. Every single room in the house had flies in it, upstairs and downstairs. The upstairs windows were also left open which really told us some type of extermination was attempted (middle of winter in the Adirondacks) prior to our arrival. We contacted the owners and they said that they would have someone come the following day to clean up the flies. Not very apologetic about the situation. Gave an excuse about some warm weather the prior week. Did not mention the possibility of dead animals in the walls or whatever. So, someone did come the following day and swept up the flies. Unfortunately, they just kept coming for the next 2 days. GROSS! Further exploration showed some electrical issues with lights not being able to be turned on in the lower bathroom and the electric space heater for the unheated lower bathroom tripping the circuit. The lights were fixed the following day as well, the heater was useless as it still didn't work. Firewood for the fireplace was provided by the owner. Some kindling or fire starters would have been helpful. But the fireplace was very efficient at heating the family room once lit. The kitchen was well stocked for a short term rental. Nice assortment of pots/pans/utensils, etc... Kitchen was nicely updated in general as pictures showed in the listing. Would anyone in our party stay here again, unfortunately not. Despite the great location and being a lovely house, we were too grossed out to want to book it in the future. Not to mention the lack of empathy from the homeowner for the situation. They didn't even follow up with us to see if the problem had been resolved or respond to my txt message stating the the fly issue had persisted. Nothing like flies buzzing around your head all night for a peaceful sleep.

A Fall Getaway

Nice Long Weekend

We had a nice family weekend at the house. We were able to take the boat on the lake and play some board games. Not too far from lake George. Overall a very good trip. We thought a couple of mattresses could do with being replaced but it didn't spoil the trip.

Great property!

We really enjoyed our stay! We had 6 adults plus our Labrador for the week with 2 additional adults for 2 days/1 night. There was plenty of room for all of us. It can be difficult finding dog-friendly places so we really appreciate that we were able to bring him! Kitchen was very well equipped. We found the beds to be comfortable. House was very clean, with 1 exception - I happened to drop something in one of the bedrooms and noticed there was quite a bit of dust under the bed - but everything else was very clean. Great outdoor space with campfire, kayaks, paddleboards. & dock. Especially loved the outdoor stone patio area!! We also enjoyed being able to walk across the street for ice cream at the Loon Lake Market! Kellie was very responsive to any questions/issues and easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend this rental.

We have always dreamed of owning lake front property and the Adirondacks are beautiful all year long. The summer brings water sports, fishing, boating, swimming and barbecue fun. During the fall it is a perfect location for hiking all types of mountains, including the High Peaks. Just minutes from Gore Mountain makes it the perfect spot for downhill skiing and snow shoeing. This location is also popular with hunters and snowmobilers alike. Who could ask for anything more!!
