Comfortable

Location is a mile from the nearest beach. We walked to the beach because you have to pay to park otherwise. Comfortable beds and furnishings. Nice paved walking path all the way to the beach and to the Publix Store which is 1/2 mile away.Half bath has a water pressure issue and the stove is dated but functions.We really missed having outdoor seating area (thought we wouldn't but did). The building is on a canal but our unit had no access.

This vrbo was perfect for our stay in Marathon, FL. Location was perfect and the apartment was super clean. Very much enjoyed our stay and highly recommend!

Great location

The rental was as advertised and location made an easy walk both to Sombero Beach and grocery stores. We felt very safe getting our walks in.

We enjoyed our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. A few things I disliked was there is no outdoor seating. I wish I would of read some of the other reviews. Also there were only 2 bath towels for 4 people. Other then those two things, the property is exactly what’s listed.

Perfect for us

Went to visit my father with my children and we were walking distance from him and the ocean. The home was beautiful and relaxing. We were able to buy food and prepare at home for my picky eater. Because they are children it was ideal to have washer and dryer and all the comforts of home.

Perfect spot

This property is in the perfect location. Walk one block to all you wish to enjoy in town yet the house is quiet. You don’t hear the sounds of town. House is adorable and has all the kitchen items you need. Fire pit, fireplace cozy living room. Highly recommend.

Nice condo, nice location

Enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable condo with pretty much everything you'd need for a stay. Nice comfortable sofas, which most places don't seem to have, and a really nice king size bed. Location was very convenient, close to beach and Publix. About the only thing that we didn't like was the lack of outdoor space. Other than that it was perfect and we'd stay again.

Great stay in Marathon

We had such a great time in Marathon. The apartment was sparkling clean and very comfortable. We loved sitting in the back room with all the beautiful natural light. Only wish that the outside area was shared between all units as there was real outside area for us to sit and enjoy the beautiful weather. Close to Publix and Winn Dixie and Key West was just a bit more than an hour drive away. We would also recommend Florida Keys Steak and Lobster House right there in Marathon . Make a reservation because they are busy

Great location and helpful host!

We had a great week in Marathon at this property. Jenine was an excellent host. Below is the review written by my mother-in-law about the experience: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo. The queen bed was very comfortable for us grandparents. I was overwhelmed with the kindness shown to me by the property owner, Jenine. I forgot my musical instrument, a dulcimer, in the bedroom closet! Jenine not only traveled to Marathon Key to retrieve it, but also took it to the UPS store to have it wrapped and sent to my home in Tennessee! The condo was great for us, our son and daughter-in-law, and our 2 year old granddaughter! It is very convenient to restaurants, groceries, gas, and Sombrero Beach!

A solid place in a quiet neighborhood

The owner was very helpful and responded to questions very quickly. The rooms were set up nicely. Overall the place was clean and tidy. The neighborhood was very quiet and was only a few blocks down from sombrero beach and just down the road from the publix. Only complaints where that hardly any of the light switches worked and there was a slight problem with ants but this was right after the hurricane so that was probably a isolated incident do to that event. The kitchen could have been a little cleaner upon arrival but other overall I enjoyed my stay here and enjoyed the use of the hot tub and patio that they were kind enough to let us use even though we were on the second floor.

Met our expectations and more

You know how you see a listing, pictures and even the reviews and think this is great but still expect a little less, because nothing is as good as it seems? This is not the case here. When I walked in I was stunned with how beautiful the place is. The pictures do not do it justice. Large, clean, and has pretty much everything you need. If you are picky you will find something I'm sure, but you seriously have to be picky! And Jenine was fabulous from the get go. She called me to let me know there was a problem that was brought to her attention from another renter and she was sending someone over to take care of before it became something for us. The beach is a two mintue drive with plenty of FREE parking. You can walk but it's farther than we wanted to especially with the amount of stuff we were hauling for the day. Minutes from the 7 mile bridge, awesome restaurants, an hour from Key West. The locals were kind and helpful both in Marathon and Key West. We had four adults. Two teenagers celebrating high school graduation and two adults in our mid 40s. We were looking for a very chill and beautiful vacation and we found it and the location is perfect but I cannot speak for those with families or anyone looking for a little more nightlife. If we ever make it back to the Keys we will be going staright back to this rental and Jenine for sure! Enjoy!

Family vacation

The apartment is in a great central location to the other keys. It was clean and had everything we needed. The apartment is also just a short distance from Sombrero Beach and other beaches. There isn’t much to do at the rental, but it had everything we needed and was great to come back and relax after spending a day out. The only minor thing was checkout was supposed to be at 10:00 and when we were packing the door shut and locked at 9:20 not allowing us back in. We were quite sure we had everything so we didn’t bother the owner. She was very easy to contact though and responded quickly. Thank you.

Affordable and Convenient

This property was lovely. We really enjoyed our stay. It is close to Sombrero Beach and Publix. There is a nice paved walkway right outside the door that will take you all the way to the beach. Be aware that this is a top level unit with several stairs to get to the front door.

Great Stay

The location was perfect, easy to get to food shopping and well within walking distance to Sombero Beach. Accommodations definitely gave you a beachy feel and I would consider coming back again.

Nice place for vacation

Nice place to come back to after long days of exploring. Everything we needed was there. So glad you had beach chairs! Owner was quick to solve the one little problem that we did have so we were good!

Great vacation!

Everything you needed was there….cookware, utensils; towels, beach towels, and starters to give you a chance to get to the store. The apartment felt like being home. Location was great for the beach and shopping. Janine was very responsive to all inquiries. I’d rent from Janine again

Great Apartment...Perfect location

Prime location close to beach, shopping and restaurants. Very quiet area. 1 hr from Key West which was a bonus! 10/10. Would definitely recommend 👌

Just down the road from one of the best beaches in the keys. Easy access to the high way. The rooms were nice and clean. Overall wonderful stay.

April getaway

Overall we had a very nice stay. The apartment was clean with the exception of a few things. Nice layout, didn't need to buy much. Kitchen was good. You can't beat Sombrero beach!! Shopping was very convenient with the Publix so close buy. The other renters , who were snowbirds, gave us great ideas for dinning around the Keys. The cleaning crew could do a little better job. When I opened the drawer, under the stove, to access pots and pans, there was quite a bit of leftover crumbs from previous renters. That was a turnoff. The ants or what ever the tiny bugs were that was crawling all over the floor and dinning room table...could have done without. Under the master bed, I found a string of beads. Cleaners didn't quite get those or the bits of debris from previous renters. We had plenty of towels with the exception of only three wash/face cloths. Could have used a few more of those. We would stay again without a problem.
