Family vacation

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed here for a week and chose this place due to location and a place to park our rental car. With that being said, location in Waikiki was great, parking was convenient. The overall condo needs a lot of updating. Pictures must of been taken years ago. The outdoor lanai looks nothing like the photos. All outdoor furniture has been well loved and cornhole doesn’t exist. Linens are all older, but with a quick trip to Walmart I bought our family towels, beach towels and it solved our problem with this. The 4 beach chairs were great to have to take to the beach. My advise would be to update this condo and you would have this place booked non stop.

Online it looks wonderful, in person totally different floors caving in patch up work doors don't close .On arrival the door needed a frame and wouldn't shut .After a stressful wait to find a solution we were moved but lost hours in our day

Pleasantly surprised there was a bidet which I did not know about. Excellent extra outside space attached to this unit. Only slight downside was the hide a bed was very loud and creaky. The outside common area is quite dated but the pool was good for the kids.

It was clean, had all that we needed and it is very close to everything. We had to contact the owner over a minor detail and found him to be responsive and very helpful. Convenient

Good location, close to beach and easy parking. Playground and pool was nice for our 2 year old. The place is a bit more run down than we had expected and it wasn’t as clean as I would’ve liked (random sticky spots on floor). The property manager was great though and willing to have someone come out to clean again immediately. We opted out of it since we wanted to just get on with our trip

Great condo

The condo was exactly as described and very clean upon arrival. Only a 3 minute walk at most to Waikiki beach. It had all the necessities needed to cook and worked well for our family of 4. The mattresses on the 2 queen beds are quite firm, not our favourite but they were ok. The kids didn’t complain about the pull out bed but you can’t expect too much with a mattress on those. It was great having a washer and dryer in the condo, especially with washing beach towels every other day. There was no sand bags for the corn hole game they have on the patio. We were hoping there was going to be some boogie boards as previous rentals had in the past, there was 1 small one sized for a young kid, so we purchased 2 and left them at the condo, hopefully they remain there for future guests to use. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Condo!

This condo was perfect for our family of 4. The place was very clean and exactly as pictured. All the necessities are there for cooking and laundry. We only slept on the beds (didn’t need sofa bed) and they were comfortable. The outdoor space was so cool to view both the ocean and the mountains! Check in was so smooth. A nice long text was sent with very detailed instructions on how to park, how to get to and into the room. And a text on check out day with timing and items to leave behind. This location is also blocks from Waikiki beach and the downtown walking area, it was so easy to get around both by car and on foot.

Ok, but not again

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Waikiki Banyan is in a good location. Two blocks from the beach. That is the best thing I can say about the rental. The first sign was cigarette butts which were screwn on the overesize lanai. The second sign was that as you walked towards the kitchen sink the smell of discarded cigarette ash became overpowering - this was obviously a smoking room and the description of the room did not mention this. There needs to be a door between the main bedroom and sole bathroom - there was not and this causes privacy issues THe bar holding the shower curtain kept collapsing and the towel bar inside the bathroom was poorly affixed and it also kept collapsing. There was a fantastic bidet but alas no instructions on how to use it. The noise in the hallway outside the room was sometimes very and annoying loud. Lastly, the parking spaces in the Banyan are very narrow - the last night we were there someone who had parked next to us had scraped the side of our rental causing paint and body damage leaving no note Getting into the parking lot often involved long lines and waits - the Banyan's parking lot doubles as a public lot causing delays, long wait, unafe lines extending out into the street. However, unlike other hotels and rentals in the area parking comes with the unit with no extra charges (the auto damange made up for that "fee free" parking). We would not stay here again and we caution those thinking of doing so to think twice before doing so.

Great Condo and Location

I cannot give this stay a great review because we did have a an issue that was never resolved. Although the contract says that you can notify the rental property management or host at anytime I found this not to be the case. The condo itself was PERFECT! Management was NOT! I was there to celebrate my birthday with my best friend and my niece. The property is very vulnerable as I never saw any security. Everyone and anyone has access to the complex which meant that we had a few unwanted visitors. People knocking on our door all hours of the day and night. One person tried to to get into our condo, claimed that the management property requested him to come and look inside our condo, we refused and told him to leave, which he did. However this being said when I reached out to my host a couple times, Byron I never received a call back . I tried to call the emergency number and again never heard from them. Therefore I cannot recommend this property management especially if you are planning a trip with just females'.

Unbeatable distance to the beach. Bathroom had a weird smell I won’t be missing, maybe mold where the mounding between the tub and floor are. Otherwise, I’d recommend this place.

Nice unit

Loved having the outdoor deck all to ourselves and the washer and dryer was a major plus!!! Beds and pull out were uncomfortable that would be my only complaint but other than that we had an amazing family vacation! Would stay here again!!! Byron was very fast at communicating!!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Maintenance, furniture quality and amenities were average. Because the room was on the 6th floor and there was a pool, I heard voices until night and the sound of children running in the corridor. I don't think it's suitable for people who want to spend quietly.
