Amazing vacacion

Second time staying here, 100% Recomend. For families that own boats. Beach is very close also very near of a variety of places. Looking forward to stay here again soon.

Beautiful beach house

This house absolutely blew me away. The photos are a bit dated as I was a little worried it would all be dated but it was amazing. Our family of 12 absolutely enjoyed every aspect. The guys loved fishing off the deck. There is so much room to really enjoy family time. The only thing I didn't like was the king size bed was SO HARD! But that would be the only thing I would change about our whole trip. Check in and out was so easy. I really loved not having to keep up with keys all vacation. Cannot wait to book again next year.

Great location!!

House is in a great location. Close to plenty if stores, restaurants and fun activities for all! Short walk to the beach. The guys and kids loved being able to fish from the pier. We stayed the week of 4th if July and could see fireworks all around us and we also got to see an air show all from the upper deck area. The house needs some TLC most of the handles for the sliding doors were broken and had trouble getting them to lock when we would leave other than that we had no complaints. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful and would stay here again!!

Great cozy get away

This is a great stay for large families. We were able to have all of our daughters and granddaughters and significant others with us for our family 4th of july vacation. Location is great for restaurants, shopping, and more. Beach access is at a very easy walkable distance, and our boat was docked right at the back porch. Not a lot of boat traffic being it is at the end of the canal. Everything we needed was accessible and the owner is easy to get ahold of and resolved any issues right away for us. Boat ramp is not far away, if you stay here around the 4th of july you will want to reserve a boat trailer storage ahead of time as they fill up fast. We could watch the destin fireworks right from the house.

Well worth it!!

We had the best time. The house was big enough for our huge family, the outside back porch area was perfect for the little to play. Did some fishing off the back deck, caught some small Reds. The house overall was great, beds were clean, bathrooms were big enough. The outside shower was perfect for when we got home from the beach to rinse off before entering the house. The owners were very well with communication, they recommended the water taxi, was well worth it too. If you have a huge family this is a well deserved stay in this house. Will definitely be back again in the future.

BEWARE! UNLESS YOU LIKE COCKROACHES

First 5 minutes of being at this property, we had found 5 dead cockroaches in the kitchen floor. This house needs so much TLC it’s not even funny. Within the 5 day stay, we counted up to atleast 50 of these bugs, dead & alive. (Pictures to prove it) The listing states 5 bedrooms, that’s incorrect. Only 4 actual bedrooms in this house. The property owners think the living room is another “bedroom”. The stairs that connect these floors are not located inside the house, which would of been nice to know as well, this wasn’t in the listing either. All of the sliding door handles are broken, upstairs and down. Good luck keeping your stuff safely locked when you leave!!!! Kitchen fridge handles are missing. Kitchen cabinets are missing knobs. I’ve traveled to Destin for the last 10 years on vacation and I sure as heck won’t be back to this property. By the sound of it from the owners, sounded like no one had been to the property within the last 2 weeks. Including maids!!!! Future renters, beware!!!!

Great spot for fishing and crab island. Bring your boat!

Had a great time. House was perfect for our needs. Maybe not the fanciest appointments, but who cares, you’re not visiting Destin to stay inside! Great deck area, 2 independent living spaces with kitchens. Dock space was more than ample for my little 21’ whaler. I’d come stay here again without question.

Great trip !

Property was very clean and owner was very helpful. Fishing off the dock was great also. (2) black drum over 30lbs ea. Lots of catfish. A++ . WILL BE MAKING FUTURE RESERVATIONS AT THIS HOUSE.

Fits the need well.

Just what we needed. We love the beach and this was very convenient to a nice accessible strip of beautiful white sands! We didn’t spend much time indoors but it was a “quaint and cozy” setting. Would stay here again. Love our Destin getaways!

I visit Destin a lot and have stayed many places. This rental is my favorite! It is the best of both worlds. A very short walk to an uncrowded beach and a deep water boat dock if you bring your boat for tons of fun on the harbor and crab island. If you don't own a boat, there is a boat taxi that will pick you up right on your dock and take you anywhere on the harbor for just $5.00. The house itself is very roomy, stocked with all needed household items, comfortable beds, and upper and lower decks with great views of beautiful sunsets. The owner is super nice and helpful. I will definitely stay here again!

Perfect place to stay on our recent girls trip!

We had a wonderful time! This house is the perfect place for a much needed Moms Spring Break! In fact this was our second time at this house, it’s so inviting. We love the very close walk to the beautiful beach. The deck is our favorite spot for dinner while enjoying the sunsets or a late night reminiscing over a glass of wine. We had such a good time..Planning to return next year!!

Well kept with so much to do!

We had an amazing time. Our young kids played in the ‘sand box’ behind the house while we fished and kayak’d from the dock. It was even easy to keep an eye on them while making lunch in the downstairs kitchen. When the wind was better we could eat from the sun deck and walk to the emerald beach in just a few minutes! The water taxi was able to pick up right from the house to take us to the docks and back. Really wonderful property for two families or families with young kids!!

Great house for a group and really close to a private beach. Perfect for our stay.

We had a great time....there was a dock for the kids to fish off of and two separate decks to relax on. The rooms we comfortable and two separate kitchens made it easy to accommodate everyone. The beach is approximately 2 blocks away and very easy to walk to. The neighborhood was great for a morning run and the private beach was never crowded.

Great vacation spot

This was the absolute best choice for our family vacation. The house was spotless, the location was excellent and the views were amazing. Walking distance to the beach the boat slip was also a plus as we rented a boat and we were able to put it in the slip when we went to the house. The house suited us well with plenty of space. Over all I highly recommend this house and we will definitely be back next year !

If you want a short walk to the beach AND a boat slip this is one of the few properties to satisfy both those needs.

Take a water Taxi from the house to the Destin Boardwalk and enjoy the restaurants and nightlife. Or have a private fishing guide pick you up on the water at the house.
