Encantadora casa de campo ubicada justo en la playa con acceso directo al cruce de la playa e infinitas vistas impresionantes de la bahía. Amplio plano de planta abierto con mucho sol y espacio para relajarse. Características completamente proyectado en el porche con cubiertas abiertas en la parte delantera y trasera de la cabaña. Ubicación conveniente para cualquier persona que ama la playa o simplemente quiere relajarse escuchando las olas. Un montón de estacionamiento fuera de la calle.

Easy communication and check in/check out. Great location and house was lovely. We really enjoyed our stay. Only one minor complaint was the bugs come in through the deck boards on the screened deck but they do provide citronella candles which helps. Thank you for sharing your house with us Lawsons!

Love this property and location

Amid all the over building and extravagance taking over Broadkill, this house stands by its origins. With enough updating to be super comfortable. Thank you , Lawsons!

Beach side getaway

Visited for spring break. Lovely, practical, property, just as advertised. Kitchen was very well stocked with all equipment needed for cooking and baking. Plenty of games and books. Hammock was an unexpected addition. Perfect for a family getaway with older kids (ages 8-15). Direct access to the beach. Spent hours walking and playing on the beach. WouldLove to visit again.

Location, location location

Wonderful unpretentious beach cottage on the bay, nice calm water unlike the ocean, our dog loved every minute of it. Nice and intimate size, not too big, and super comfortable.. Very clean and fresh- smelling,, no must idyrs

Awesome stay

Great cottage…. Beautiful sunrises and great walks on the beach… We did have issues with gnats in the house, but other than that had a great time . The dogs had a great time as well. Thank you so much!

A gem of a beach house!

We were so delighted with our stay in this sweet little beach cottage. We stayed with our three adult children and their spouses and one small dog. There was plenty of room for all of us. The location was perfect! Right on a lovely quiet bay beach. But a short drive away from the ocean beaches for a play in the waves. It was a nice walk up to the adorable Broadkill Store, which we frequented for their delicious ice cream! We very much enjoyed the large screened in deck which easily accomodated all 8 of us for dinners and games in the evenings. We also enjoyed a few short day trips to the Futuro House and the Deleware Botanical Gardens. We did not need to contact the owners during our stay, but I would love to meet them sometime. All in all it was the perfect summer getaway. I would highly recommend this beach house for a delightful summer vacation.

Wonderful Broadkill home!

We had a wonderful time in Broadkill this year. The home was perfect for our family! It was extremely clean. The outdoor shower and multiple hoses around the property are perfect for getting cleaned off after a day at the beach. Todd was very responsive to our questions prior to and during our stay. We hope to be back again!

Lovely Respite at Broadkill Beach

Our two couples and a lab enjoyed a beautiful Spring weekend beachside. The kitchen was surprisingly well equipped, the owner Todd quite accommodating. We saw dolphins and enjoyed exquisite sunsets from the deck. We saw few people on the beach and enjoyed long walks. We enjoyed ourselves immensely!

Happy Place

We spent a long weekend at the Lawsons' lovingly maintained beachfront cottage. Everything was clean, comfortable, and in very good working order. The new bathroom and new decking made the place feel sold cared for. I loved the enclosed porch with a giant table overlooking the beach, and of course loved having the dog-friendly beach just a few steps away. There were only two of us (plus T-Bone!), but I could see the cottage being a nice space for 4-5 guests. Todd the owner was friendly and responsive. Would totally rent again!

Quiet comfy beachhouse on Delaware Bay

Wonderful, well-appointed older beachhouse with delightful screened deck & expansive bay views. Great communication and quick response from owners. We hope to return in coming years.

Peaceful

The Lawson property reminded us of beach cottages from our childhoods, in a good way. It is charming and cozy while having all the comforts of home. The beach was easily accessible and we had a great time.

This is a family owned cottage that we stay in when we do not rent it during the season. The cottage is "well loved" and great for families looking to chill out at the beach, read a book, or enjoy appetizers on the porch. The cottage is not huge, perfect size for a family of 6-8 people. It has one bathroom so that is always a pinch point. But you can't beat the access...we are right at the edge of the dune. 30 seconds and you're at the water's edge.
