I would suggest darkening or black out shades/curtains for the bedrooms. Above condo noise can be a issue, but we just went upstairs and reminded them people were below that could hear everything!

Great space!

The condo was very spacious for our family of 4 and the walk to the beach was easy. There was an issue with WiFi (wrong name and password) but it eventually got sorted out after 5 days. Overall, I’d recommend.

Conveniently located. Great beach access.

Perfect for our quick getaway. The master bedroom faced 30A. Early morning truck noise could be a problem if you're a light sleeper. Also, we were located above a restaurant and early mornings included loud music during prep. Not a deal breaker, but again, if you're a light sleeper. Acces to the beach and parking were perfect. For us beach time was the reason for the trip.

Always a good time at Grand Isle!

A Nice Stay on 30A

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The complex is small, not a high rise and the beach is a short walk across the street. Restaurant below offers the convenience for meals without the drive. The grounds are well kept, and the condo was clean. The only negatives are the beds were extremely uncomfortable, painful. I recommend upgrading the mattresses. And the unit above us was extremely noisy. I will definitely consider staying at the Grand Isle again, but maybe a different unit.

Convenient and clean

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Love the location, easy to get in and out of. Our only problem was the bunk bed was super wobbly so nobody would sleep on it. Our guests had to sleep on the couch. We told the property management company and they said someone would come by. Not sure if they came or not but it wouldn’t be a quick fix, if needs to be replaced.

Spacious condo, great location

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo is very clean, updated, and spacious. You can hear the people above you walking around the whole time, and it is lacking kitchen supplies like pots and pans and utensils to cook with, only stocked with bare minimum. The beds are very firm.Dryer did not work the entire week we were there even after multiple calls and emails to the rental office. We were promised multiple times someone would come out but no one did, we asked for clean towels and they brought a few with the promise to bring more but never came back. We did wash the towels provided but could not dry them and they are very rough.Location to the beach is awesome. Only a short walk across the street to private beach access, make sure to bring your own beach set up as it is not included.Parking is tight if you drive a large vehicle as you must park in assigned parking spot. Our truck barely fit beside the large vehicle in the next spot management suggestion was to park at gas station half a mile away.We have stayed with benchmark six times in the past and this was the first time we have had issues with poor Customer Service when reporting an issue. Disappointed and Benchmark 30A but loved this condo and location for the price.

Absolutely Filthy

Thick black mold around most of the vents, small black, curly little hairs everywhere, bloodstains on blankets, dirty beds with stained sheets, a discarded band-aid behind the nightstand. We spent the entire first night vigorously cleaning. There was a nice sign saying the rental was “professionally cleaned for Covid” but I absolutely did not see it. We called the rental management but didn’t hear back until the next day. I would not recommend staying here. It was revolting and quite frankly, dangerous. It was a nice location though. For our troubles, Benchmark Management offered us a very small discount on any additional days we’d like to stay but refused to compensate for the first day of cleaning. It was unfortunate because this was my family’s first vacation of 2020. The condition of the property when we arrived nearly ruined it. Just don’t do it. There are many other options and many other rental companies.

Hello Courtney! We do apologize for any errors in the clean. Our standard process is to be notified of any issues, and send out housekeeping immediately. It is certainly no excuse, but human error does exist in any industry, and we are more than willing to correct ourselves. Based on our notes, your group did not want anyone in the unit and preferred to clean it yourselves. As our team did not have a chance to correct any mistakes, we do not find it fair to our staff or our owners to provide a refund when our services were declined. That all being said, we are glad to know that you were satisfied with our solutions to the extent that you did extend your stay with us. The condo is comfortable, but could use some updating and deep cleaning. Specifically, the carpet needs to be replaced, and the sofa needs to be cleaned or replaced. There is one bbq grill located right by a dumpster, which is not very appetizing. With a few upgrades, this condo could be amazing!

Great location- unit was so-so

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 3rd time staying at Grand Isle but first time in this unit. We now know never to stay on the 2nd floor! We could hear the people above us constantly- it felt like they were walking around our unit instead of theirs. Additionally Theo was sand in 2 of the beds when we arrived (a LOT!) and the pool was closed almost the entire time. We love the location and will stay here again but in a different unit.
