Great Experience

A big plus is that Benchmark management has someone on site here during the day. This is very helpful in case issues arise, to tell you codes for beach doors, pool, etc. The only issue was that we really needed to check in 15 minutes early for an online meeting needing wifi and they would not allow that, which was disappointing.

Family beach vacation

Great location on the beach and close to bike trail. Property and unit needs painting and better cleaning. Beach access from property had trash cans overflowing on a daily basis. We did enjoy our trip however and will return to area but stay elsewhere

Pool was not usable.

Only issue was the pool. It didn’t appear to be cleaned regularly. There was a lot of algae growing on the sides and there was a lot of debris in the pool. I never saw anyone clean the pool the whole week. Other condos we stay at, the pools are cleaned daily.

The balcony is as pictured, stools and table and a chaise, very nice gulf view. You are steps from the pool and down the stairs from the beach. Get there early every day, beach chairs are first come. If you want to spend your extra credit money on bikes, let them know beforehand, they get delivered that evening, so you want to order them early in the week.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We went on a group trip with 4 other families and we all stayed on the same property and the same floor. I was sad to see our room compared to others, it was very outdated. The photos of the master bathroom were old. They added handicap bars in the restroom and it made it so much more cramped. The TVS were not smart TVs where we could log in to stream. It did have cable but not all channels were included. Overall, it was fine, but I would not choose to stay in this room again.

Memorial Day Vacation

The condo is very nice and comfortable. It had most everything we needed for our week at the beach. Beds were comfortable, view was amazing, kitchen had everything we needed. WiFi worked great. The walk way to the beach was easy and never a problem with elevators - although we took the stairs most of the time. The end unit felt very private. The unit came w 2 chairs/1 umbrella - they are first come first serve. We had to go down to the beach by 6:30 am to put towels on the chairs. All were taken by 7 am each day. It’s not the condo owners fault - but the chair system is frustrating because of having to wake up early on vacation to get chairs for the day. The guys working the chairs were not pleasant nor helpful. There needs to be a better system for the “free chairs/umbrella” perk. Our only lack in the condo unit was there no way to watch Netflix/Hulu/Amazon Prime etc My husband & I enjoy watching TV at night after dinner. There is basic cable in the unit. We suggest a Roku or upgrade to smart TV. This is of course a personal preference and may not be an issue with some. We would definitely rent this unit again.

Great location, unit needs love

The location of the condo is great, and the private beach and chairs and umbrella service were fantastic! This unit however has mold issues and a roach infestation. The property management sends lots of texts and emails until you need something, and then they ghost you. We did not stomp our feet, and demand to talk to a manager as that is not our style. I called the management number on morning #2, never received a call back. My husband stopped in the on-site office, and was told they would send the bug guy out (we never saw him). There is water damage around the patio door (there is packing tape holding the wall together). Behind the moldy curtains is missing baseboard housing a roach family that likes to come out in the evening. My daughter’s asthma was flaring so we left early. Please, for the safety of everyone in the building, FIX THE LINT TRAP IN THE DRYER!!! We didn’t demand our money back, or anything like that. I’m writing this honest review in hopes that improvements are made so future visitors can enjoy their stay.

Love the fact that there are 2 king beds. That being said there were a few issues. It’s time to replace sheets and pillows. Also the shower head in the guest bathroom sprayed water, hit the ceiling and puddled in the floor. Lastly the ice maker didn’t work correctly. The location is terrific and beach access was perfect. We would stay there again!
