Continental #105 is a nicely decorated 2 bedroom/1 bathroom ground floor condo with great ocean views!
The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, and cooking utensils. It has everything you need to cook a nice meal while on vacation!
The living area is spacious, and offers plenty of seating including a pull-out sofa sleeper to accommodate more guests if needed.
The condo has two bedrooms.
The master has a king bed and the guest room has two twin beds.
The pool area is a great place to cool off in our tropical beach climate.
Guests can get to the beach quickly, by using the private beach access for the complex.
Parking is conveniently located just across the street.

Our stay was okay. I enjoyed the easy access to the beach and the ground floor since we have 3 children. The convenience of having a kitchen was good since our little ones love milk. I was not impressed on the cleanliness of the condo. We were also unable to get the TV to connect. The restroom was extremely small. For the price I would not recommend unless like us we booked last minute.

Best weekend trip!

This location was so convenient and so much fun! It had the easiest access to the pool, the beach, and the store! The rooms had the best view of the ocean, and for it being a two bed room it was still pretty spacious. Overall, it was the best Mother's Day weekend ever!

Great place

Loved the place. It was clean and cool. Our stay was very nice. The only bad was my swimsuit was stolen off the patio rail and the front door mat.

RIGHT ON THE BEACH!

Very clean, comfortable and perfect location! Steps from the pool and RIGHT ON the beach. Being the condo closest to the beach access door and outdoor shower made it super convenient for our family with small children. About 100 yards to wanna wanna which has awesome food, drinks and live music. Most places will not allow you to park a boat but this one will! Highly recommend!

Right on the beach!

Our stay was great! We got what we paid for. Wifi worked great! Location is the best part! Right on the beach away from congested hotel area. We got a first floor condo and this made everything much easier with kids. In a few words I would say this is your traditional, pleasant, beach condo. We stayed 5 days and had no major issues or inconveniences. Would definitely stay again!

Padre Stay

The electrical plugs need to be replaced, what your trying to plug in won’t stay plugged in. We told the maintenance people and they were fixing them when we left. The condo is great very close to the beach and other activities. If you stay get the beach gear package it is so worth it. Will be back for sure.

SPI was great to deal with and their service, when called, was fast. I would definitely use them again. However, the rental in the Continental was an epic fail. There, apparently, was no seal around the door so the wind howled loudly. The smoke alarm went of when we started the furnace. The floors were not clean and the area rug in the living room was so filthy and spotted. Beds were very comfortable and the view was wonderful. We left after 5 days because I suffer from allergies and something in the unit triggered them.

Needs some serious update

The furnishings and bedding need some serious update. Furniture appeared to be purchased from a garage sale. Very old. Couch and beds were very uncomfortable. Blankets smelled stale. The kitchen and bathroom needs to be remodeled. Bathtub very dirty. The view of the water was ruined by the unkept landscaping just behind the balcony.

I will never rent from SPI again. They are hard to deal with and never give you a answer to your ? This was the third year we stayed at this condo. When asked about the rent for next year never got a straight answer from them, and when i did the rent up over $2000.00 a mouth. So much for loyalty Very disappointed whit them Jim Horn

Decent Getaway

The Continental Condiminiums are tucked away off of the main public strip. Over the past few years South Padre island has been overrun with golf cart rentals. This is something you'll have to deal with unfortunately. Constant golf cart traffic. Private parking is nice right across the street. As for the unit, it has pretty much all the amenities you'll need for a beach house. The A/C balancing in the unit is very poor. Both bedrooms get warm when it is very cold in the living room. Bathroom has separate toilet/shower but it very cramped. Property does have pool, but no hot tub. It does have a shower for washing off after beach going. Private beach pathway needs to be rebuilt. I would have preferred more ramps as well to pull wagons with beach stuff. Stay was decent, but a bit overpriced for the quality.

Does the Job

There was nothing fancy about this place, but the location is great! I would wake up, see the ocean then walk down and just walk along the beach. That is more important to me than being in a nicer house that is farther away. The place was clean and had everything we needed. The shower/tub is kinda gross looking although it's probably clean too. It just didn't look the nicest. We did fight over the bathroom daily (5 people 1 toilet) but it taught us patience. The master was comfortable. It has big red tiles with extra grout so the floor wasn't really comfortable. Sand got stuck in the grout and was harder for us to clean out than on a flat floor. Just inside is a closet that had a beach ball and floaty. We didn't use them. The complex it self is kinda ghetto. It is nicer inside than outside. There is a gate with a code to get in and out of the complex. The pool is really small but could work for kids. Social distancing is pretty hard in it if there is another family. The place comes with some dishwasher pods and a sponge which was really handy. It does the job if you want a place to stay that is affordable and on the beach. If you're looking for luxury look elsewhere. But all in all it's not bad
