For a family with children or a small group of friends, this casual condominium provides an economical way to enjoy all that one of South Padre Island condo rentals have to offer, right in the popular resort district. Imagine being able to walk through the grounds to the beach or to a fun family day at the Beach Park at Isla Blanca - South Padre Islands family water park. Enjoy the great pool area or hop the Island Metro, South Padre Island's free bus transportation, to go anywhere you want to go on the island!

Furnished with a casual beach theme, two queen size beds in the bedroom, and a queen size sofa sleeper in the living room, this condo will accommodate up to 6 guests comfortably. This South Padre Island vacation rental can be combined with several others in Gulfview I & II to accommodate groups as large as 60!


South Padre Island has a variety of restaurants to choose from so you may decide to dine out every night - you are only minutes away from the entertainment and dining venues of South Padre Island. But if you want to cook in, you will enjoy a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need other than a dishwasher (except for the human type!) plus BBQ grills and picnic tables poolside.

Gulfview II has a large pool and hot tub, laundry facilities, and parking right in front. If you enjoy the beach and are looking for casual accommodations without the higher price of the resort sized complexes, this is the perfect location for your stress-free South Padre Island getaway!

Great location, the condo was clean and the AC worked really well. We really enjoyed the large pool with bbq pit area. We’ll definitely stay here again.

Comfortable

It was a comfortable stay, enough space for my mom, my daughter and I. We have an issue with a blanket that was dirty and the management bring a clean one to exchange. The office is outside the property but they address the issue fast. The pool is big and clean. ImI will stay again there.

Great stay!

Loved the communication. The easy check in and the place was clean and smelled great. Easy walk to the beach and restaurant right on the beach. Pool area was very nice. Someone had spilled wine by the elevator and the cleaning crew was out there very quickly and had it cleaned up. They even offer carts to load your luggage and get it to your room! Highly recommend this location!

1- The apartment has 2 full beds, 1 of which is in bad shape. Since we were 2 adults and 2 kids, we put the kids in the bad one >.<

Wonderful condo!

My family and I stayed here (children ages 6 thru 16) and we all enjoyed the condo. Everything was clean and had convenient access to the beach. It included everything we needed to cook in house, even though we didn't do alot of that as planned. This section of the beach has an awesome sandbar that creates shallow area of clear water without waves that the smaller kids really enjoy. We also enjoyed the convenience of the beach bar/restaurant in that area. The price is resonable and makes it possible to have a great family vacation. Thanks for sharing your place! We hope to stay again next year!

Need to Update website

I loved the property...it was immaculate, close to the beach and to the free town bus. What i found irritating was that the information on the website concerning important details like after hours access differed from the actual practice. Eg, website says that as the trip approaches, i will receive details for getting keys after hours. However, I had already departed my home in Canada on the arrival day, before that info arrived in my email. It was very nervewracking as I am elderly, was travelling alone and did not know how I would gain entrance, til the last minute. Please update your website.

Do not stay at this property!

This property is rented by Padre Getaways, they were very nice and accommodating. Would rent from them again, at another location. This specific complex, Gulfview I & II was terrible. Gulfview II uses the pool that belongs to Gulfview I, and there was a pot bellied security guard that stayed there 24/7 smoking and harassing people constantly about every single thing. No fun is allowed. Period. When we checked in the lady at Padre Getaways gave us bracelets for the pool and said you don't have wear them all the time, just have them with you, OH NO, Barney Fife was having none of it. So we had to wear blue plastic bracelets for 5 days, just to use the pool. What's the difference if I tie it to my pool bag strap? Then there was a very large group having a family reunion, and they were using all of the tables and BBQ pits and the security guard was harassing them saying people were complaining they were all taken. No one was complaining. They even moved and stopped using one so someone else could. No one else came. And they were also towing cars out of the parking lot that were not parked in the correct spots. It was very high anxiety and not at all relaxing. None of this is due to Padre Getaways, but specifically the Gulfviews, they're not worth it. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

Island-Themed Comfort

The condo has been thoughtfully decorated in a classy, not kitschy, attractive island theme. Updated kitchen with granite-topped counters and breakfast bar. Ample kitchen equipment for slow cooking, pancakes and margaritas! Dining table at far side of living area at the windows. Those windows look out on the parking lot, but at least you can keep a good eye on your vehicles! Bathroom appears to be original, but it all works. I had plenty of trouble with the electronic code for entry and locking up. There is a trick to it -- hope there are directions in the packet now. Also know that to enter the pool area you have to pull up on the black knob on top of the gate lock. All in all the price was fair and I'd rent this unit again.

Great place to take your family

Wonderful condo located away from the busy center of the Island. We brought our three kids and loved the short walk to the beach and huge pool. We spent every night making friends in the pool as it was quite the hang out spot. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was completely stocked. If I had one suggestion it would be to add a full length mirror.
