DESCRIPTION: Welcome to Paradise! Island Girl is a beautifully appointed 4 bedroom 4.5 bath home with a private pool. This wonderful home was designed by the award winning Barefoot Architect, which has a well established history of designing beautiful villas on St. John. The architect created a villa that was designed to maximize the views; from the great room, to the bedrooms, as well as all the spacious decks, your eyes will be immediately drawn to the majestic views of Coral Bay and beyond.

From the moment you arrive, you will appreciate the aesthetically pleasing details at Island Girl. From the parking area, which can accommodate two vehicles, to the gated entrance and lush landscaping, no detail was too small. As you gaze around at the tropical and colorful flowers, you will see hummingbirds and bananaquits coming in for a visit and don't miss the fruit trees surrounding the villa; banana, papaya, mango and lime trees, are available for you to enjoy during your stay.

The same can be said for when you enter the villa, the color palette, the elegant, yet comfortable furnishings all add to the ambiance of this stylish villa, creating a serene and inviting atmosphere. The multi-level design includes, an open floor plan with the great room and covered deck on the main level, one master bedroom on the upper level, and three additional master bedrooms, all with their own outside seating areas, are located on the lower levels. All floors are accessed by an interior staircase, which is not a common design found in the Caribbean and one that is sure to be appreciated.

The pool, pool deck, and poolside bar are located on the lower level of the home. The sparkling pool is a wonderful place to spend a lazy day when you don't feel like exploring. At night, the pool deck is the perfect place to view the heavenly array of constellations in the evening sky. If you are fortunate to be staying here when there is a full moon, the moonlight illuminates the sea and it is breathtaking.

LOCATION: Island Girl is located in Flanagan's Passage, in Coral Bay, high above Johnson Bay. Its majestic view overlooks outer Coral Bay, the East End of St. John, Tortola, Drakes Passage, and the necklace of islands that stretches from Norman Island all the way to Virgin Gorda and beyond. You are about a 7-10 minute drive to Coral Bay and 25-30 minute drive to Cruz Bay, all on paved roads. From the moment you arrive at Island Girl, you are sure to appreciate the privacy and peacefulness of this location.

The National Park beaches at Salt Pond Bay and Lameshur Bay are a 10-15 minute drive. The north shore beaches (Maho, Francis, Trunk Bays) are easily accessible from the Centerline Road and are about a 20 minute drive.

On the drive from Island Girl into Coral Bay there is an interesting selection of restaurant, bars, shops and grocery stores, all within a 3-10 minute drive. Various local restaurants such as Skinny Legs, Johnny Lime, Surf Cantina, and Miss Lucy's offer a broad variety of food, from cheeseburgers to upscale dining and beverage options. You can also find local musicians playing sometimes during happy hours.

LIVING & DINING: The air-conditioned great room consists of an open floor plan, with the living, interior dining and kitchen all on one level. There are retracting glass doors in the living room that open on to the covered deck, which will expand your living space and if desired, offers you an indoor/outdoor feel for your Caribbean vacation. The living room includes a cozy couch with chaise lounge, oversized chair, coffee table and end tables. For those wanting to watch your favorite sports team or TV drama, the home includes Dish satellite TV and a Blue Ray DVD player and a Smart TV (access Netflix & Prime Video using your personal logins). Some DVDs, books, and games are in the villa for your use, or bring your favorites.

The interior and exterior dining tables each comfortably seat six and each enjoy the beautiful views overlooking Coral Bay. No matter where you chose to dine, you are sure to enjoy your time together, enjoying a delicious meal and conversation about the wonderful time you are having on St. John.

KITCHEN: The well equipped gourmet kitchen, located just behind the living and dining area, includes stainless steel appliances (Wolfe, Sub Zero & Miele) and is accented by colorful glass tilework and Thinkglass countertops. The kitchen bar area is a perfect spot to gather and includes three bar stools, where you can sit and relax and enjoy your morning cup of coffee and chat with whoever is cooking.

BEDROOMS: The four en suite air-conditioned master bedrooms, are all beautifully decorated and include king beds, ocean views and private decks with comfy outdoor seating, a perfect spot to read a good book or enjoy your morning 'cup of Joe'. Each bedroom is spread across the four levels of the home and are accessed by the interior staircase. The top level master bedroom includes an outdoor shower, the lower level, fourth bedroom includes an indoor and outdoor shower, where as the two middle level bedrooms each have an indoor shower. All bathrooms are exquisitely tiled, and each look out to the beautiful views of Coral Bay.
