This property features an open concept floor plan. Updated kitchen and appliances, furniture, high speed Fios internet and Smart TV. Updated bathrooms with stylish tile and fixtures.

4 Bedrooms: 1 queen size bed, 1 full size beds, 1 full/twin bunk bed (with pack-n-play crib), and 1 twin bed. All bedrooms located on the second floor away from the living area. Sleeps up to 8. Window AC units & ceiling fans. Convenient second floor washer & dryer.

Reserved parking for one car. 4 beach badges included.

Huge back deck with gas bbq grill, large dining area, lounge seating, and outdoor shower.

This is a smoke free home. Pets accepted on a case-by-case basis. Professionally cleaned linens can be provided for a $100 fee (sheets, towels, and beach towels) or you can bring your own.

House was perfect for my family. It’s so close to the beach which my mother loved. It’s also very close to many restaurants and coffee shops in Manasquan.

I already knew the location, so no surprises, a great location. Very clean, plenty of clean linens and towels. Also plenty of paper towels and TP, never had to use what I brought down. The family loved it. Would do it again.

Family graduation

Our daughter lives in Manasquan. The entire family was able to get together for a long beach weekend to celebrate a H.S. Graduation . Seven of us stayed in the Squan House and it was perfect!! We gathered at the beach and on the back deck. We were blessed with outstanding weather. Marilyn was extremely attentive and lovely. Thank you!!

Wonderful stay! Thank you so much! Manasquan is a great beach town! My children remarked this vacation being in their top 3 all time! As parents, we loved it as well!

Perfect location

We had a lovely stay with our two young children + grandparents. The location couldn't be more perfect - just a minute walk to the beach, made a huge difference with young kids. Beach badges, beach chairs and beach towels were a huge plus. The host was responsive and her house is a real gem!

It was an ok stay but the ice machine and washer were not working and window air conditioners weren't to good and the one in my room that tapped the out going hot air to the window and it kept coming off and I'd have to tape it back to try and cool the room. The upstairs bathroom shower leaked water on to the floor when you showered. The storm while I was there broke one of the umbrellas as well.

Perfect Stay!

Stayed at Marilyn's property with my husband, 6 year old and 5 month old. Location was absolutely perfect, close enough to the beach where we could run home quickly if need be. House was incredibly clean with a well stocked kitchen for everything we needed to cook a few meals. It was probably the best house we've ever rented. Backyard was great with the kids. We rented the linens and towels which I highly recommend. We plan to be back next summer!

Would definitely reccomend

We were extremely pleased with this rental. The rooms were larger than they appeared in the photos for the most part. The whole place was ideally appointed to meet all of our needs while still being simple enough to make it very easy to stay at. The owner had a folder prepared with notes that came in very handy during our stay. There was a note indicating some trick to using the grill but we just decided to not use it during our stay to avoid any trouble. The owner quickly and patiently answered any questions we had. The beach was one house away and the perfect pace for our family. A playground on the beach and arcade and ice cream a couple minutes walk made this place hard to beat. Absolutely would rent here again.

Perfect family vacation

What a beautifully done beach house! We loved the location. Neighbors were quiet and just a few feet to the beach entrance. Mostly families on the beach and the kids loved playing in the surf at low tide catching sand crabs. The deck is awesome! We ate all meals outside listening to the waves. Lots of room for kids to play. The owners provided toys for inside and outside! Beds are very comfortable. The bunk bed room is cool and dark for long mid day naps! The main living area is spacious and comfortable for relaxing and the kitchen is fully equipped! We had a great vacation and Marilyn was very responsive! Thanks for everything!

Perfect beach location

We tried to get a house directly I. The beach but no properties were available. Luckily we stumbled onto the gem that was directly behind the houses on the beach. It was the perfect size for my family of 5. Communication was easy and Marilyn is a great host. The house has everything you need in the kitchen and bathrooms. The washer/dryer was key and we used it daily. There are air conditioning units in each room and 2 smart tvs. Marilyn provided us with beach passes for our whole family so that saved us $40 a day! Getting to the beach was easy and only a minute walk. It’s also close to shopping and restaurants, also walkable. We had a great time and would definitely recommend this house to anyone who wants to stay as close to the beach as possible without being on the beach. Thanks for everything Marilyn!!

Wonderful stay! Would return!

Highly recommend this property. Exactly what you want in a trip down the shore...open concept downstairs, plenty of rooms/beds upstairs, AC, renovated, and steps from the water. Great location in general. We loved that the home provided beach chairs/towels, and had an outdoor sitting area. Washer/dryer was also clutch. The only hang up was that linens are not included, which I did not realize, but luckily we were able to grab some to bring from home last minute. Helpfulness from the property owners was great. Would absolutely return!

Great Beach House

We had a great time at the Squan house. The beach is right around the corner and very easy to access. The town is very cute and within walking and biking distance. The house came with everything we needed, they really thought of everything. There was a nice private patio out back we could relax in. House could use more seating in living area but besides that it worked well for our group of 8 (4 kids, 4 adults). Thank you!

Great house, great location

Our stay at The Squan House was perfect. The house is so nicely set up, and comfortable and clean. The backyard deck is awesome, and almost nothing can beat how close we were to the beach - easy to hang out for hours and run back and forth to the house for whatever we needed. We were impressed with how equipped the kitchen was, unlike any rental we've been in. And last but not least, Marilyn was so communicative and helpful, and we really appreciate the time we spent there!

Beautiful Home, Great Location

This home is perfect for a family vacation. Location is a 30 second walk to the beach. Great for setting up and spending all day at the beach. The home was cozy, but a nice layout. 4 upstairs bedrooms, 2 full baths, and the back deck was ideal for eating and relaxing. If I had to be critical, we are used to sleeping in a king bed, so the full beds in the bedrooms took a bit of getting used too, but it worked. It was a very quiet neighborhood which made it easy to fall asleep fast. Walking distance to food, deli, and close enough to go out to a restaurant. Would recommend to any family looking for a relaxing week on the beach. Great stay!!!

We had a great week here. The house has everything you might need and the location could not be better. Marilyn was very responsive and helpful, she even left cookies.
