This was a great place to stay for a couple weeks while I was in Colorado Springs. Great location. Great neighborhood. It's a nice, clean basement apartment. Easy access. Great communication.

Ghosted

We arrived as planned and pulled into the property driveway. After driving 13 hours, we were looking forward to a shower and dinner. We had not yet received any communication from the host, so we messaged her in the Vrbo app, and we called her twice. Husband knocked on the door, no answer. He returned to the car and while sitting in our car, trying to reach her, she walked out and got into her car that we were parked next to, and drove away. She didnt acknowledge us or look at us! We thought it may have been another guest at first. Nope. It was her. Vrbo was great and refunded our booking fee. They had no trouble reaching her, unlike us. I texted her because she wouldnt answer my call, and told her how crappy it was to drive all that way and be ghosted. She actually had the nerve to tell me that she was sorry and that people turn around in her driveway all the time. She said we should have announced ourselves! We did, via text and voicemail. Every hotel in Colorado Springs was booked, except for the Hilton which was 700 a night, I kid you not! It was a very frustrating, inconvenient and late night. Our first bad experience with a Vrbo host.

No room to stay

My husband went to stay for 2 nights. We booked back in February and prepaid. When he showed up in June, he still hadnt received check in instructions so I called the owner. She told me she hasn't seen the booking and had no room. Afterwards she found the booking but still didn't help as there wasn't a room for him. We had to last minute find a hotel at our cost. VRBO was good and got a refund for us but it was very difficult to find a different place to stay for 2 nights last minute.

My friend and I stayed with Ms. Floreth for two nights. She was very friendly over the phone and had great communication. Our room was ready and clean for when we got there and had everything we needed. There was even a mini fridge for our leftovers which was thoughtful. Great location! It was about 10 minutes away from a shopping center and/or plenty of food restaurants. Thanks so much, highly recommend.

Comfortable and Affordable

Floreth is a very nice host. She let my stay so comfortable and safe. My room is big. I slept well and I feel at home. As a student nurse, I highly recommended it for the price and the area too. I continue to stay at her place until I go back to Hawaii soon. Thank you so much! Floreth.

Our room was double booked and we had no where to stay..

We went to stay where we booked and we booked 2 weeks in advance and we get there and was told our room was double booked and then we was offered a room in the host house was very uncomfortable it seems there was multiple people renting rooms out of this house was a horrible experience
