This neighborhood is the best of authentic Costa Rica. Within 15 minutes, you can access several magestic and quiet beaches with excellent surfing, fishing and waves. Junquillas beach also has a turtle hatchery where you can witness the release of the baby turtles into the ocean.
Los Pargos has several world-class restaurants within walking distance. With a wonderful local Soda close by, there’s also French, Asian-Fusion, Italian, Peruvian, and a Steakhouse in the town. And Pizza delivery if you feel like staying in.
The best of everything is within reach of our home, with Waterfall hikes, Zip-lining, white-water tubing, horseback riding, atv tours and more for when you crave a day trip.
Being at the coast means it’s hot all year long. No need for sweaters or a heater! But we do have hot water on demand from all 3 showers. We aim to make your stay comfortable and fun by ensuring you have access to all that you need.
The home is in the Finca so you will have monkey visitors and lots of birds to enjoy. It’s common to see iguana and lizards, and if you get lucky, you can see the armadillo who lives near the pool. Nature abounds at CASA NiCO!

My favourite part of the property is the balance of energy with the giant Mango “tree of life” and the spooky/cool Matapalo “tree of death” that govern the land.
