Ocean Pines

We had a great stay! Our daughter competed in the USSSA Eastern Nationals and Ocean Pines was the perfect home base! The property was clean and spacious and the property owner was super accessible. Highly recommend!

Perfect home away from home

We enjoyed our stay here for 4 nights. The home was immaculately clean with all of the comforts of home. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes, pots, etc. for cooking. There is a grocery store nearby as well as gas stations, restaurants, and other stores. You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay here!

Comfortable, clean, classy

What a beautiful and comfortable home! Perfect getaway for our family of 4. Close to stores and shops and only a 10-15 minute ride to the beach. This home had everything we needed and the beach chairs and umbrella came in handy. The host checked in during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!! Hopefully we will be back!

Home Sweet Home

We felt right at home here! Everything is beautifully renovated and decorated. Beds and furniture were extra comfy. Owners were extremely accommodating. We didn't want to leave!

The House was perfect for what we needed. But found the kitchen counters sticky and had dry tomato sauce on varies spots of the counter. The refrigerator had dry liquid on the bottom shelf that had been cleaned in some time. The dishwasher was filled when we came but was never cleaned. We just left it the way we found it. The refrigerator was also difficult to open the door to put items in it, due to the molding . The kitchen garbage can was not cleaned out- it was full of coffee grinds and it had terrible odor. But as far as the rest of the home it was cleaned.

Summer Vacation 2023

We were very impressed with how lovely this home was. It was large and very clean. We loved spending time in the Sunroom. The house is kept up very nicely. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and look forward to staying here again.

Great house!!

This property was absolutely wonderful. Very clean, everything seemed new, everything and anything you needed at your fingertips. Very close to shopping, entertainment, pools, and restaurants. Host was very accommodating. Would highly recommend! Thank you Laura!!

Perfect Family Vacation

This was our first experience renting through VRBO and it exceeded our expectations! The house was perfect for our family of 5 and the fact we could bring our dog was icing on the cake. Very clean and beautifully decorated. Had all the conveniences we would need for a week at the beach plus access to 5 different pools which was great for the kids! Homeowner was incredibly responsive and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again! Thanks!!

Great stay!

The property was lovely and exactly as advertised! It was clean and spacious. The kitchen had lots of dishes and cooking utensils. There was a nice supply of coffee, teas, and some snacks from the host. The sun room off the kitchen was great for visitors to spread out. The huge tv in the family room was also appreciated. We enjoyed being able to bring our two small dogs. Having a pet friendly property was appreciated. The grocery store was convenient and the property was close to other family members. A lovely house and we enjoyed our three night stay. Thank you Laura for our memorable and fun stay!

A Peaceful Paradise for Families

This charming home provided the perfect escape from the bustling OCMD scene. Nestled in a serene community, it offered a wealth of amenities, including pickleball courts, swimming pools, basketball courts, and numerous parks. The house itself was a delightful retreat, with comfortable sofas and impeccable cleanliness. While there was a minor incident with the queen bedroom fan, Laura's prompt response quickly resolved the issue. The only minor inconvenience was the responsibility of handling the linens upon departure (wash, dry & fold). It made it difficult to depart quickly. Overall, this was a fantastic experience for our family, and we highly recommend it.

Close to the beach but not the crowds

Ocean Pines is just minutes from Ocean City but it feels like you’re nestled in the woods. It’s a great location and this home is wonderful. The floor plan is open and the vaulted ceilings make it feel even bigger. Just a few steps to get in, then everything is on one level. The master bathroom is well thought out and perfect for someone with mobility concerns. Our host, Laura even had food and water bowls and tie-outs at the ready for our little dog. There’s plenty of comfortable seating, an enormous TV, and a well equipped kitchen. There’s also a sunroom that we didn’t take advantage of. I’m not sure this lovely home would be the best choice for families with active younger children simply because the yard isn’t ideal for them to run around and play. But for my family and our pup, it couldn’t have been better! We definitely hope to return for another stay.

Spacious for family of four w/ a dog!

A quick get away for our family after school ended. The home is is larger than the pictures showed and super clean! We had a great stay enjoyed iced lattes from Casita Linda in the morning, Popce’s ice cream in the evening. We had no trouble getting over the bridge into OV to get to the boardwalk. Did the oceanfront beach club one day. It was nice to have food and drink served to us there but the one thing I would change is the blasting rap music the second the club opened. It’s mainly families with young kids at hard core rap blasting over the speakers from the beach club was really weird. We made the best of it hung out for a while, swam, grabbed food, (which was really good!) and played corn hole which is available. You do also have to pay to use the pools each day and it’s not cheap - $30 for our fam of four every day we used the pool, make sure you add that into your cost of vacation. Also the ocean pines pool that serves food and drink that is not on the beach does not allow kids. You can go to the family pool Nextdoor. But no food options and very limited shade. There is one little beach next to one of the oven lines pools that dogs can visit so we went there one night and it was lovely. The drive to assateague island is about 30 mins so we also spent a few hours in the evening to see the wild horses and set up on a quiet beach. Carnival rides and arcade on the boardwalk were a total hit! Overall the home itself was perfect for us it was spacious, Laura is lovely!

Ocean pines Gem

Our stay was for the better part of the work week and we thoroughly enjoyed the home and it’s proximity to everything Ocean City Maryland has to offer. With his access to Route 90 and Route 50, everything is 15 to 20 minutes away and Staples in amenities can be reached in under five. It was a wonderful experience and I can see our little family going back year after year.

This property is perfect for a family looking for a quiet stay at the beach. Close to the shopping center. Beautiful house with updated kitchen and bathrooms. Massive tv, rain shower heads. This has been our favorite place to stay in a long time.

Great vacation place

The house is perfectly located in Ocean Pines. It’s less than a 20 min drive to Ocean City and Assateague Island. The parking pass for the beach club in Ocean City and having access to the pools in Ocean Pines was huge perk. The kitchen is fully stocked. We had no issues with the house. We had a fantastic vacation.

Beautiful home and wonderful host

Laura has a beautiful home in a wonderful community. We were able to walk around the lake and enjoy the playground in the community. There are so many restaurants options and stores nearby. The house was very spacious and nicely decorated. We were all comfortable and enjoyed our stay. Laura was such a gracious host, very accommodating and responsive to all of my questions. I would definitely rent this house again in the future and recommend it to others.

It was always a dream to purchase a beach house but took a while to find the right one...this was finally the right one! This home was custom built and has great character! During the Pandemic, my husband and I spent time renovating it to bring the beach feel inside. It was no small task and we still have more to do! We have many projects to complete but we are tackling each project room by room during the off season. We hope to enjoy our retirement years in Ocean Pines but for now, we'll settle for a few weeks in the summer and renovation projects in the winter.
