Prístino estudio frente al mar en Playa Azul I

Nuestra familia es el propietario original de este hermoso apartamento ubicado en un piso superior de Playa Azul I, un condominio frente al mar de 22 pisos ubicado en la soleada Luquillo, Puerto Rico. Con una pared de vidrio de celosía de 18 pies que abarca su ancho, nuestro espacioso estudio de 523 pies cuadrados enmarca una impresionante vista panorámica del Atlántico y se refresca con la refrescante brisa del océano.

El apartamento es libre de humo y está impecablemente mantenido. Las renovaciones recientes incluyen una remodelación completa del baño con baldosas de travertino de piso a techo y accesorios de primera calidad. La cocina cuenta con una nueva gama eléctrica. Recientemente, se compraron nuevos colchones futón de 9 pulgadas, cómodos adornos de espuma viscoelástica y ropa de cama de alta calidad en mayo de 2019.

Si viaja con amigos y / o familiares y necesita más de una reserva, también poseemos y alquilamos el estudio vecino (listado # 654266).

Playa Azul es un complejo cerrado que se encuentra a pasos de la hermosa playa de Playa Azul. Dentro del complejo encontrará canchas de tenis y baloncesto, dos piscinas (incluida una piscina para niños pequeños), equipos de juego para niños y una casa club. Una tienda de comestibles, farmacia, estación de servicio, cajero automático bancario, lavandería y varios restaurantes se encuentran a poca distancia.

La ubicación del condominio en Luquillo es ideal para explorar la parte oriental de Puerto Rico. La selva tropical nacional El Yunque está a solo unos minutos al oeste en la ruta 3, y Fajardo, con su bahía bioluminiscente y ferries a las islas Culebra y Vieques, está a unas pocas millas al este. Comprar en el viejo San Juan y en los puntos de venta es un modesto viaje de 20 a 40 minutos. Varios campos de golf de campeonato se encuentran en resorts cercanos dentro de 10 millas.

Beautiful views and great location!

This was our first time to Puerto Rico, so I relied on others' reviews to find the right place to stay.Sandra was very communicative and let us know of a small construction project that had started before we arrived. She kept us updated as she was informed of the progress.The apartment had everything we needed, was super clean, and the view was spectacular! It's in a cute neighborhood and has security, which was nice.We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful Experience

We spent a total of four weeks and enjoyed every bit of our stay.The complex is guarded 24/7.With few steps to the beach which btw was clean and way less crowded than surrounding beaches, and the views from the balcony made for a very relaxing and enjoyable time in PR. We highly recommend Sandra's place and staying in the area of Luquillo.

Room At The Top!

Million dollar view and just steps from the beach. The location was safe and secure. We enjoyed the sight and sound of the breaking waves. Residents, visitors and staff were very friendly. It was just a short drive for a snorkeling excursion that departed from the marina in Fajardo, or visit to the El Yunque National Forest. Plenty of restaurants and retailers are nearby. The property was well equipped to prepare meals and stocked with everything that we needed to relax on the beach and get wet in the surf.

Sanctuary with an awesome view!

This is a studio on the 18th floor of a very secure building. The staff at the gate and front door are friendly and helpful. This is a home that has been given loving care and lots of attention to details to made our stay stress free. If you tire of the ocean it has a wonderful pool for residents to enjoy too. The balcony, which faces the ocean was where we rested each evening after a day of exploring. Hot showers and we’ll equipped kitchen added to the easy living!

Perfect location!

The view from this apartment is breathtaking. We'd never been to Puerto Rico and this place provided the perfect intro. The beach is five minutes out the door and we loved that it was off the beaten path. We could look out our balcony and see for miles in every direction. The breezes were amazing and we never felt hot or muggy. We always felt safe and the security was high but not over bearing. We walked along the beach to the west and found our own private lagoon protected from the waves with perfectly clear aqua water. Lots of food options close by and very close to the rain forest which is amazing. Nice grocery store is five minute drive. The apartment is small but very nicely furnished. Bathroom is newly redone and very nice. Futon is not that great. Too short and difficult to get comfortable. For the price, this was awesome for what we needed. Sandra was extremely helpful and responsive. One of the best owners we ever worked with. The pool was unfortunately closed for repairs and she refunded some of our payment.

Breathtaking View/Slice of Heaven

The first thing you notice when entering this charming, stylish apartment is the view. It will take your breath away. The view alone is worth this low low price for lodging. But once you manage to pry your eyes away from the scenery, you'll notice a very nicely appointed studio apartment with all the amenities needed to enjoy your stay -- kitchen with all needs, towels, linens, beach supplies, etc etc. There is no air conditioning, but for the view and the price is not much of a problem. We probably stayed during the hottest and driest month of the year. We were in Puerto Rico for nine days and IT. NEVER. RAINED. With that said, there is a VERY STRONG cross breeze when you open the window slats on the door and the sliding door and windows to balcony. Really, it's like a giant fan. There are also two ceiling fans in the unit. It may not be frosty cold, but it is quite comfortable, especially when most of your time is spent at the beach and on the AMAZING BALCONY WITH AMAZING VIEW. Did I mention the view is amazing? Anyway, contact Sandra and stay at this wonderful gem - you won't regret it.

A week at a beautiful place!

I stayed by myself at this property. I felt safe in the gated parking and secure building, and the security personnel and building residents were all really friendly. The apartment was perfect for a comfortable stay. The view is unbelievable! Just a few steps out the back property gate and I was enjoying the beach from sunrise to sunset every day. The host is very responsive. I would highly recommend and will stay again if in the area.

Loved the location with a quiet beach or front and the party beach (Luquillo Beach) with kiosks just a mile away. El Yunque was a short drive up the mountain to the gate and boat tours and rentals in Fajardo just a few miles away. The studio is clean and had what you need for a comfortable stay. No A/C but the sea breeze makes sleeping comfortable.

Great stay!

Sandra’s place had everything we needed. Everything from extra towels to Tupperware that holds leftovers in the fridge. I appreciated was how clean it was, but the best part was the view - it felt like you were eighth on the ocean! Thanks for everything Sandra, we’ll be back!

Can't Get Any Closer to the Beach!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was the perfect amount of space for 2 and was very clean and welcoming when we arrived. The few of the beach is spectacular. We thought Luquillo was the perfect spot to vacation in PR. Away from the crowds in San Juan, but in a town large enough to have plenty of meal options. It was convenient to get to the rainforest, which we really enjoyed! The trip to Farjado for snorkeling, kayaking, and breakfast at Las Vistas Cafe was easy too. And the beach just steps away was perfect and never crowded. We appreciated the security for the parking lot and building. Like others, we enjoyed the breeze and listening to the ocean. Do note that the condo doesn't have AC and can get warm. You'll need a rental car to get there and enjoy the area. Sandra was a very helpful owner and a pleasure to do business with.

Great deal

This is an extremely comfortable, clean, well-stocked studio apartment on the 18th floor overlooking Luquillo Beach. Yes, the view is breathtaking. The building is staffed 24 hours/day, and the lobby/front desk people were very friendly and helpful. There is only one bar and one restaurant within easy walking distance, so a car is highly recommended. There is a decent supermarket (Amigos) across the highway that you could walk to if necessary, and a better one (Ralphs) a few miles down the highway in Fajardo. The "kiosks" (actually restaurants), a short drive in the opposite direction, are great, and there are other good restaurants too. The beach is one of the best in Puerto Rico, and it's only about a 20-minute drive to El Yunque rain forest. The ferries to Culebra and Vieques are about a half-hour drive, in Fajardo, and Old San Juan is about a 45-minute drive, mostly on a nice new toll road (not expensive). So Luquillo makes a great home base for sightseeing. Sandra does a great job making this condo a top choice. We would definitely stay there again on a return trip to Puerto Rico.

Amazing Experience

We spent a week in Luquillo and had the wonderful opportunity to rent this beautiful studio. It was exceptionally clean and just the perfect size to relax and enjoy the ocean and to explore the sights nearby. I would highly recommend this studio to anyone interested in going to Puerto Rico - we were lulled to sleep every night by the waves, ate at some delicious restaurants very nearby (walking distance) and loved being able to drink our morning coffee on the beautiful balcony that looked out onto the beaches and ocean. Just incredible! Luquillo is a very comfortable distance from the airport and it was easy to find the condo. There are lots of options for activities in the nearby area. The owner is wonderful and was always quick to answer any questions by email and made sure that our stay was comfortable and top notch! I just can't say enough positive things about this studio. A vacation we will remember for many, many years to come!

Beautiful view and relaxing atmosphere

I spent almost a week in one of the most relaxing places I can think. My girlfriend and I spent a week away proir to having our first child and spent our days on a beautiful balcony looking over a majestic view of the ocean. We also spent a lot of time relaxing next to the pool and cooking some of our own meals in the convenience of the condo. I was a bit apprehensive with it being my first time using a site such as homeaway, but Sandra is amazing and easy to get a hold of and fast with communicating. The community is gated and the complex is top notch. The beach is lovely, but I would recommend taking the fairy to Flamenco beach out of Fajardo at least one day in your trip. It's a short drive down route 3 and easy to get to. Overall I would recommend this condo to anyone, with the sound of the ocean lulling you to sleep and waking you up, I can't think of many better ways to do it. Sandra's a pleasure to deal with and hopefully this review will help some others decide on taking advantage of a lovely condo.

Incredible view and value!!!

My wife and I just spent 7 nights in Sandra's Condo. We are both very experienced travelers and have stayed in many condos, villas, hotels and resorts in the 21 countries we have visited. I spent weeks in November looking at hundreds of condos on VRBO and TripAdvisor and after a lot of research; I settled on Sandra's Luquillo condo. This condo is everything and more that she advertised it as. When we walked into Sandra's condo we were taken back by how clean, modern and tastefully decorated her place was. The view is spectacular and even better than the pictures. The sound of the ocean was sweet music to our ears every day and night. This is one of the best values we have ever found and we absolutely would come back and recommend this to our friends. My wife's 1 main request was a place with ocean front balcony and view. This condo is that and more! There is plenty of beautiful beach to walk and unlike staying in San Juan (Isla Verde or Condado) you don't have people crawling all over you on the beaches. You can get some alone time and walk miles of beach etc. There is a very nice pool onsite and there are plenty of restaurants and a large grocery store (Amigo) just across highway 3. Sandra recommended some great places to eat and visit and she was spot on in her recommendations. We also found another amazing restaurant 10 minutes away in Rio Grande called Verde BBQ on HWY 3 a block east of HWY 66. Trip Advisor has it ranked #5 out of 32 restaurants in Rio Grande. We ordered ribs, a half a chicken, sweet potatoes and a pina colada for $17.00!!! This is a fantastic place to stay! Sandra is the consummate professional and is so responsive in getting back to you in emails and phone calls. She sent us all of the info we needed and called me the day we checked out to see if we were happy and had any suggestions. Thank you for a wonderful time Sandra! My advice; if you want a great beachfront location 30 minutes away from the noise and congestion of San Juan and you don't have a $300+/night budget; don't look any further. Book Sandra's condo!!!

A relaxing week of fresh sea air in a charming beachfront condo!

We have just returned from a week spent relaxing on the beach, eating delicious food, and exploring the local towns. The charming apartment in Luquillo was perfect, providing all household necessities: linens, beach equipment, kitchen utensils, beautiful views - and very restful, comfortable sleeping in the sea breezes! There is a multitude of activities all within a 20 minute drive: El Yunque rainforest, the bioluminescent bay, deep sea or inland fishing, meandering through the local kiosks - it goes on and on. However, just as good as any other activity, is a day spent on the beautiful beach right at your fingertips. The beach the condo sits on is calm enough for family members of all ages; but if you are looking for more excitement, you can head just around the corner to catch a wave for surfing. So, in summary: lovely condo, beautiful beach, delicious food, and very relaxing! Thanks again for a wonderful trip!

Very relaxing vacation

The condo is just as described and the owner has thought of and provided everything a traveler would need to be comfortable in this little home away from home. It is clean and very well stocked and is ideally located over looking the beach. It is within walking distance of restaurants, grocery stores etc and in driving distance of Old San Juan and lots of local attractions. We especially enjoyed the extraordinary food and service at Rincon del Sabor as well as the Brass Cactus both located in Luquillo. It was a great place to spend our two week Christmas and New Year vacation. Many thanks Sandra for sharing your place with us and for all your help and co operation. A wonderful week in Luquillo

We had a wonderful time in the condo at Playa Azul. We were desperate for a week in the sun away from NYC and this was just perfect. From the easy drive from the San Juan airport, to the fantastic proximity to the beach, to the food options at the kiosks, to falling asleep to the sound of breaking waves, we couldn't have been happier. Day trips to other parts of the island are easy and being only 10 minutes from El Yunque is incredible. If you crave a taste of luxury the el conquistador resort is nearby for massages or other treatements but we felt so lucky to be staying in our own condo with the kitchen and basically private beach in front. Our favorite food spots were the Ceviche Hut at the Kioscos and Yunni's Pinchos about a mile south of PR 3 on the "Sabanna" exit in Luquillo (only open Friday-Monday). On your way to Luquillo be sure to stop at the fruit and veg stands on the road from the airport to pick up oranges, papaya, avocados and plantains. We hope to be back sooner than later! Beautiful Ocean Breeze

My husband and I would like to thank Sandra for letting us stay at her little perfect place in Luquillo, PR. The location was spectacular and the condo was great just as the pictures indicated. Sandra’s little place was clean, cool and fresh. Looking out the balcony was so amazing with a beautiful ocean view. My husband and I went one evening to have dinner at Pasion por el fogon restaurant in Fargo, we recommend this restaurant highly. Sandra thanks again for letting us rent your condo. We will definitely go back again.
