Perfect for large group

Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the benefits of a large group. Kids stayed in basement and adults stayed upstairs giving us space to have fun and have silent moments. Fairly close to Garden of the Gods and Pikes peak and manitou springs. Great memories made during our stay.

Great for large groups

This home is amazing for larger groups, we had a total of 13 people in our group, everyone was able to get their own room. The house itself is beautiful, very clean, beds are comfortable, neighborhood is quiet and nearby many stores. The only thing it’s missing a little more Lightning in the kitchen area, it was very dim.

Roomy house in a quiet location

Overall, the property met our needs. It accommodated 7 people in separate beds and had cooking facilities so we could eat some meals at the house as needed. The beds were comfortable. The only negative on the house is the heat and air system. The thermostat is set in a range that does not allow changes to the temperature. That coupled with poor air distribution to the upstairs caused some guest sleeping on the couch in the basement and required us to open the windows at night to cool off the upstairs. Luckily, the outside temps cooperated and we made it through ok.

Good Family Option

This is a very adequate house for a family gathering. So much room and space for all our tribe. Loved the selection of toys for the kids upstairs as well as the area downstairs that ended up being the chosen dance party locale!It's not a hotel and with a few tweaks (better pots and pan selection & maybe a couple furniture upgrades) would be a five-star location. We reported a couple issues and appreciated Tony's offer to send out his handyman to fix them. Very good responsiveness in all communications. We'll stay here again if we come back to the Springs!

2021 Senior Road Trip

We planned our trip to celebrate our Senior. This location is close to shopping and has a lot of point of interests close by, if you are an adventurous person. The house was well equipped with everday living amenities and the contactless entry was a plus. The owner was readily available by text and addressed every question and concern I had. If traveling with a large group, this will be the place you are looking for. It had beds for every age group, from king to sofa sleepers. Thank you T. for everything.

Nice house deep in a neighborhood

Surprised about backyard curfew. House was in good condition,backyard small and odd drop off between patio and fence. 4 car limit, 2 in garage two in drive good thing we had small cars two larger cars would not fit in garage.

Richard Confused about your 3 Star Fake Review. Why would you be surprised about STR Code Enforcement Neighborhood Quiet time as not to disturb the neighbors living in the homes around us. This is not only common sense, but also in our House Rules that you had to agree too prior to booking and that you Docusign too! Your real complain is that you couldn't park your large trailer in our garage. You forgot you asked me where you could park it, and I gave you several options. Next time please stay at the Broadmoor until you can learn to appreciate a 7 Bdrm/4bath home and not cry about parking more than 5 cars!

Wedding party of 13

The home was set up well with plenty of space to spread out and not be on top of each other. We had an issue with the heat that was quickly resolved by the property owner. The only negatives I have was that the property was not as close to the places described. Also that I wasn’t informed there wasn’t a crib or pack n play when booking due to the age of my grandson. I’m very surprised that a home that sleeps 21 would not have one available

Karen A little confused on your review. All our Listing says is "20 minutes to the interstate & within 5 minutes of dining & entertainment." and that is all true. Also Please make sure you check all the Amenities that a VRBO Home has Prior to booking, so you're not Surprised! As our home doesn't list that we have a crib or PacknPlay. You shouldn't give us a lower rating for your mistakes or misunderstandings!

Great Accommodation for Large Group

The house worked out great for our group of 13 for my son’s USAFA graduation. There was plenty of space to be together and to retreat to a quiet area for rest time. The house was clean and had most of what we needed. We were disappointed about not having a grill. The host said it was damaged by a storm and had to be removed. We also had a couple issues in the basement area with the electricity not working in one bedroom and a musty smell due to water getting in from an open window prior to us arriving. The host offered to have the carpet cleaned but we didn’t think that would help. They were also trying to get an electrician out but that didn’t happen before we left. All in all, I would recommend the place. 7 bedrooms is really nice for a large group.

Great value and location but some safety issues

This home was as pictured and described. The location was good with good restaurants within a 15 minute drive. It served our needs well with a large number of bedrooms and a layout that worked well for our group of 12 adults. I loved that there was good seating for meals. We appreciated the large number of dishware etc. One disadvantage was there was not quite enough attention to the lighting. It seemed like half of the bulbs were burned out or missing. The bigger deal for us was the sheet of ice in the driveway. It is a North facing driveway and neither the driveway nor the sidewalk had been cleared from the previous snow so it felt quite precarious. I requested the driveway to be salted and I did have a good response from the host but it wasn't enough to actually melt the ice. I would recommend checking if you stay in the winter that the driveway and sidewalk will be cleared ahead of time. It was a very good value, money wise though.

Cheri Please next time stay at a Hotel and not at an VRBO Home so all your needs can be met. You can see by our texts we respond very quickly and take care of any issues. We came out and did as much as we could to the driveway with shoveling and salting it. We Can't control the sub-zero temps that weren't allowing it to be thawed and melted quick enough for you! Also you don't mention until your Review anything about light bulbs being out(none of them were missing unless your group took them out) Or we would have come over and replaced them! Hopefully future VRBO Owners will Decline your request to stay in their home until you can appreciate a VRBO Home!

Absolutely NO early check-in. All visitors need pre-approval if not staying in the house. Cameras

Location and house size is great. Absolutely NO earlier check-in. Code to house is given minutes before 4pm. The afternoon of check-in you have to sign document of the house rules before getting the code to house that says visitors who are not staying at the house have to be pre-approved and a list of other things. Also there are cameras on the outside of the house and in the garage. The cleanliness of the house was not the greatest. Basic cleaning was done, but the attention to detail was poor. Dirty light switches, door knobs, baseboards, and walls. Food from previous visitors found around the house. Apple core on bedroom window ledge, drinks and junk in utility closets. The grey couch in living room needed cleaned. This was my first time using Vrbo. I wasn't really impressed with the check-in process especially since I was at the airport and signing house rules documents in order to move on with the check-in. But on the positive the house is spacious and great for a large group.

Autumn Your review is simply because You didn't read & follow the House Rules & Check-in Procedures that were provided prior to booking, then after you booked twice again!! Please next time read the House Rules on VRBO prior to booking a home, or after booking a VRBO when they are provided! Our House Rules clearly state you must sign our House Rules via HelloSign and that you won't get the Door Code & Check-in Procedures until Check-in time. And not only does our House Rules but also Colorado Springs STR Code Enforcement says No Guests or Parties, Events or Gatherings are allowed at an STR!! And yes our Listing Clearly says we have outdoor Cameras for your protection as well as ours.

Not clean

The trash was EXTREMELY full. It was full when we took out the trash the first day. There were some things that's were disappointing like the cleanliness of the home. It's a shame to be charge that high of a cleaning fee when the home is turned over to you like that. Also, listed was Disney plus. That was a bummer because it was advertised but it was not available. Even just to have the app so people can log in to it would be nice. Most of the remotes did not have batteries that worked. Some where missing batteries, and one did not have a back at all. Another thing on the stove the "hot surface " light stays on. The trash can in the kitchen is completely broken off. The grill was disgusting. Not operational and looks as if it has not need cleaned in years. We were there for my mothers funeral and it was nice having the space but we are VERY clean people and with the cleaning fee I feel the house should be turn key

Natalie When you're the only one complaining about this home, You might need to take a look at yourself! The House is very clean as by the A+ Rating we have on VRBO and all booking sites! The TVs are all smart tvs and therefore you can log into any app that you want too. We don't offer Disney+, we do provide Hulu Unlimited with live streaming on all tvs. If a light on the stove that stays on or a remote doesn't have a back on it, makes your stay so terrible, then you should have checked out after the 1st night, not stayed your entire reservation. Yes we have a HOA and a set Trash Day, nothing we can do about that!! Also in our description, it clearly states that we don't Maintain or Provide anything for the Grill. We highly recommend you stay in a Hotel next time, until you can appreciate a VRBO home and how having your family stay under one roof and saving tons of money! Hopefully future VRBO Owners decline your request to book their home to avoid you!

Disappointed

This house was adequate for our family but presented some challenges. One of the bedrooms in the basement had no electricity for three of the four nights we stayed here. We had a licensed electrician in our party who checked the breaker box located in the garage and found all breakers were on. We searched the house for a second breaker box but found none. Found out it was hidden in the basement behind a metal picture. The management did not inform us of this. When I asked for some compensation for three days without power I was told they would refund me $50. I told them I felt $50 a day was acceptable but they said no $50 was all they were willing to do. I do not recommend renting this property. The basement had signs of water damage and smelled of mold. Also several electrical code violations. The shower regulators were difficult to get a comfortable temperature and if more then one person was using water were impossible to regulate. The bedrooms in basement lacked closets and and storage. Also the house lacks enough entertainment/gathering space for the number of people it’s supposed to accommodate. We have rented numerous homes and never had these issues.

Karen Please next time book a hotel instead of a VRBO Residential Home so that you can all have long showers, a entertainment/gathering spaces (I guess our 2 Large Living Rooms and outdoor Area which includes a firepit and turf grass isn't big enough for you). Hopefully future Hosts will deny you booking their home so that they don't have to deal with your nonsense!

So much space.......

We enjoyed using 6 of the bedrooms and spreading out throughout the 3 levels. We had a wedding to attend and it made it easy to ready ourselves. Overall cleanliness was very good. There were plenty of dishes and cups and silverware. There needs to be new skillets to replace the old ones for the stovetop. We did tighten the screws in the bunk bed ladder and cleaned out the shower drain upstairs. We would rent here again but would encourage attentiveness to some of those details. The neighborhood was extremely quiet and we really appreciated that aspect!!! We enjoyed the grocery stores around us and made a trip to Garden of the Gods, Escape Room and Focus on the Family. We rented electric bikes and made our way around the perimeter of the Garden. Thank you for providing a great place for us to spread out and relax in a quiet neighborhood!

Huge house that slept 8 of us, each with our own rooms and plenty of space to visit. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook while home. Quiet neighborhood & easy access to Colorado Sorings USAFA & Garden of the Gods. Property manager responded right away when contacted. Would love to stay again.

Beautiful house in a nice neighborhood, great central location! We had 9 adults and one kid in town for the Fallen Firefighters Memorial and the owners were great to work with and easy communication and check in process, would recommend to anyone!

So much space!

We were in town for a funeral with extended family and this property was perfect for our needs! Every couple had their own bedroom and bathroom, the kids had a room of their own, and we still had a spare. There were several living areas so we could all spread out. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to make a few meals. It was clean and comfortable and the neighborhood was well-kept and quiet. Would definitely stay here again!

Multiple rooms/space for people to spread out, Would stay again!

The first thing that we noticed about this house, is that 7 bedrooms is a lot! It really gives people a chance to have their own private space (unlike a hotel room). The downstairs (basement area is basically an apartment without a kitchen. Would really be nice if sharing the house with another family etc. It has a living room type of area. The main floor is just garage, living room, and kitchen/dining areas. So the upstairs and downstairs have a floor to separate them. We stayed in August, so I can say that, the upstairs was a bit warm, and the downstairs was a little hard to control the temperature. But it was not uncomfortable. Maybe just a little hard to get used to coming from Texas where the AC is always blowing cold! The neighborhood was quiet (found myself whispering in the backyard haha) The evening breeze after about 6PM was amazing. The mornings were cool and crisp. The firepit was nice!

Bigger than it looks

It was perfect for a week long (large) family get together with lots of small kids. Plenty of both sleeping and living space, we spent mornings out and afternoons resting at the property. Really easy check in and check out. We really enjoyed our time there.

I chose this home specifically to accommodate my guests. There is enough space to sleep plenty of Guests comfortably. The home comes fully furnished and has everything you should need including comfy memory foam mattresses in almost every single room. Plus a JACUZZI BATHTUB in basement bathroom to relax in after a long day of sightseeing!

I furnish the bathrooms with towels, and toilet paper as I don't want you to have to worry about the essentials! There is a hair dryer available in the master bathroom and basement bathroom.

The laundry room is fully equipped with washer and dryer, iron and ironing board.

The kitchen is fully stocked with a side by side refrigerator/freezer combo with ice machine, oven with stovetop, microwave, dishwasher (starter detergent included), plates, dishes, silverware, glassware, pots/pans, cooking utensils, toaster, Tupperware, coffee maker, blender and toaster.

Each living room area (4) has an Smart TV that also offers Roku with over 1800+ channels and live tv with the push of a button. The master bedroom has an LCD TV as well as all the bedrooms! The entire home has internet perfect for streaming videos and games or just browsing the web! Also a desk/work space with printer for work travelers.

The huge back patio includes exterior seating, dining table and chairs, fire pit, as well as a BBQ grill and grilling tools provided. Designed to enjoy the outdoors as Colorado Springs has more than 300 sunny days a year!

There is a surveillance system on the property. There are 3 outdoor cameras and also a Ring doorbell on the front door as well as garage.

This home has everything you should need and then some! The only thing that is missing, is YOU!
