The location and amenities are especially fantastic for families with children. 3 bed 3.5 bath sleeps 6. Open concept floor plan with kitchen, dining, and living area open to a screened lower porch and paver patio with gas grill. Fully outfitted kitchen with stainless appliances, Keurig, and Mr. Coffee coffee makers. First-floor oceanfront master suite (KING), stack laundry, and single-car garage. The second floor offers two master suites each with a QUEEN bed. Both guest suites open to the large upper balcony with comfortable outdoor seating with spectacular views of the Atlantic. The second-floor landing area includes a love seat and TV for video game system hookup. Cottage amenities include a portable highchair, pack-n-play, 4 beach chairs, beach towels, boogie boards, sand toys, kayak, paddle board, and two adult and 2 kid bikes. In addition, guests have access to The Cottages at Jekyll Island's million-dollar amenities, which include Clubhouse, zero-entry pool and fitness, beach deck, beach access and a community fire pit. Turtles Nest II is an end unit located adjacent to Turtles Nest I, also an end unit (see Ocean Cottage 120). If you are looking for a multi-family or extended family vacation, these units are a great option to keep your group together.

THE COTTAGES BEACH ACCESS:
The Cottages beach is approximately 2000 linear feet and has a dune area and seawall that runs the length of the Cottages oceanfront property. There are 3 dune crossovers to the sand area landside of the seawall that are always accessible, and that area can be used for recreational purposes. The access to the beach over the seawall is centrally located at the pool & clubhouse. At high tide, the water is at the seawall. The tides change every 6 hours from low to high tide. A tide chart will help you plan your beach time. The nearest beach park with ocean access all day is Oceanview Beach Park, appx 2 miles south just past the Holiday Inn.
