Be A Nomad | 4 Unit Oceanfront Building | Sleeps 26 | Jacksonville Beach

Welcome to Big Blue: The Compound — an oceanfront building with four fully equipped apartments sleeping up to 26 guests. Perfect for multi-family reunions, corporate retreats, or friend groups wanting space to spread out while staying together. All four units included in your booking.

This unique compound offers incredible flexibility with two oceanfront units (sleeps 7-8 each) and two rear units (sleeps 5-6 each). Unit 1 upstairs features three bedrooms with ocean views from multiple rooms. Unit 2 downstairs offers three bedrooms with direct ocean views. Units 3 and 4 provide two bedrooms each with partial ocean views. Every unit has queen beds and bunk configurations — guests use bunk beds at their own risk per our insurance requirements.

Four full kitchens mean no cooking conflicts for large groups preparing meals together. High-speed WiFi (1GB) keeps everyone connected. Washers and dryers in each unit handle the inevitable beach laundry. Smart TVs throughout provide entertainment for all ages. Free parking on-premises accommodates multiple vehicles.

You're just one block from Jacksonville Beach sand and surf. Walk 9 minutes to Mellow Mushroom for craft beer and pizza, or 10 minutes to Salt Life Food Shack for their famous fish tacos. Drive 2 minutes to the iconic Jacksonville Beach Pier for fishing and sunset views, or 3 minutes to Beaches Town Center for shopping and dining.

Keyless entry makes check-in seamless for your group. We provide beach towels, full kitchen supplies, linens, and toiletries. Pet-friendly at $30 per pet per day. Please note ongoing city renovation may cause minor construction noise or temporary road access changes during your stay. This property requires host approval rather than instant booking due to coordination with individual unit listings.

A refundable security deposit or optional damage waiver may be required. Guests will be given the option to choose between a refundable security deposit or a non-refundable damage waiver prior to check-in.

Perfect Location

Six different families stayed at this property; renting out the entire building. Everyone truly enjoyed themselves and were more than pleased with the amenities and the location. Could not have asked for a better trip. Would absolutely go back.

Family Reunion

The property had sleeping arrangements for 26 people without any bunk beds. We are all adults and needed real beds. That makes this property a rare find. Great location on the beach. Each apartment was well appointed. It suited us with each family group having its own place to sleep. While it lacked a large living room, we had everyone in the kitchen, dining and living rooms comfortably. We plan on coming back for the next reunion

Family vacation

Our family spent a great week here! We have several young families in our group. The set up of this vacation home allowed us to spend time together and still have our privacy. The best of both worlds!!

Excellent Beach House Property

My family and I stayed in 4 of the units on this property. It was very clean with plenty of room to enjoy yourself and not being cramped. It was a few steps to the beach which was a very clean and uncrowded beach. The grandkids and adults loved being able to go to the beach whenever they could. Water pressure was a little low in the showers but we dealt with it. Two of the dryers did not work but discovered they had a lot of sand in them which kept them from functioning. The units do have automatic ice makers however 2 of ours did not work. We just bought ice and put in the freezer. Nice appliances. This really was the perfect vacation property for our family vacation.

March Wedding

It is gorgeous property, very close to local shops and walking distance from the the shore. My wedding was beautiful and it wouldn’t have happened without the use of this property. I would definitely recommend it and rent it again!!! The owners communicated efficiently throughout the whole process and stay!!

Best part of our trip!

Beautiful property. Incredible views. Wonderfully furnished. We took our team here so we didn’t have to have multiple hotel rooms. We could be together, retreat to our units, and cooked wonderful team meals with the four wonderfully furnished kitchens. Hosts were always kind and responsive. One of our coaches already plans to return with his family for vacation. Worth the extra drive from our tournament so we could be together. Short drive to grocery. Walkable to restaurants and gas stations. If you have a big group, don’t hesitate!

This place was perfect for our large group

We had multiple families with us and lots of teenagers and this place allowed us to be together but then also find some time alone with our families. We had 9 adults and 11 teenagers, I believe, and everyone had a bed or doubled-up with someone comfortably with zero complaints. The beach can’t get much closer and just about anything you need is within a short driving distance. And parking, with all these folks, was a nonissue. If I do something this big for GA/FL again, this will be the first place I look to book!

Cousins Annual Trip

My female cousins celebrated our 5th annual trip and we had a great time. House well stocked. One caution; many of the beds are platform beds on the floor with a bunk bed over them; this was not satisfactory for my group where the average age was 55+. That is not clear in the bedroom description. Jared was very responsive to our requests.

Amazing Stay

We rented the entire condo - all 4 units and could not have asked for a better property. The beds are super comfortable, the house is well stocked, very clean and has all of the amenities you could ask for. The views from the top floor are amazing!!

A great stay for family and friends

We rented the entire place for two nights to house our family, friends and bridal party for our vows on the beach!! Everyone couldn’t stop talking about how awesome this place was! The stay couldn’t have been more perfect! Each unit was extremely spacious and impressive with its modern feel, views, and amenities! The owners were very responsive before and during our stay! Highly recommend this stay!
