You get this entire cozy and solid hurricane proof home on 1+ private acres. It's free of crowds, crime and traffic and close to all activities Crystal River area is famous for. Just bring your toothbrush; and boat if you wish. This Homestead is blessed with clean fresh air from an abundance of Oaks, Palms, and Gulf breezes. Big windows and doors allows one to open up and live with nature making friends with the birds and Florida naturals. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner. Short drive to hospital, Walmart, shopping, lakes, rivers, and Gulf of Mexico boat ramps.

Quiet and comfortable

We enjoyed so much the quiet surroundings at this property. It was very clean and roomy. We had no problems with our stay. The property met our expectations and more. Nice location to be able to explore and experience the nature coast of Florida. When we come visit this area we will definitely stay here.

Post Cancer Relaxation Trip

Our Florida trip to Crystal River was just what the doctor ordered after months of dealing with cancer. After my girlfriend was declared cancer free after several months of chemo and surgery, we were looking forward to getting away and our stay in Crystal River was just what we were looking for. It was so nice to find a place to rest and relax like we were at home, because we were, the Taylors made us feel like we were home. The home itself sits in a quiet wooded lot that creates plenty of shade which was very much appreciated on warm Florida days. The location was excellent located only minutes from Crystal River and Dunnellon and Rainbow Springs state park and the Rainbow river. We also brought our motorcycle and having a place to put it into a garage and not having to worry about it at night was very valuable to us. Overall this trip was exactly what we looking for. Feeling like we were at home, while still being close enough to get out and do the vacation thing.😎🏖 Thanks Chunfen Taylor

Lovely home

Owners are onsite and often checking in on you to see if you need anything, but you can still relax and have your privacy. You go through a security gate up a long driveway to the house which is back up on a hill overlooking a gorgeous preserve. House is clean and spacious with everything you need. Everything is big: the tv, the couch, the rooms. You get one bedroom with one bed on one side and an office and laundry room on the other. There is a full size kitchen. You get two bathrooms and there is a garage, but you need to park your vehicle outside under covered parking. Behind a security gate it should be safe. You feel safe here. Thermostat is in a lockbox and the preference is to leave windows/doors open, but you can work out an agreement with the owner on a desired temperature. Outside on the back porch you can sit in comfy chairs and watch the egrets and tortoises enjoy themselves in beautiful surroundings. Chunfen is a lovely, hard-working,and gracious host who makes weary travelers feel relaxed and comfortable and welcome when they check in (and she makes delicious dumplings!) After an extra stressful year including loss of loved ones and selling our home, we needed a reasonably priced long term rental while looking for a new home, and this was exactly what we needed.

Really nice and comfortable

I really enjoyed my stay. I did have trouble with the wifi, but i was on vacation and away from technology so i didnt really say anything about the lack of working wifi. I loved the location and have every intention of visiting again.

Mr Taylor is a Senior Nuclear Power Industry Engineer and US Navy Veteran accomplished and very handy in all matters of property care and security. Ms Taylor is a Certified Nursing Assistant who makes incredible dumplings and fried rice and could probably be the happiest most generous person you will ever meet.

Heaven on earth is a simple uncluttered life and a breath of fresh air. A place to feel secure and free to observe the little things going on around you; especially Seasonal activities, like turtles coming up from the pond towards the porch at the French Doors to lay their eggs, and how about the urge to protect the Turtle eggs from Crows waiting in haste to raid the nest, and nightly racoon visitors looking for a free meal. Looking west out the back French doors is a 6 acre pond, south 10 acres is vacant wild Florida woodlands, to the east have 5 and 5 acres neighbors, and the Owners to the north on 2 acres. So near to Nature and shopping convenience, yet so far from disarray (if one chooses the right TV channels).
