Overlook the surf and sand from this one-bedroom, one-and-a-half-bathroom, oceanfront penthouse condo! Just steps to Sea Colony's half-mile of private beach and oceanfront pools, this single-level, ninth-floor resort retreat features a living and dining area, a well-equipped kitchen, a full hallway bathroom, and a bedroom with a private half-bathroom of its own.

You'll have access to the owner's beach locker too! Accessible without stairs, this condo offers central air-conditioning, a washer/dryer, one reserved space, two TVs, two DVD players, and free WiFi. (The fireplace is not available for guest use.)

Enjoy access to a private guarded beach, ten outdoor pools, two indoor pools, a championship tennis center, a fitness center, a basketball court, a boardwalk, tax-free shopping, amusement parks, water parks, mini-golf, two public/private golf courses nearby, a movie theater, and fun activities like fishing, kayaking, and surfing. As much as I hate to say it, this was a terrible experience. There was a pungent stench coming from the bedroom of the condo. It was unusable. I slept on the sofa for my brief stay. The odor drove me out after only 4 nights. I was SO disappointed. GOOD THINGS: View, kitchen was well equipped and the shower head was nice.NOT SO GOOD THINGS: The smell. Broken toilet paper roll holder in the master bath. Mildew on the grout in the shower. Mold on the shower curtain. Curtain rod in bedroom was an old mop handle, no room in closet to hang clothes, but I wouldn't recommend setting foot in the bedroom because of the odor. Stains on the bedspread, although I wouldn't suggest sleeping in there unless you want to get sick, Old damaged furniture, lights in both bathrooms stopped working on the last night which was really the last straw. I left Wednesday morning, 3 days early because of the smell...Oh, and all the TV remotes were sticky...EWWWW!I'm still waiting for the VACASA people to come up with my refund, although I will say they've been very apologetic and communicative. I hope it continues! VRBO passed me off to VACASA, I have yet to hear back from them.

It was ok

Nice place just needs to be cleaned better. There is old behind the couch at the kitchen wall, big dust fuzz under the couch and bed, and the bathroom sink vent hole is completely closed. I liked the place and area, just needs cleaned.

Great single room unit - could use some updates

This was a great unit for my family of 3. Could be some updates to the bathrooms and maybe some fixing of the corner of the ceiling by the door, but overall it was great for our week at Sea Colony. Headboard of the (very comfortable) bed had a thick layer of dust on it, but it was a pretty clean unit. My daughter slept on the couch and was very comfortable. There could be better window dressing on the balcony windows for sleeping in the room, though. The light really came through the sheer drapes at night. Would recommend for a small family.

Nice place for our weekend getaway

Stayed here over Easter weekend. Very nice view from the balcony and condo itself was clean and well-appointed. My only complaint was that there was a free standing fireplace with a raised concrete floor around it. There was no molding around it so it was very easy to stub your toe against the concrete, Except for that, a comfortable place and it's nice to take advantage of all the amenities that Sea Colony has to offer.

Great view of the ocean, but need some improvement

Immediately upon arrival, I noticed the smoky smell in the master bedroom and half bathroom. Being highly allergic to secondhand smoke it was extremely offputting cleaning staff did come very quickly to try and assist with diminishing the smell, but it was still there also, it would probably be easier if Wi-Fi sign-on was provided on a card versus on the television. We had difficulty accessing it at all.

Update Bathrooms

We enjoyed our 2nd stay at Sea Colony. Positives: overall clean, washer/dryer great, fridge spotless. Bed was awesome. Great view from 9th floor. Negatives: toaster and toaster oven filled with crumbs, bathroom fan did not work, bathroom is very shoddy with rusted door hinges, scraped paint, mildewed caulking. We will return, but not to this unit.

Nice weekend getaway

This was a good location for my husband and me to get away for a weekend. The apartment had the basics and good location but the best part was the view of the ocean. The building is showing it’s age and the apartment could use a deep clean and minor fixes-cobwebs, torn carpet, drywall cracking, broken blinds. Overall we enjoyed it but not sure we’d come back to this same apartment.

Good stay

Location and ease of access to the beach were great. I recommend that the property management team look into a new cleaning business. When we arrived, it was obvious a thorough cleaning had not been performed. There was the previous renters soap with hair on it still in the shower, the floors were not cleaned, the couch had crumbs dirt and other peoples hair. The most noticeable was the used towel still from the previous renter still hanging on the back of the door meaning the cleaning group had a minimal level of effort when looking for what to clean.

Beautiful view and great location! Dryer was was broken and the beach locker was locked with no code left. We called Vacasa office and no follow up, no use of beach locker. Listing needs updated
