Ponte Vedra Wilderness Oasis minutes from TPC and the beach

Our home is located on 2.4 acres in Palm Valley, Florida. We have 2 homes that share this amazing property. The two homes are divided by a privacy fence, so each home has privacy. This home has a nice pool that is only available to our guests. We are in a very nice rural setting in the heart of Ponte Vedra and you access the property down a long crush-crete rock driveway. There are woods surrounding us and you may even see and hear birds, owls and hawks. There are 4 TVS with access to internet, board games, and a desk space to work. We have a full kitchen with anything you would need to create a perfect meal (less the food). There are two large porches to sit and think, drink coffee and just enjoy the peace and serenity. Enjoy the fire pit at night while roasting marsh mellows. Go play during the day and come back to a relaxing evening at the Oasis. Take a shower outdoors before heading in to relax. The space is meant for a relaxing time and family oriented time. It is not meant for the party scene. We do not want to disturb the neighbors even though they are not all that close. Enjoy a spa like bath or shower in the upstairs master bathroom. You will think you are at the spa. Sit and read in one of the many quiet spaces. Enjoy the upstairs screened in porch area. Bring your boat and fishing gear so you can go fishing and see all the beauty on the water in this area.

POOL IS FOR THIS UNIT ONLY

SPA IS HEAT CAPABLE. THERE IS A FEE FOR HEATING THE SPA. Prior to your stay, upon check-in, or at any time during your stay, if you would like spa to be heated, please notify your host. During the winter months, we encourage you to tell us ahead of time if you wanted the spa heated so we can prepare in advance.
The fee is $75 for the spa to be heated. You can pay through the booking platform. If you are staying monthly, the fee is $125 per month.
At the time of payment your host will enable the heat pump remotely and it will be ready to use. The spa heats up to a maximum of 103 degrees.

SECURITY

There is a ring camera at the entry area. If you need immediate help, you can call the host directly or push the ring device to reach us. There are also ring camera flood lights for security. If you need anything at all, don't hesitate to reach out to us. The entire property including the POOL is covered by these security cameras. They are motion controlled.

The property is absolutely beautiful and fit perfectly for our family of 6. I really appreciated the family friendliness of the house. It’s simple so I didn’t have to worry about my energetic kiddos breaking anything delicate, it was spacious so we didn’t feel crowded, and they fully stocked the whole house so there wasn’t a need for anything! The hosts are great and communicate very efficiently.

The place was fantastic. A beautiful home which was great for our family: husband and I, our daughter and her partner. We gave them the entire upstairs, which had a wonderful bathroom with jetted rub and shower, and there was a mini-fridge and coffee maker. (Nice! The girls loved it!) Hubby and I loved the open floor plan. There were really nice touches: labels on all the light switches, a how-to next to the thermostat, tons of towels for the pool, even bug spray. It was a great trip and a wonderful getaway. The hosts were very communicative, and they even left a check in/out notebook with further FAQs about the property, as well as instructions that made it easy for us to be great tenant. It was terrific.

We had a wonderful time staying at Wilderness Oasis. Driving into the property does not do it justice---the home is so private and peaceful. The home is well equipped for a close family gathering with a stocked kitchen, pool and beach goodies, even a cooler for your use. There are a few quirks in the home, like an completely open floorplan on the 2nd floor (including the bathroom), but it would be fun for a large family to spend time there. We had a few bumps in our visit, but the host Kim was great with communicating with us and addressing all issues. I loved being able to escape to the Spanish-moss draped back yard away from the hustle and bustle of the beach. Highly recommend.

Great stay!

We stayed at this beautiful property for a long weekend. The house and grounds are well-kept, and the host thinks of the little things that made our stay very enjoyable. The only thing keeping this stay from five stars is the water in the house, which has a strong sulfuric smell to it. This may be common for this area - not sure. The pool and yard were the perfect private oasis. I highly recommend this property!

Spring Break 2025

Our family had an amazing stay at Wilderness Oasis. The outdoor area was fantastic, one of the best we have stayed at. Our kids enjoyed hours of swimming in the pool and hot tub and we were even able to enjoy a couple of fires in the fire pit. The location was great. The area was very quiet and private but close to the beach and some great restaurants. The house was well stocked and communication from the owners was top notch. If we come back to the Jacksonville area, this house will be at the top of our list. Thank you for a great stay. The Steinerts.

Nice, private oasis!

We loved the area of this property --- restaurants, shopping, and groceries within a 10-minute drive. The outside space is lovely and the kitchen is very well-stocked. Kim was very responsive and a pleasure to work with! I would highly recommend this property. :)

Great Place to stay

Kim was a wonderful Host. We have used VRBO since the late 80's and Kim was one of the top host we have had. The house was stocked with much more than you can imagine. They were thoughtful in so many ways, like extra water, lots of games and pool accessories. They even had towels for make up removal, cups for mouth wash, the kitchen was so fully stocked you felt you were in your own home. The air-conditioned was amazing with the hot humid climate. Bed was very comfortable and we specially look for comfortable furniture and the wilderness oasis has very comfortable furniture. We will defiantly stay here again and it is highly recommended by us if you want a comfortable, fun, quiet and easy accesses to all place and most importantly a host (Kim) that response fast and there to help in any way. Than you Kim for a great stay! Tony and Penny W

An Honest Review...

In an effort to just provide facts, I won't provide much commentary. PROS: Kim is a wonderful host who is welcoming and very quick to respond to questions/issues. This home is beautifully laid out and there is lots of space both indoors and outdoors. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you could possibly need to prepare your own food. The coffee and tea pods as well as all of the spices and condiments provided were a very nice touch. The spa-like master bathroom shower is HUGE and we loved it. Roughly 5-10 minutes from town, but far enough to feel remote. The water softener system was wonderful for showering! CONS: There was a bit of a roach infestation in the kitchen. The exterminator came out a few days after we reported it, but the issue had. not be remedied by the time we left. The fire pit area is pitch dark at night and the sound of the coyotes howling was enough to cut our s'mores making short. The floors were definitely in need of a very deep cleaning, so we wore shoes the entire time inside the house. Most of the bath towels provided smelled moldy so we had to re-wash them all before being able to use them. (It helped a bit, but we could still smell it.) The larger of the 2 microwaves was inoperable. There was nothing whatsoever for us to do in the Ponte Vedra area. (This is totally subjective.)

20th Anniversary Weekend Getaway

We had a wonderful experience at the Oasis. The host was amazing with communications and the place was absolutely lovely. It was a nice peaceful weekend, just what we were hoping for. I'd 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. The house was beautiful and fully stocked with everything you'd need and then some. PS..... the Butcher shop in town has AMAZING BURGERS..... we stopped and got extra to bring home. PERFECT PLACE AND A PERFECT HOST 💯💯💯

Remarkable getaway

We had an amazing time. Kim was a wonderful host. The house was so clean and organized. The kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms and outside by the pool was stacked and filled with everything you needed for a perfect relaxing getaway. We will be back next year. Everything was wonderful!!

We stayed at Wilderness Oasis for 10 weeks as a winter getaway. Everything was wonderful! House is immaculate, extremely comfortable and well stocked. Beds are comfortable with lots of extra blankets and towels. The bathrooms are roomy and clean - everything works as it should. Kitchen is well laid out and well stocked. Ice maker makes lots of ice for chilling drinks for the beach. Couches are comfortable and we watched lots of sports and moves on the large and clear tv. Outside, the pool area is beautiful. The house is set back from the street so there is no vehicle noise or danger and everything is very peaceful. The neighborhood is very quiet. We enjoyed the pool and spa. Mature trees provided shade and we saw eagles, herons, fork tailed kites and lots of other birds flying overhead every day. There is a shaded seating area under the upper balcony that provides shade from sun or rain where we had breakfast many days. Also lots of beach towels and chairs. We had our dogs with us and the fenced yard was perfect for them! The location is great - it really does feel like an oasis after being at the beach or playing golf or going to St Augustine. It’s so convenient to many restaurants, supermarkets, the YMCA, the intracoastal waterway and of course the beach. We felt like everything we needed was at most 10 minutes away yet we felt we were away from it all when we came back to the house. Kim, the owner, was great to work with. Very attentive and made sure the pool was serviced and the trash taken out to the street weekly. We would (and hope to) come back again!

Convenient Location; very comfortable inside

Arrangements and communication with Kim were outstanding. Very professional management and very quick to respond to questions. We stayed for 4 night while visiting family for Thanksgiving. The house is lovely inside… very comfortable family room and kitchen on ground floor which open to the backyard/pool area. Upstairs master suite is very large…shower was large enough for 6 people (but it was just the 2 of us). The house was very clean with the exception of the floors. Our bare feet got pretty dirty just walking around the house. Suggestion: instead of just sweeping/vacuuming, a wet mop would do the trick. The driveway into the property is a little funky - about a 1/4 mile unpaved. The neighborhood seems to be in transition with some lovely new custom homes and some not-so-nice homes that will likely be rebuilt at some point. We didn’t use the pool/spa but if the weather was better and we had the grandchildren it would have been a great place to hang out. The other 3 sides of the house are a little stark and unappealing…needs some nice landscaping to spruce things up a little. Bottom line: for us it was a very good place to stay for the money…certainly better than paying 600+ per night for a hotel room. Lots of privacy, comfy and cozy inside. We would be happy to stay again next time we visit.

Very Relaxing

We enjoyed our stay at Wilderness Oasis this past week. Very clean and comfortable furniture throughout. We had a few hiccups in the beginning that were fixed easily. Kim was so kind and easy to work with. Even got good recommendations for dinner on hubby's birthday. The pool was so relaxing and quiet. Kitchen was well equipped. Overall a great vacation.

Eautiful and relaxing

This was an amazing vacation! The home and surroundings are stunning. You definitely feel like you are in an oasis from the moment you arrive. There is a gorgeous tree in the back yard that exudes everything beautiful about nature. The pool and spa were a great, quiet place to relax. The house was spacious and very clean. We only had 4 people but could have had a few more and it still would have felt as though everyone has their own space. Kim was delightful and very quick in her responses when I had questions before and during our stay. We will definitely be back! And would recommend this home from friends, to couples, to families!

Good location and pool was great.

Very organized property with instruction on things you needed assistance with like light switches, multiple shower heads in shower, and check in and out requirements. All shopping for groceries very close and easy to access places like V Pizza, Valley Smoke(wonderful food), and Panera’s.
