Jenness Beach Ocean Getaway - Book Now for Summer '26!

This amazing house in Rye Beach allows you to smell the ocean air and hear the waves crashing while you sleep at night. This first floor luxurious two bedroom one bathroom 1345 sq. ft. unit is just a few hundred feet from Jenness state beach, local restaurants, general stores, a yoga studio and surfing shops where you can rent surfboards and get lessons.

Spacious layout with open concept island kitchen, dining and living room with wood burning brick fireplace, full sized washer and dryer and central air conditioning. A comfortable 3-season sun room with wicker furniture has direct access to a private exterior deck with teak furniture, beautiful flowers and a gas Weber grill. This home also features a "beach bathroom" located off the two car garage so you can rinse the sand off before you head inside. It also has ample garage and driveway parking for 3-4 cars. Escape to this perfect location to relax and recharge.

Only a short 15 minute drive to downtown Portsmouth, Hampton or Kittery Maine. Public golf course, New England's largest water park, York's Wild Kingdom, whale watching, charter fishing, Seacoast Science Center, many restaurants including the best lobster rolls/seafood, ice cream shops, shopping and much more are all close by. This is your chance to rent a meticulously kept home in the exclusive Jenness Beach area of Rye!

Such a wonderful experience! We truly enjoyed our stay at the convent, clean and “homey” Jenness Beach Getaway! Julie and Allen were great to deal with. The close proximity to the beach was a huge plus for us. We certainly hope to stay again next summer.

Perfect Location and Immaculate Home on Jenness Beach!

Everything about our stay in Rye was wonderful. Julie and Allen are phenomenal hosts, and the property itself exceeded our expectations. We felt truly at home as we made our morning coffee run to Common Roots, walked steps across the street to Jenness Beach, and cooked out on the patio in the evenings with family. The home was immaculately clean and fully stocked with beach essentials, including a wagon, chairs, umbrellas and toys. Julie and Allen have thought of everything and we can’t recommend this location highly enough. We are already looking forward to being back next year!

Summer Vacation

Our family enjoyed a week of sun, surf, sand, and food. Our stay was everything we had hoped for and more. Our hosts were kind and eager to help answer any questions we may have had. We highly recommend staying here. We give it a A++ rating.

Amazing stay

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful house. The house was exceptionally clean, very functional, and at a short walking distance from the beach. The owners were very kind and friendly and they were easy to communicate with. We are looking forward to go again next year!

August 2022 Beach Stay

This property is amazing. It far exceeded our expectations . Julie and Allen are lovely hosts . We felt the stress melt away as soon as we checked in. Property is immaculate and well stocked. Very close to the beach but off the main road. My Grandson loved playing in the yard and meeting Bricco. We look forward to returning.

Quick walk to the beach - what a great location and an amazing property. So nice enjoying time with family and friends on the deck. Julie and Allen are wonderful hosts and provide everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. This is my second year here and I plan on coming back again!

Loved our stay at Rye Beach

Julie, Allen and Bricco are very friendly and extremely helpful. We felt at home right away. The home is beautiful and well kept. We had everything we needed to prepare meals. We especially liked the island in the kitchen! The house is located in a beautiful neighborhood. Landscaping was gorgeous and large yard for our 2 dogs to walk. Wonderful deck with gate so that we all could sit outside without worrying about our dogs. The home is a very short walk to beach. We really enjoyed our early morning, and sunset walks on the beach. We absolutely loved everything about our stay at Rye beach. A special thank you to Julie for helping us with our Chester, words cannot express our appreciation. Your caring and kind words touched our hearts. We will definitely be in contact to plan our trip for next year.

Great Location & You Can Bring Your Dog (s)

Location - minutes to the beach entry point. The property is exactly as you see in the photos. In excellent condition with calming colors and beach decor. The three season porch is a bonus room. Everything you need for a beach vacation is there. We worked during the day and played off hours - infrastructure is there if you want to do a workation. Looking to return for two weeks next time.

Julie was raised north of Boston, attended college in central PA and now lives with her husband, 2 year old son and friendly chocolate lab in Winchester, MA. She spent more than a decade managing large apartment communities in and around the Boston area. About ten years ago, she left the corporate world and purchased some apartments with Allen. They have a very hands on approach and will always be there if you need anything. They are meticulous and will work hard to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible. Allen, Julie, their 2 year old son, Tyler, and their 12 year old chocolate lab, Bricco, will be living in the upstairs unit in the summer and will be very accessible hosts.

Julie has been coming to Rye for her entire life during the summers and it has a big place in her heart. The seaside town offers charming homes, beautiful sandy and walkable beaches, tasty seafood and plenty of coastal fun which will have you falling in love with the area as soon as you arrive as well. Together with her husband, Allen, they purchased this home and they couldn't be more excited to have this little piece of heaven to share with all of you!
