LOCATION!!! Due to the hurricane, the grounds are still under construction, no tennis courts, pools are open, beach and restaurants are open. The condo is priced accordingly.
10th floor 1005 unit, best views in Bonita beach and tennis club, over docs beach house, watch the sunset, see the lights on Sanibel or just people watch. The condo is decorated in a tropical sea turtle theme, with an electric thermostat controlled fire place, wall mounted t/v and wifi. There are beach chairs, towels, coolers and an umbrella for beach going. Restaurants, pools, bbq grills, tennis, bocce, basketball etc. all within walking distance. No need for a car, local trolley runs n to fort Myers beach and to local grocery stores and restaurants. the unit is no smoking.

Only drawback was the construction early in the morning. Being a prior resident of Florida. Understand why they do work so very early. A Special THANK YOU TO OUR HOST!! Our flight was cancelled and he let us stay one more day!!!

Great view

Great location, great few, walking distance to the beach to doc's Beach House. Close enough to all the beaches and everywhere I wanted to go. I would recommend and have recommended this property for anyone who wants to get away for a week or so and have peace and quiet.

Best ocean and beach view in the west coast.

We enjoy daily beach views and sunsets as never before. We enjoyed the apartment, the whole place, the showers and the walking to the beach every day. We had a great and relaxing long weekend.

Lovely and Priced Well

This beautiful Gulf-side condo is in a complex that is under construction, which explains the excellent price. If you're willing to accept some inconveniences caused by the construction, the condo itself is beautiful. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the screened-in balcony overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. The host is very accessible and pleasant to work with.

What a beautiful daily view

Was hit by a hurricane, pool was not usable but the beach is right across the street. Had some problems with an appliance but the host took care of it immediately. The beds and pillows were a bit hard for us but we made due. Overall it was OK.

Ideal Location. Post Hurricane Improvements Still Occurring

Scheduling two months ago for a beach location during Spring Break, we were happy to find this penthouse Bonita Springs efficency unit. Booking this unit is all about the view and location and less about the amenities. Literally across the street from the beach and walking distance to two restaurants. The unit is in need of alot of up grades but the beds were comfortable with a retractable accordian wall to separate the sleeping area from the sitting area. Unit came with the basic necessities although outdated. The provided beach chairs were usable but the chairs are old starting to rust out. The elevator was ready to use with barely any waiting going up and down. We really enjoyed the balcony view and the amazing sunsets. People we encountered were very friendly and the host was quick to respond to any texts.

Didn't quite meet our expectations

The location of the property is fine - across a very busy street from a beach which quickly became crowded by mid-day. What I disliked was the fact that the beds were extremely uncomfortable and there was construction ongoing during our entire stay (of which I was unaware). Returning to the area in a few months, but not booking at this location.

Very bad experience

Upon arrival we realized the building was being remodeled with noises from outside during the day. On the half of the week out balcony was completely closed, no having access to it or the wiew (the main reason of renting this place). The noises fron the drilling and workers walking outside from 8:00 am and during nap time were terrible, not being able to rest AT ALL. NOT RECOMMENDED. It seems like the remodeling process is going to take a few more weeks.

Not happy. The balcony was not available for use. The kithen faucet was super loose, The tub was unsafe, no bathmat or protection from slipping, the tub drain is clogged only one handle was there (regular door handle) the other was not there (the holes were). Kitchen cabinet had to be pushed shut. The lock box could not be closed to return the key. This place needs a major update. Would have been better to just stay in Hotel. Very disappointed.

Would stay again

First of, the condo is still under construction as stated by owner. The pool is not operable and not sure about the other amenities which i did not use. When I first arrived getting in was a bit confusing since the parkings main entrance for our building was closed due to construction. The only entrance was down by the first 5500 building and Bonita beach road street which was a long way around but not too bad. Apartment is a bit old but very nicely decorated can’t really complain for the price. Construction was a bit noisy but also not too bad. They do start around 8am so if you’re planning on sleeping in not a very good place for you. I was always up way before that to make the most of my day. The beds are comfortable but there are only two full beds which didn’t make much sense to me. I stayed with my husband and we were both sleeping a bit crammed. The ocean view on the balcony is beautiful and overlooks the whole Bonita beach. Communication with the owner was great and he replies pretty quick. Overall if I had a nice stay and I would definitely stay here again due to it’s great location and price.

All about the view

I rented this property for a quick long weekend getaway. The property is exactly as pictured and very clean. You are across the street from the beach, but you really do need a car to get to restaurants or shopping. The view alone was worth the price!

Perfect Location

We really enjoyed our stay at Ken's place. This condo unit is in the best location of the entire Bonitia Beach and Tennis property. The beds and couch were not very comfortable - other than that I give this property 5 stars!

The view and sunsets are to die for!!!

Construction wakes you up but they don't start too early. The little cafe is convenient but not open very often. Nice location. Overall very good
