Nueva cabaña encantada con techos estilo catedral de madera machihembrada, pisos de madera blanca, baños de mármol y azulejos, electrodomésticos nuevos que incluyen lavadora, secadora, lavaplatos y microondas ubicados en dos acres de hermosos jardines en la playa. Grandes puertas corredizas de vidrio para disfrutar de la vista de los jardines. Koi estanques con cascadas, muchos árboles frutales y cítricos diferentes. The cottage was immaculate. Perfect location to enjoy the Gulf in privacy. Could fish, sun on beach or sit by the pool. Have been here 3 times in past 4 years and hope to return.

Great location

This was such a lovely cottage. Pool was very nice and private and we enjoyed spending most days on the private beach enjoying the views or fishing. The property owners were so very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our week here!

A true gem! The private beach and gorgeous pool made for a perfect vacation.

Great experience. Pics and descriptions while accurate aren’t able to depict the luxury of having the ocean as your front yard, particularly when you aren’t having to share it with the masses. Sunsets were spectacular. Looking forward to coming back.

Absolutely outstanding destination.

Ilene and Al's property on Siesta Key was the PERFECT getaway from a long Vermont winter. The guest quarters is located just behind the main residence and only steps from their private beach where we enjoyed the SPECTACULAR sunsets every evening that Siesta Key is known for. A quick 1.5 mile drive to the main beach allowed us to walk miles every morning as each day began. The guest quarters located adjacent to a totally private pool is the perfect couples retreat. Would HIGHLY recommend this destination property.

Paradise in Siesta Key!

Me, my husband, and our two dogs absolutely loved our week long stay at the cottage. Everything was perfect and far exceeded our expectations and the cottage was equipped with everything we could have needed. We enjoyed having the private pool and beach access, watching the beautiful sunsets each night, and strolling through the garden. We are grateful to have found this slice of paradise in Siesta Key and look forward to the day we can come back!

Amazing location

Perfect place for siesta key beaches and all siesta key offers. Has private gulf access and as the tide goes out, there is a sandy beach, so don’t need to go anywhere if you don’t want to! Beautiful grounds and private pool and the cottage is wonderful with everything you need. The bed was also comfortable, which is important 😊 Blessed place to be able to share! Thanks for sharing!

Magical oceanside getaway!

My husband & I spent a week here in October and savored every minute. This is a peaceful oasis with a beautiful pool, gorgeous greenery & flowers, and the BEST private beach full of unique shells, crystal clear water, dolphins, manatee & spectacular sunsets. The house is exactly as advertised and the owners are welcoming & friendly. It's an easy drive from Atlanta and we're already planning a return trip. Highly recommend!

Lovely property. Loved sitting at Gulf edge private beach with our small dog & friends! Seeing the sun dip into the Gulf at night was spectacular. Good dining very close! Ilene was close by to answer questions & was super helpful. Would go back. 💗

Couple getaway

The cottage was immaculately clean, comfortably furnished and well equipped. We loved the beach area and the spectacular sunsets. The pool which was surrounded by lush plants was a delight as was just relaxing with a book and enjoying the views. The earlier concerns we read about have all been addressed. There are shutters or drapes on all windows and doors for complete privacy. And the Mirmans are absolutely delightful hosts! Hoping we'll have an opportunity for another visit to this "Enchanted Cottage".

Siesta Key trip

The property and location were not what we expected. The Cottage was quaint but very small and access to the beach was across the owner’s property with a small beach area. Overall area was residential and very congested. Due to terrible rains and flooding of the our area, we checked out 3 days early with no return of any portion of the payment and we had to pay for a separate condo in another location. We found the owner to be very nice and interesting.

Vacation

Pictures of the property needed updating, landscaping was not as pictured. The landscaping was cluttered, mostly from plants that were plotted and extra plant pots that were not maintained. All this was encroaching on the pool area. The water pond was not in operation and had stagnant water. The pool was clean, the beach area was great, the cottage was very nice and clean. The property owners were very cordial and pleasant, easy to enact with.

A Nice Place

On an overall basis, we had a great time. A few things that bothered me. The cottage was much smaller than the pictures made it out to be. The refrigerator was not a full one. I had to go shopping every day and on top of that, it did not keep items cold enough. Items were barely chilled. Ice trays had to be filled as you used them The one big thing for me was lack of closet space. A small space to hang clothes and no drawer space. Living out of a suitcase for a week was not expected. The nice things were the pool and the gardens. Very, very nice. The beach was behind the big house so no beach views. Which I thought we had. Siesta Key is a wonderful place to vacation. The beaches were great, the restaurants were wonderful and don't miss going to St. Armands Circle for shopping.

The reviewer admits to having a great time. What they didn't say was the cottage was very clean and smelled very new. We have always stated that you view the Koi ponds, the swimming pool and the exotic gardens from the cottage. The refrigerator and freezer has always proven more than adequate; the renters turned the temperature dial the wrong way. We have had renters live in the cottage for up to 6 months, and they have always said the closets were fine. We never had anyone complain about the size of the closet or storage. All our quests have commented that the pictures understate the beauty and luxury of the cottage and they enjoyed the private beach, swimming pool and swimming with the Manatees and Porpoises. Most of our guests plan to return the following year.

Amazing place for some rest and relaxation

My fiancé and I and our two doggies had the most relaxing time staying at this amazing vrbo. I don’t think we could have asked for a better place. This beach cottage was clean and just steps away from the property’s own private pool and beach. There were beautiful tropical plants that surrounded the property. It kind of felt like Hawaii with the hot humid weather and all of the beautiful plants and coconut trees. It was very quiet in the cottage and around the property. This cozy cottage had cute thoughtful touches. Even it’s own little library of books if you forgot to bring one and a binder with suggestions of nearby restaurants to visit. The bathroom shower was so unique and nicely designed to where you didn’t even need a shower door or curtain when you showered. The water was nice and hot every time we showered and the bed was very comfortable. The AC felt wonderful after being outside for a long time. The ocean water was so warm and clear and the sunsets were so stunning. Our dogs had so much fun swimming in the ocean. We even swam with some manatees which was such an incredible experience to see. They were sweet and gentle and never bothered us. We were the only ones enjoying the beach during our week long stay. We walked the beach every day and even collected some beautiful seashells to remember our trip. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property with us. It was just what we needed. We hope to visit again!

SECRET PARADISE

This enchanted cottage is a place that I want to tell everybody about and on the other hand tell no one so it can be our secret hideaway forever! If you’re looking for peace and quiet, gardens, front porch sitting, private pool, private beach and beach access, and best of all, super friendly and helpful hosts, this place is IT. It was just the 3 of us, me, husband and dog. We spent Memorial Day weekend and week at the Mirman’s beach cottage. Perfect size for us. Easy to keep clean too. We LOVED the front porch looking into the gardens. Spent a lot of time there, just sitting in the cool breeze on hot mornings and nights. We also wandered the pool and garden area. The plants, trees and flowers are amazing, but it’s the hidden gems that did it for me. No spoilers, but I would find a new item everyday, previously overlooked. Having a private pool right outside of the cottage was another huge win. Decorated beautifully, beach towels, furniture, floats, SHADE. Enjoyed meeting the gardeners and pool cleaners who were friendly, yet unobtrusive, who kept the grounds clean and neat. Words will not do justice to the brick walkway to the private beach. Also complete with chairs and showers. So clean and shady. We enjoyed playing in the ocean everyday. Water was warm and clear. So excited to have seen a manatee too. We would go every night to the beach to watch the sunset. It’s an incredible experience and MUST DO. We enjoyed our stay so much that we are coming back. Love Love Love!!

Absolute Paradise

A slice of paradise

We fully enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was a perfect escape for us. The private beach and the unbelievable sunsets were perfection. While the rest of the property does seem in need of some landscape maintenance, the beach was the highlight. The cottage was immaculate and fit our needs perfectly.

Excellent small cottage

Very nice place. Perfect for a couple or small family. Has everything you would need. Tucked away from all the commotion but close to town and Sarasota.. Hosts were very nice.

We went up and down the East and West Coast of Florida and found Siesta Key was the most beautiful and the people the greatest. We developed beautiful gardens and ponds on this property. The property is on the Beach.
