Gran casa familiar convenientemente ubicada en el corazón del condado de Summit, a solo minutos de esquí, tiendas y lugares de entretenimiento de clase mundial.

5 dormitorios, 3 baños con sala de juegos, bañera de hidromasaje (nuevo en junio de 2017) y parrilla de gas en la cubierta, y un garaje adjunto para dos autos. Amplio espacio para automóviles / remolques adicionales en un camino de entrada grande. Duerme 10-12 en camas sin entrometerse en el espacio habitable. Lavadora y secadora en la sala de barro con secador de botas de esquí / guantes de 4 botas. Acceso gratuito a internet Wi-Fi disponible. Se instaló un televisor Roku de 55 "en la sala de estar en diciembre de 2018 y se montó un televisor Roku de 49" en la sala de juegos. Ambos televisores permiten transmitir cientos de películas y programas, así como la utilización de cualquiera de sus propios programas a través de sitios como Netflix y Amazon Prime Video. La casa se encuentra en un lote de esquina con vistas a Buffalo Mountain. ¡Te encantará!

Right at home in Wanda's Place

Stayed with friends for a ski week. The location is extremely convenient, and the home was well-appointed. The owner, Joe, was super-friendly, easy to work with, and helpful.

Joe’s house fit our family’s needs perfectly. We had plenty of space and It was nice pulling vehicles into the garage. The kitchen was fully equipped thankfully because we cooked two meals a day in it. Thanks Joe!!!

Great home and host

Joe was very easy to communicate with before and during our stay. The house was big enough for our group of 8 with plenty of extra room. The driveway was also big enough to fit three large trucks with very minimal shuffling of vehicles. The house was well stocked and clean. We have no complaints about our stay and would stay here again in the future.

Great location and amenities

We had a wonderful long weekend at this beautiful property. It was a great layout and size for our two families (4 adults and 5 kids). The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to cook in, and the amenities like the hot tub and game room were a nice treat. Also very prompt and thorough communications from the property owners. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Perfect spot in the mountains

Had an absolute blast at Joe’s beautiful home. Quiet, serene, and beautiful views all around. It was in a perfect central location for Keystone, Silverthorne, Dillon, and Breckinridge. Everything was there that we needed to make us comfortable and communications were quick and detailed. Had no issues and would definitely stay again.

Great house for a large family or group of friends

Fantastic location for family holiday ski trip!

Our family stayed here for Christmas with a goal of relaxing and a skiing option for those interested. We found the property to be very clean and well-appointed. It was great was to be able to park two cars in the garage.It was about a ten minute drive to Keystone and 20 minutes to A-basin.Free Bus stop was just down the road maybe half a mile.Also a great little shopping center with bar, pizza place on the corner in case you didn't want to go all of the way into town. We were very happy with the amenities provided. For example, basic spices and condiments, coffee filters, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, paper towels and toilet paper were all included. There were plenty of towels as well as washer and 2 dryers, with detergent provided. There was a boot dryer but we didn't use it. There is a second refrigerator in the garage we used for drinks. The hot tub was clean and convenient on the back deck. We used bath towels for the hot tub and washed when needed.One thing that might be helpful is a separate place or designation for hot tub towels, or a different color to make tracking easier. There is a gas grill on the deck and we made good use of that too. The layout worked well with three full baths, one per level, and bedrooms either upstairs or downstairs with all common areas on the main level.There was plenty of room to lounge or eat together, although the living room might be tight with more than our 8 adults. Wood fireplace worked well. Hosts were extremely responsive!

Colorado mountain trip

The place was big enough to accommodate us. We enjoyed our stay. We did have ants on the deck and the grill which required us to get some spray and take care of that. The weeds were growing up from under the porch through the boards on the deck- should of been taken care of and the lawn wasn’t mowed even though in the bio it said mowed weekly. First impression not so good. Not enough toilet paper so had to run to store. Window screens torn so if you opened the windows flying ants came in.

Very clean and spacious!

This was the first time I have skipped the hotel life. We were very impressed! The home had plenty of towels, tp, laundry soap, trash bags, etc. (everything that the prior reviews complained about). The neighborhood was very quiet and the little shops down the road were welcoming. Beds and furniture were all very comfy. Since most homes in CO don’t have AC, I do wish the home had secure screens on the master bedroom window to get cooler air in during the evening/night. Many fans are available in the home. Husband’s 4” lifted F150 would not fit in the garage, but the owners were very clear in their home info that high profile vehicles may not fit. That was not a problem for us, but if you want your vehicle indoors it’s something to keep in mind.

Great Place

The house was just what we needed for our two families to enjoy skiing. The main floor/kitchen worked out perfect for adults visiting while the kids played air hockey downstairs. We will definitely be back.

2023 Family Ski Trip

Great house for a family with kids. Plenty of room to spread out. Great hot tub after a long day on the slopes. Very responsive owners ready to answer any/all questions. One suggestion - the house could use some more towels based on the number of people staying there and also using the hot tub.

Great Family Christmas Vacation

We had a large family stay here. The location is great. Had plenty of space for our family. The three story nature of the home made it easy for all of us to hang but still be able to separate kids from adults at times. The hot tub was great. Excellent communication. Would love to come back.

Our home is owned by my spouse (Tina), her mother (Wanda) and two of my spouse's sisters. The home has been a family meeting place for many years and everyone enjoys the mountain views and skiing in particular.

Tina and I have managed the home ever since it was listed with VRBO in 2008. We enjoy sharing the home with others who are drawn to the mountains and all of the outdoor activities available there.

Location, location, location!!!!!

The home is only two miles away from the nearest chair lift (Keystone) and a very short drive to Arapahoe Basin and Breckenridge ski areas. Copper Mountain is just 15 minutes away and Vail/Beaver Creek is a 30 minute drive on I-70.

While it is not ski in / ski out, the house is centrally located making access to skiing, hiking, boating, golfing, biking, etc.... only minutes away.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The view of Buffalo Mountain from the deck and hot tub are fantastic. If you're lucky you'll be there when the sun sets giving you the view like the picture on this website. It looks even better in person!

The home is spacious and comfortable as well as well insulated and warm. We've been in the mountains when it was -25 below with 90 MPH winds and watched the weather from a very comfy living room picture window.

We are now offering a concierge service through Tending Le Castle. Call (720)500-5593 to discover all of the unique services available to help make your stay with us memorable.

Finally, the home is very conveniently located to allow for access to several different ski resorts. This isn't the place for people that are looking for ski in/ski out, but if you don't mind driving 5-10 minutes to ski, you can have your pick of several world class ski areas.
