The Groves is superbly maintained and cared for. The spacious Villa is a 2000 sqft, single storey, 4 bedroom and 3 bathroom fully air-conditoned home built in a former Orange Grove, in the Platinum Orange Tree Community.

Located in a former Orange Grove, Orange Tree is a platinum rated short term rental community with Tennis and Pickle ball Courts and a playground. Shopping is only a half mile/800 meters from the villa.

You will be staying in a lovely well maintained neighborhood. The community is about 50% short term rentals and 50% year round residents. Please keep in mind this is your vacation have a great time but please be respectful of the 11 pm quiet time in the community.

Wonderful vacation with nothing to do!!! (on purpose).

Enjoyed our vacation at "the Groves". Somewhat of a family reunion. Spent our time together around the pool. Appreciated the location as it was approximately a 1/2 mile to the grocery store. This is an amazing property in an ideal location. This is definitey a "come back to" place.

Orange Groves a Basic Rental

We appreciate people who give an honest review and will provide one. This is for a family of 6. Kids aged 19-6 years old. We have been traveling 2-3 times a year for 20+ years and have used many through VRBO. Pros: the master bed was comfortable and all the bedding in each room was of good quality. Many bath towels and 8 beach towels. The house has a nice layout and plenty of room for our family. Cons: this home is located along State Road 27, you will hear traffic all day both inside and out. If you are accustom to traffic noise then you’ll be fine. The master bath does not have a door. You can see directly into it from the master bed/bedroom. Our room tends to be a hub for our kids when waking up or winding down at the end of the day. That made things difficult. We’ve never seen anything like this before anywhere. We paid for heated pool/spa. I can say we have a pool. We live up north in Indiana and it is not heated and the pool water felt exactly the same. It was not “heated” like all other rentals we’ve used. The spa was hot sometimes and warm others. We think this is the way they have it set up. The pool runs it filter every 3-4 hours and that is the only time you will feel a bit of heated water. The thermostat is controlled. 75 during the day and 69 at night. The grill is older and needs to be replaced. It has a self starter on it but it does not work. You have to manually light it with a lighter which in our opinion is dangerous and somewhat difficult. They could use some long metal grilling tongs and spatulas. Couldn’t find any in the house. Lastly, we has an issue with ants inside the house while we were there from day one. The were very tiny ants that got into some of the food we had just purchased. We moved all food including non-perishables into the fridge. We contacted the Mngt company and owner. An extermination came the next day. They sprayed and left traps. We continued to see them here and there during our stay and they seem to be in an abundance in the Laundry room and coming in and out from the ceiling in there. We moved the traps to where we saw them. We figured it might take some time for the treatment to kick in. We ended up having some hitchhike in our car on our way home and had some in our home. They are not native to our area. We treated our home for ants. You will get 4 small bars of hand soap, 1 dish tablet and 2 trash bags, & a roll of tp for each bathroom.

The Groves

My family had a pleasant stay at the Groves. The home is well maintained and there is plenty of space for a family. Communication with the owner and the property managers was great with quick responses. The pool is very private and the TV on the patio deck is a great touch. The location of the house is great. Close enough to just about anything you might want, but far enough from the crowds and traffic to enjoy some pease. The only thing I wish we knew about earlier was that the washer is a high efficiency model, so that we were prepared with the proper laundry detergent.

Perfect House

We found this house after another property cancelled for unforeseen reasons. I am happy that happened as this house was everything we needed and more! The neighborhood is quiet (can hear traffic on highway but that was expected) and well maintained. We did not feel like the neighborhood was a party crowd and that was perfect for us. The house is clean to say the least. We have stayed at several houses over the last year and this one had the most comfortable master suite of all. The outdoor arrangement with the table and television area compliments the pool perfectly. One nice side note is the washer and dryer are nice and newer models. We ate out just about every night with many of the restaurants being close by that we enjoyed. We actually looked to book this property in October for fall break but the house is already booked, we will likely try to return.

We are retired professionals that love to travel and spend time at The Groves as much as possible. The villa is set up with furnishings and amenities we have come to expect from upscale accommodations. You will see the extra touches to make you feel at home while staying at our villa.

As big Disney fans, we love being close to the parks but having a quiet place to relax and unwind.
We enjoy time with our family and friends at our Florida home whenever we can. There is lots of room to spread out with both a family room and living room as well as plenty of dining both inside and on the pool deck.

Outdoor seating for 8 under the covered area of the lanai allows for El fresco dining under the 2 ceiling fans.
Watching a movie on the pool side big screen TV is a wonderful way to spend a warm Florida evening,
