Gorgeous Beach View balcony and heated pool

Beautiful, updated 2nd floor 1 bedroom condo right at the beach in the heart of St Pete Beach. The private bedroom has a comfy queen bed and plenty of storage space. The living room has a nice pull-out sleeper sofa. Walk out the door and you are steps from the beautiful white sand beach in the Gulf of Mexico. There is a year-round heated pool, shuffleboard courts, on-site laundry facilities, and BBQ grills available. We're within walking distance of many restaurants, bars, and shops.

There was a cockroach in the kitchen area under the table even though the unit had just been cleaned. There was black looking “mold” in the ceiling tile in the hallway. In the living area there were crumbs under the two chairs. There were some type of drippings on the small balcony. The host didn’t answer my text on how to lock the keypad door, I had to google it & I never received the pool gate number to get into the pool- I had to ask someone in the pool area. I messaged the host about the bug in the kitchen area, she did apologize, and she called it a palmetto bug. I googled it and it is a cockroach.The unit is in a great area very close to the beach and the kitchen was well stocked with appliances. Unfortunately, due to the cockroach we left because where there is one there are more and I was not comfortable and didn’t feel safe in that unit.

It’s a nice place and just the right size for 2 people and it has a sofa bed in case you have company, will definitely stay here again and in walking distance to the places we go to the most.

Great location, some negatives

Pros: closet full of beach gear, nicely stocked kitchen, short walk to the beach Cons: only a few minutes worth of hot water, vents make a loud low-pitched noise from vibrations through pipe (makes it hard to sleep). Condo itself needs some love but location made it worth it.

Good Location

Wonderful location, across from Upham Beach. The condo is on the second floor of a hurricane flooded building, and the first floor is being repaired. We were unable to find the laundry room, and assume it was on the first floor and no longer exists. The pictures don't accurately reflect the condo. While the condo has cute furnishings, it could benefit from some renovations. As other reviews have noted, the heating and cooling have some issues, and the bed is a bit soft. There's more, but I'll leave it at that.

Jennifer was very responsive to any questions I had. We traveled to St. Pete to help my Daughter with the after math of Milton so we needed a nice place to stay and this was it. We have been to the area multiple times in the past and always stayed at hotels. Our expectations were not high due to all the damage in the area but we were very pleased with our stay. Hopefully we stay there again after area clean up and enjoy a vacation. Thank You

perfect getaway

We loved being able to walk to alot of places. The beach was close. We were back and forth several times a day. We walked to the restaurants down the road. Loved TOASTED MONKEY!! Jennifer was very accomodating. Thanks.

So close to beach

Great location to beach and restaurants. Affordable way to vacation in a place that was clean and had everything we needed. Pool was nice and felt safe walking in the area.

Great Location

Location is wonderful for a relaxing beach trip, plenty to walk and do, restaurants, etc. enjoyed the ease of having a cooler and beach chairs available. The condo could use some TLC, but if you are just looking for a place to stay in a good area, this works just fine.

Great location Cannot change thermostat but found it was pleasantly set Had all the accessories that you would need from plates to beach chairs and sunscreen Short walk thru parking lot to get to the beach Good little kitchen with fridge stove and microwave You can do all your cooking there Ample parking Definitely going to book again

Good location close to beach and reataurants. Lots of kitchen amenities. Love the extras in the condo. Wasnt a fan that we couldnt set the AC lower than 72 degrees. Had a hard time sleeping in that warm environment. Bed wasnt the most comfortable but Ive had worse.

Great Location

Great location, a minute walk to the beach. Had everything you needed including chairs and umbrella, much cheaper than renting. Bedroom alittle warm to sleep in but fan helped some.

Close to the beach and walking distance to local bars

Conviently located right across the street from Upham beach. It had everything we needed and communication with host was easy. Plenty of beach items are in the unit including chairs, umbrella, coolers, towels, cart, etc. Bed was very comfortable. Beware of a musty smell in the unit. I've stayed in other units in this building that also had a musty smell so I'm not sure if much can be done about it. It wasn't a problem for us.

Family getaway

Perfect location. The beach and local restaurants were in a couple minute walk. Everything needed for the beach was in the condo. There was an umbrella, towels, chairs, and a cart to help you get it to the beach. There were even some toys and rafts to use in the water. Great place for a family of 3 or 4. The couch pulled out into a bed which gave an extra spot for our son to sleep. The door was a little tricky to open from time to time. We will definitely be back the next time we are down in St Pete beach!

Girls getaway

Great location, easy walk to the beach. Kitchen had everything we needed as we cooked most of our meals. Only issue we had is that there were no sheets for the sofa bed. Was told since it was only 2 people on the reservation they don't supply sheets for sofa. There were blankets & pillows available so used those until sheets were provided. Suggestion: keep extra sheets, blankets and pillows in armoire. Do not make assumptions on who is staying in unit. Jennifer was very responsive and i would stay here again.

Nice place to stay, tv sets a little annoying, have to reset the input source repeatedly. Front door would be easier to open with a different lock and without lock box hanging from knob. Housekeeper should also clean under furniture as food was found and picked up.

Please remember less than a year ago our paradise was devastated with 2 historic storms which affected this area tremendously even though we are on the second floor, specifically anything on the first floor ie: entrances & hallways. We have bounced back rather quickly and 95% of places, attractions and restaurants are back up but there still are some unfortunate circumstances and areas under construction so if that is something that could effect your experience in anyway please reconsider. Otherwise come relax enjoy the beautiful beach, weather and experience this paradise for yourself.
