Private dock, easy walk to beach! Beautiful Island Park waterfront home in OIB!

Gorgeous home with private dock located in the Island Park community on the West End of OIB. One of the best views on the island! Watch the sunset from your back deck or from the private dock. Go kayaking, paddle boarding, and fishing right off the dock. And the beach is just an easy 5 min walk!

This beautiful 4 bedroom home has a large well-equipped kitchen with high-end appliances. The kitchen opens to the dining area and a comfortable living room with a large screen TV, perfect for hanging out with friends and family!

There are two bedrooms on the main floor, each with a queen size bed, that share a jack and jill bathroom. There is also a half bathroom on the main floor. The two bedrooms on the second floor each have their own full bathroom. The master bedroom has a king size bed, the second bedroom upstairs has bunk beds (twin over full) with a trundle bed (twin). This room is very large and is perfect for a kids' bedroom with their own big screen smart TV.

All rooms have cable TV and there is WIFI throughout the house. Full size washer and dryer are on the main floor. The outdoor space under the house has a propane gas grill, an outdoor living area and a super comfortable swing for lounging and watching the beautiful view! There is also a large outdoor shower and changing room. Parking under the house can accommodate 3-4 cars. Golf cart rentals are available in OIB if needed. There is a power outlet under the house to charge a golf cart.

New for 2023: linens and towels are included!

The Island Park Community is a family friendly community with two swimming pools. Ocean Isle Beach has a miniature golf course, several restaurants and local shops. During the summer, There are free Friday night concerts on the island. Bike, kayak and stand-up paddle board rentals are available on the island, as well as jet skiing, parasailing and charter fishing trips.

No pets and absolutely no smoking.

Family Beach Trip

Our family had a great week. This is our second time staying in this home. We love the dock and outdoor area where we enjoyed beautiful sunsets. Sylvia is a very prompt owner. We look forward to renting again.

Intergenerational Family Vacation

The location of the property was ideal for us. We brought our canoes and kayaks to paddle in Jinks Creek. It was a short walk to the beach. The rooms were nicely set up to accommodate our children and their children.

Our stay

After the slight hiccup as to when the unit was available for check-in, which was not a problem, everything was fine. Sunsets from the deck were great. Will definitely look into availability on our next trip to OIB.

A relaxing trip in a comfortable home!

We had a great time on a few day's escape to OIB. The house was better than expected and we enjoyed our stay & plan to be back! Very peaceful, nice community, great outdoor & indoor amenities, comfy beds! Overlooking the marsh was very peaceful and private. Owner was very responsive.

Beautiful Views

We've been coming to OIB for 30+ years and have stayed at many different places but by far the views from the deck were amazing both in the morning having our coffee and in the evening for the sunsets! The house was great, we love this location in OIB. Highly recommend the house and working with the owners was a breeze. Great trip - thank you so much!

Great Location with Beautiful Sunsets

We had a wonderful stay. This is a beautiful home with an amazing view. The home is very comfortable and extremely well maintained, We enjoyed the nice outdoor furniture, the swing, and loved the dock for fishing. We appreciate the owners sharing their home with us. Spacious, great views, great hosts

The location to the community pool and beach access were wonderful. The view of the sound was absolutely stunning. The rooms were spacious, bathrooms were beautiful. The home was well equipped. There were a couple of hiccups regarding the dishwasher and AC - however the host managed it immediately and we had a fantastic week! Great home to enjoy the beach!

Best of Both Worlds

Clean property. Laid out perfectly with multiple private bathrooms. Fully stocked kitchen. My kids enjoyed fishing early in the morning and then again in the evening with a short, convenient ride to the beach in between.

Great relaxing family vacation

The place was clean and nicely decorated. Owner was very responsive. We fished off the back dock. We caught about 10 different kinds of fish and also caught some nice sized crabs. The beach was about a 7 minute walk. We ate at some decent restaurants nearby. We didn’t rent golf carts but everyone else seemed to have rented them. Would definitely rent again.

Spectacular sunset views

The home is beautifully furnished AND has comfortable beds. There is plenty of cabinet and storage space in the kitchen for food items, so the counters aren't cluttered. The outdoor space also has comfortable seating for enjoying the spectacular sunsets and marsh views both upstairs and downstairs. The private dock was a huge hit since several of our family love to fish. It was great to be able to sit outside and watch them fish. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Great Long Weekend With Family

We thoroughly enjoyed this beach home. Cannot say enough good things as to condition of the home, location, amenities, etc. Some of the highlights included the home having a dock on the river where we fished a little, the swing underneath facing west to watch some beautiful sunsets and the quiet neighborhood. You can walk to the beach, as some of our crew did but we did rent a golf cart which made it easier. We hope to be back sometime.

Would Stay Again!

My family stayed here for a week during a family reunion. We were very happy with our accommodations. We were initially surprised we needed to purchase our own toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags for the duration of our stay, but then found out from family staying in other homes that this is customary in this area. And some of the other homes didn't have any toilet paper upon arrival. Ours did. The home was very comfortable and clean. We'd be happy to stay again.

No sound on TV’s

Everything was great except the TV’s were not very user friendly. We had no sound on any of the TV’s until about 3:30am Monday am when the one in the living room that we had been working on for days decided to provide sound. I don’t use Roku but I’m sure it’s something used in rental houses. Other than the TVs we enjoyed it.

The house felt like a home and was well appointed. The view could not be any better. We fished and paddle boarded from the dock. The host was very responsive. Would definitely stay here again.

Thanksgiving Retreat

Our family enjoyed our traditional Thanksgiving dinner in the lovely dining area and enjoyed watching the ballgames from the comfortable sofa! The rain let up long enough for us to sit on the pier benches and enjoy the creek views. Would love to return during the warmer months to try out the ground level swing.

Beautiful, peaceful beach retreat

This is our second year in a row renting this property for a family beach trip. We fell in love last year and agreed it wasn’t even worth searching for other properties this year. You truly cannot find a more peaceful, idyllic location. The house is beautiful, plenty spacious and well stocked. But the back porch and dock are probably our favorite places to hang out. The guys took kayaks and fished all week, but there’s also great fishing right off the dock. The view off the deck is phenomenal and the sunsets are absolutely stunning. The peace and quiet you experience is just a blessing. Beach access is a short, easy walk, even with a toddler in tow. Silvia is incredibly kind to work with. She gave us lots of information, responded quickly and was very helpful any time we had a question. She has repeatedly made renting this location easy and hassle free. Everyone in our group agreed that this our favorite beach vacation home. The tranquility and scenery cannot be beat.

We have been coming to Ocean Isle for over 15 yrs. We fell in love with the town and the beaches right away. We stayed at several different rentals over the years in different parts of the island, but the Island Park community on the sound was always our favorite. We're so happy to be able to own our own place in OIB and are happy to share it with guests so others can fall in love with the island too!
