Truly lovely home in a neighborhood with very nice amenities. I cooked most nights and kitchen was well-stocked with pans, cooking utensils and lots of dishes. Also had a wine fridge and a bonus dorm-size fridge on the enclosed porch that really came in handy for storing beer and soda.Great for our family of 7. Really convenient to state park which has some spectacular views.

This house was great for 3 families with children! The pool and beach were walkable from the house and only a short drive into town. Would definitely recommend!

The house was clean, looked like it was newly updated. Cheerful Beach like setting. Great location to cape henlopen State Park. We did not expect it, but they had all extra things that we had already brought like paper products and toilet paper.We received the house passcode to get in ahead of time which made an easy transition.They had bikes and beach, chairs, and kayaks, which we weren’t able to use because of the rain. A nice outdoor shower was available.Would highly recommend and would go again for another family reunion.

The 2nd trash and recycling was not available because the 250 fee wasn’t paid by the owner. Our 2 week stay was spoiled by this oversight. With the money paid for 2 weeks this is inexcusable! The 250 fee works out to 25/wk. I feel we are owed 50 refund for this inconvenience.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience with the second trash and recycling pickup during your stay. This was an oversight related to a new owner taking over the property this year. The second pickup had not been added to the schedule, and unfortunately, when we discovered the issue when you called our office the beginning of August -we contacted the City of Lewes to add it --- however, it was already too late in the season to add the additional pickup, as the second summer service ends on August 15. We did not simply leave the situation unresolved. We arranged for our handyman to make additional trash pickups during your stay, at a considerably higher cost than the normal summer second-pickup fee, so that the trash could be taken care of. We certainly understand that this was an inconvenience, and we are sorry that it affected your stay. We have addressed the oversight with the owner so that the proper pickup schedule will be in place for summer 2027. We appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to explain what occurred.

Wonderful house - spacious and well-appointed, close to the beach and only steps to the community pool, it’s perfect for larger families with multiple bedrooms and bathrooms.

Cape Shores beach house

This was our second time vacationing at this beach house. While it was beautiful and perfect for our needs with a pool and bay nearby, the house needed some attention. The icemaker wasn't working in the freezer, the air conditioner upstairs broke while we were there, the hose outside was very leaky, and the door from the kitchen to the sunroom was very difficult to lock. My husband was very frustrated as if it were his home, he would've insured these things were fixed before other renters came to stay. Overall we would come back but would obviously love to not experience these inconveniences.

We had a wonderful stay - loved the closeness to the beach and state park and bike trails and the general layout of the house. The house was fully stocked with items we didn't realize they would have so my only comment would be to update the listing to list all of the appliances, beach accessories, pack and play, hand soap, etc. Thanks for a great stay

Great place

Perfect for little kids, access to pool and bay within easy walking distance. Short drive or bike ride over to ocean beach at Henlopen and easy access to Lewes for any and all necessities

Nice house in a great location

The property is spacious, clean, and well equipped. The proximity to the beach is amazing and the neighborhood is quiet and very beautiful. We took chairs to the beach and enjoyed an evening sandbar - the kids loved finding crabs and splashing in the tidepools. We would definitely rent again!

Amazing stay by the beach

This place has it all. Plenty of rooms. A great deck and sunroom. Close to the pool, the beach and a great fishing pier! And even though it’s technically a public beach there are so few people there it feels private. Great vacation!

Perfect for girls weekend

What a fun weekend!

This home was better than advertised, well appointed, we loved everything about it! Perfect weather to enjoy the beach/bay and the pool. Communication with the property manager Bill was great, we had no issues and would definitely stay again.

Christmas celebrations

Our stay at the property was incredible. The house exceeded our expectations. It was very spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. They were nice enough to give a late check out. Would definitely return.

This property has a premier location in Cape Shores close to both pool and beach. Bed/bath config worked perfectly for us, our two grown married kids with total of 4 grandkids, 2,4,6,8 years old. The gravy is that it’s beautiful, up to date, well stocked and has family friendly common areas ! CB Bill Mantyla is available and very informative. A perfect 10!
