Best Beach House ever!

Flip Flop Holiday is the epitome of a wonderful beach house. The location is perfect as Carillon beach resort is located very centrally to 30A and PCB. The location within the community is convenient as well. The home itself is beautifully decorated, spacious, clean and just all around well kept. My family and I have never stayed at a better beach home and we travel through VRBO often. There are all the amenities necessary. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the owners and their home. We will be back!!! Thank you

Love staying at FlipFlop Holiday house . Lynn and Eddie have thought of everything and their time and care show the house is so cozy and beautiful it’s just a short walk to the glorious white sand beach or any of the pools . I love driving the golf cart around the quiet village especially in the evening when everything twinkles with little white lights I highly recommend this gem and the entire area . There are many little seaside towns to shop eat or just relax nearby ❤️

Great Vacation Home!!

Fantastic vacation - AGAIN!

Flip Flop Holiday beach house was such a great vacation home! Our family of 5 enjoyed every minute of the stay. This was our 3rd stay at Flip Flop.....and it continues to be our favorite home in Carillon Beach. The house was clean and so well organized. All the basics in a kitchen you may ever need were there, plus additional fun items like a homemade ice cream maker. Lynn is a fabulous communicator and checks in regularly. If any repair is needed, it is handled promptly. We love this house so much and will come back again and again!

Disappointing

Pros: -Home was VERY clean, loved the towel art, nice toiletries, soothing color scheme, comfy linens and well stocked kitchen including an ice cream maker with recipes! Cons: -Pre-existing plumbing leak resulted in inability to fully use the 1 bathtub in home for the entirety of stay, Although owner responded quickly, no credit was given for our stress and trouble. -Bedroom door malfunctioned and locked from the inside, but no keys or tools provided in home to remedy. -Golf cart did not have cover and it rained a lot during our stay, so cart was often wet. -Exterior light onto driveway wasn't working- this made parking golf cart difficult at night as it must be charged very close to home (charging cord is short). -Showerheads have minimal water pressure & primary shower is very small. -Primary bed mattress not comfortable and nightstands too high for low bed. -Living room furniture not very comfortable. -TVs are voice activated & not very user friendly. -Note: there is road noise throughout neighborhood from major highway close by (didn't notice inside home, but made porches unpleasant) and it can be hard to get a left turn out of the neighborhood if going back to 30A. These issues and lack of customer service when several issues arose were not in line with homes we have stayed at in the area and for this price point.

I'll keep this short... This house is the BEST!!!

My family and I have stayed in Carillon of the last 10 years or so, and in the past we have stayed at different houses each time. This is the only house that we are repeat guests at, and that is no small thing. Lynn and Eddie take care of their guest like no other homeowner that we encountered in Carillon. Their attention to their customer is impeccable, and you would be hard-pressed to find another house where the owners are so engaged with their clients. the house itself is immaculate, and all up-to-date. The housecleaning crew does a great job of keeping the place spotless, and you are going to love what they do to the towns upon arrival! All in all, this is a house we definitely recommend, and will be back. Just don't take the week we want to go!!

Wonderful!

This is my 8th time to Carillon Beach and my second year in a row staying at Flip Flop Holiday. We had such a relaxing time last year, we were excited to return to this lovely home. Lynn and Eddie are the hosts with the most! Lynn stays in constant contact before, during, and after the trip. She goes above and beyond by providing essentials such as dishwasher pods, laundry pods, paper towels, garbage bags, etc. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need - even an ice cream maker, a juicer, martini shaker and glasses, and tools for grilling! The TVs were upgraded to 80 inches which made for a great time watching ballgames. The golf cart is another extra and reason we love the house as it makes it easy to transport beach chairs and coolers to the beach. The house is extremely clean and was spotless both times we arrived! We have stayed here twice so obviously I cannot say enough about Flip Flop Holiday and the terrific host!! We will be back again :)

The very best on the coast

My family and I have come to the Emerald Coast for many, many years and stayed in different homes each time…until last year. Last year we stayed at Flip Flop Holiday for the first time, and now we’ll never stay anywhere else. The house is perfection; well stocked, updated, and impeccably clean. The location, access to the beach, and neighborhood amenities compare to being at a resort but with all the comforts of home. Lynn is the absolute best and most thoughtful host, and we know we’re always in good hands with her. Our second trip to Flip Flop Holiday was even better than the first, and we’re already counting down to our third (already booked) trip next year.

Perfect beach getaway

If you have stayed on 30a before, then you know how difficult it can be to have your own beach space. Carillon Beach has 8 private walkovers for the neighborhood. This house in particular has its own double chair/umbrella set up on the beach for you to use the whole time you are there. No worry about carrying chairs, etc. back and forth. The pools are also all very nice. We used the pickleball courts too-so fun!! The owners communicate very well and are super friendly. The house has everything you will need, including beach towels, kitchen ware, toiletries start ups, and use of a 6 seater golf cart. The neighborhood has a couple of coffee/breakfast places as well as a pizza place. All are good. The house is close to all the PCB action as well as 30A, Santa Rosa and Destin. We loved our stay and would love to come back next year!

Every vacation should have Flip Flops

We spent Spring Break 2024 at Flip Flop Holiday. The house was beautiful and the gated community of Carillon Beach was a wonderful blend of luxury, relaxation and convenience. Lynn does a fabulous job anticipating the needs of her guest. Beach towels to laundry detergent, cooler to Keurig, everything was there. We really appreciated the cleanliness and comforts of Flip Flop Holiday and we’ll definitely visit again.

Great Vacation Home!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Flip Flop Holiday! The house was as described and was one of the most equipped and well taken care of vacation homes we have stayed in. The included beach towels, beach toys, and golf cart were perfect. Check in and check out was a breeze and communication with the host was top notch. We can’t recommend this vacation home enough!

Relaxing Summer Vacation

Flip Flop Holiday was a perfect getaway for our family! The neighborhood is family friendly for kids of all ages...has a playground and kid focused pool, tennis/pickle ball courts, basketball court, sidewalks throughout, two more lovely pools, and a very private beach for the neighborhood, which is one of the cleanest beaches I have ever visited! The house is clean and comfortable, and has all you need for a relaxing vacation! The main floor has a queen bedroom and full bathroom, and upstairs, a king master suite and another bedroom with a queen bed and double bed with a full bath. The beds are very comfortable! The outdoor spaces are charming and have a lovely view of the courtyard out front, and the woods out back. Super bonus to this home is the 6 passenger golf cart that is included and provides a fun daily outing not only to the beach or pool, but an architectural tour of the neighborhood! We loved seeing the details and how they stood out differently during the day and the night with all the lights. This home is also very conveniently located to everything along Florida's 30A beaches/restaurants/shops/charm. We look forward to visiting again in the future! Thank you for sharing this lovely home.

Awesome Beach House in a Cozy Neighborhood

We had a wonderful time staying here. The house was even better than expected and the interior decorating was phenomenal. The owner/manager was super organized and helpful, making sure we had a trip full of great memories. We highly recommend staying here.

Exceeded Expectations!

Where to even begin?! The house was perfectly cleaned, well stocked, beautiful, and comfortable. We needed for nothing the entire week we were there. We’ve stayed in many different areas along the Emerald coast including Destin, Miramar, and several areas along 30A. Carillon was our absolute favorite so far. The neighborhood is so beautiful and the Main Street has two restaurants, wine bar, spa, and general store (with everything you could need from beach toys, sunscreen, snacks, drinks, ice cream, and souvenirs). Throughout our week, we had some bad weather and double red flag days, but having Flip Flop Holiday made the stay still just as amazing. We’d take golf cart rides in the evening, grab a shake at Our Little Beach Cafe, and listen to the bells. The pools, grounds, and courts were maintained beautifully. The location is perfect; right outside of the gates are grocery stores and Rosemary Beach and Inlet are just a five minute drive. But you avoid the crazy crowds of the 30A beaches. It’s very rare that I the reality is better than the photos, but this is absolutely the case of Flip Flop Holiday and Carillon Beach.

Memorial Day Week

Spent the week here, could not have been better. Have been staying in Carrolon for several years first time here. Great experience, great location. Very clean, everything we needed as a family with small kids [six year old and ten month old]. Golf cart on site was a plus so it saves rental fee. Stayed in and grilled out one night, nice grill good utensils, plenty of plates etc. Everything was great. Family atmosphere of the resort, lots of kids running around. Great experience overall and great rental. Highly recommend.

Flip Flop Holiday - YAY!!!

This was our fifth stay at Carillon Beach and the owners made sure our visit in their lovely home was spectacular! The house was immaculate when we arrived! It is stocked with EVERYTHING from ziploc bags to a martini shaker, and even an ice cream maker!! There are plenty of dishes and cookware. The beds, sofa, and chairs are all really comfortable and made for a very relaxing week. When I forget what day it is I know I have had a very relaxing, recharging vacation. Most important, Lynne and Eddie the owners are the most gracious hosts. They were in contact with me from the minute I booked the reservation through the time I left the property. They truly want their guests to have the best experience ever! I most definitely would stay at Flip Flop Holiday again! Thank you Lynne and Eddie for a wonderful trip!

Relaxing week at Flip Flop Holiday! rental!!

We have rented in Carillon for 7 years and I can honestly say this spring break was better than any before!! We cooked delicious meals on the Weber grill for six of the seven nights. The golf cart was such an asset when going to the beach each day and the designated beach chairs were a bonus!! I highly recommend Flip Flop Holiday and Carillon Beach for your next vacation!! Can’t wait for our next visit!!

Best Beach Stay EVER!

Where do I begin? Lynn and Eddie could not have been any more accommodating and friendly. The circumstances that led us to rent through them were a nightmare, but let me just say they jumped in and helped us when we needed them most! They turned a disaster in a dream come true. Their home is PERFECT! Clean, cozy, cute, great location and all the amenities you could ever need or want in a beach vacation. The beds were comfortable, the sheets were heavenly and Lynn’s decoration style is great. They are close to the water, one of the pools, the pickleball and tennis courts as well as basketball court. We loved it here so much we are actually thinking of trying to buy a vacation home here. But what made it the absolute best was how they jumped in to help us when we needed help from a different rental from hell! They were so amazing, accommodating and nice. I feel like I have new best friends! Thank you for opening up your home to us last minute like you did. You are amazing. I was raised to treat others property better than your own and this certainly has paid off because it is heavenly and you will not regret it! Thank you againLynn and Eddie.

Would give 6 stars if I could !

The house was even better than the description and photos. It seemed like a brand new construction house. Extremely well stocked kitchen and other amenities. Very comfortably furniture, beds along with great bedding. The golf cart made for a quick trip to the beach which really wasn't that far away. Lynn was great to work with before, during and after our stay. The house was in the back of the Carillon property and very quiet. We will definitely book Flip Flop Holiday again ! Thank you Eddie and Lynn for sharing your wonderful house !
