Marvelous condo and host

The unit was extremely clean and decorated tastefully. Our host was easy to communicate with. We would have loved to be able to swim on the beach right outside, but the pool was magnificent. We were able to swim at other beaches not far away. After visiting Cabo San Lucas we were glad we were in San Juan del Cabo - fewer people and less traffic. This is definitely a 5 star accommodation.

The pictures & description don’t do this condo justice. It’s absolutely beautiful!! Condo has everything you can possibly need. It is beautifully decorated & the beds are so comfortable. The complex is stunning!! It is secure, well maintained & very clean. Pools are amazing & the sound of crashing waves!! Be still my heart! Location is fantastic. Easy walk to many restaurants, grocery stores or pharmacies. Doug is so easy to work with and answered all our questions promptly. We will be back!!

Love the ground floor…

Being on the ground floor extends your living space directly into the pool and beach. My 83 year old father with dementia was able to go outside and enjoy his family because of this easy access. We were able to easily keep an “eye” on him while we were at the pool and he was on the private patio.

Wonderful time Cabo

Our family had a wonderful time in Cabo at this condo. The layout is great for families….plenty of indoor and outdoor space. Being on the ground level provided convenient access to the pool and beach. Great location….close to San Jose and walkable to shops and grocery stores. We will be back!

Wonderful Condo!!!

Our family of 6 stayed in this lovely condo over the Christmas holiday and it was amazing. The pictures and online description were accurate, but don’t do it justice. The condo had everything you could want, and the location was perfect. Very easy to get to activities in both San Jose and Cabo. The owner had great communication. I would not hesitate to stay here again on my next trip to Cabo.

Quiet and Relaxing

The condominiums are very nice and kept up well. The landscaping is pristine and the view from this particular condo is amazing! The condo is roomy and clean and was the perfect size for our family of 6. There’s a full gym, tennis court and basketball hoop which was great for my kids. There’s also a little putting green one complex over. There’s a couple restaurants nearby that you can walk to, but having a car was helpful to explore the surrounding area. The old historic town is a must! The one thing I’d like to mention is that the residents here in this complex definitely enjoy their quiet and peaceful pool time. For the most part I got the impression that people are here to quietly relax. There weren’t many kids when we were there and several residents, including the security guard, corrected my kiddos who honestly were just being kids. They were told they couldn’t throw the ball in the pool area, which is fine because there’s a huge stretch of sandy beach right out front but they were actually very harmless in what they were doing. Out of consideration for the residents, I felt like I was constantly making sure my kids weren’t being too loud, which did make me feel quite stressed. So I left thinking that this place might be best for people traveling without children. Or maybe even people traveling with very quiet children. Overall it’s a great condo though with everything you need for a peaceful and relaxing trip!

The perfect place for us!

The overall property was breathtaking. Everything was so clean and well kept. The home was spacious and beautifully decorated. The kitchen had everything a cook could possibly want or need. Lots of towels, both beach and bathroom. I hope to stay here again.

Fantastic stay at Las Mananitas

This condo is perfect! Great location walking distance to restaurants and grocery store. The pools and beach are beautiful. The outdoor seating area is awesome with a stunning view. Condo is tastefully furnished and well equipped. The host is very easy to communicate abd responds quickly. We will be back!

Absolutely stunning… the perfect vacation

My husband and I are frequent visitors to San Jose del Cabo but this was our first stay at Las Mananitas. The property is lovely, well maintained and centrally located. It is a short walk to restaurants and great dining. No rental car needed as Uber is readily available (we never waited more than 2 minutes). The condo itself is comfortable and well appointed. We had everything we could possibly need. The pools are beautiful, heated and surrounded by lush landscaping. And the views… We loved sitting on the covered patio looking out across the pools to the sea. Bring binoculars as whales were often visible. Overall a wonderful and relaxing vacation. We can’t wait to visit again.

The perfect getaway

Nothing to fault on this beautiful property. We spent 8 days at Doug’s wonderful condo with our adult kids and 1 year old granddaughter, it surpassed our expectations. San Jose del Cabo is a more laid back town, but had everything we were looking for. Thursdays Art Walk is a must, just a short Uber ride away. Condo has all you need, with a quick walk to 2 grocery stores you will have all you want for a relaxing vacation.

Amazing location

Our family has been to San Jose several times and this property was amazing. We loved being on the ground floor - the pool is right off the patio and the ocean is a quick walk through the sliding glass doors of the unit. The grocery store is about a 3 minute drive away (you can easily walk it if you are only picking up a few things), and the unit has everything you need to prepare meals from a pots/pans/dishes/utensils perspective. There are also several restaurants that are a quick drive or easy walk away - we loved Lateral and Tap Deck. The beach right in front of the unit was not crowded at all, and there were beach chairs and sun umbrellas in the unit that worked great. There's also beach towels included in the unit which saved us some room in our luggage, and the washer/dryer in the unit worked great. Our teenage boys swam every day in the ocean right in front of the unit. If you have a rental car and like to snorkel, check out Chileno Bay and Santa Maria Beach - we saw a turtle, an eel and tons of fish. They're both a quick drive from the unit. The people we met in the building were a mix of owners and other travelers, mostly families and retirees. It is definitely a quiet community and not the kind of place you want to book if you are looking for a spring break type of atmosphere. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation right on the beach and away from all the aggressive vendors you get in Cabo San Lucas, this place can't be beat.

Perfect condo

This is a beautiful and comfortable condo. The location is excellent and the pool is steps away from the patio. AC worked great, beds were comfortable, and host was very helpful. Grounds are pristine and very quiet.

Love this condo and Doug is a great host. We have stayed in San Jose del Cabo three times and when we return we will definitely reach out to Doug first to stay at his property again. It’s great to be on the ground floor. His condo has everything you need and more. Thanks, Doug!

Gorgeous, well appointed condo with stunning view and outstanding host

My family of four including two 18 year olds stayed in this 3 bedroom ground floor condo for the first week of January 2023. The hosts have so well equipped the apartment with absolutely everything you could possibly need. The complex includes a water system so that there is no need to purchase bottled water… a huge plus for us. The fridge has an automatic ice maker so that is handy too. The unit has a washer and dryer so no need to overpack your suitcases. There are all kinds of kitchen supplies and appliances : drip coffee maker, toaster , blender , microwave, stove/oven and more. There were lots of spices and pantry essentials. The hosts have tastefully furnished the unit with beautiful decor and Mexican art. The bedding is super comfy with really nice quality sheets , comforters and pillows. Bath towels and beach towels are also provided, some pool floaters and beach chairs too. The grounds and surrounding gardens are really gorgeous, bougainvillea, flowering cactus , mature palm trees everywhere. Each day we really enjoyed sitting on the pool loungers , facing the ocean and watching the whales blow and the rays skipping thru the water. Lots of oohs and awes . No one hassling you to buy things at the beach. As with many beaches along the Baja coast just be aware it is not a swimming beach, but with all the pools looking at the beach this was not an issue. The security walking the grounds and at the front gate are friendly, helpful and definitely leave you feeling secure. For $10 usd more or less you can take an Uber right from your unit to San Jose. When booking your Uber add a note to the driver with the apartment number and the gate will let them thru to pick you up right in front of the unit- easy peasy. Very large grocery stores nearby -10 minute walk or $7 Uber more or less depending on traffic. The host Doug was absolutely fantastic, he proactively reached out before and during our visit- top notch client care.

Peaceful and Beautiful property!

We rented this condo for a week with a total of 5 adults right before Christmas. We loved that it was ground level to the pool and had a beach view, complete with colorful flowers and palm trees. It was even better than we had hoped from the pictures. The place was clean, and the host, Doug, was always available to answer questions or problems via text or email. We’ve been to SJD before, so we knew where we were in proximity to the store (La Comer) & downtown. We were able to easily walk to the supermarket, used the BBQ facilities on site to cook dinner. The security staff was always pleasant and helpful. Taxis or Uber is the best way to get to the downtown square for about $7-8 (taxi) and $4-5 (Uber). Transportation is easily accessible at the front security gate. We went fishing at the marina, enjoyed the Christmas festivities in the square, and lounged around the pool area. I would definitely stay again!! Thanks so much for sharing your lovely property. It was so beautifully decorated and furnished too.

Best place in San Jose del Cabo!

Just close all of your open VRBO tabs and book this place! It doesn't get any better than this! The owners (Doug and Barb) were fantastic to work with. The place was perfect for 6 adults (one couple, 4 friends). Just 30 steps from the patio/porch to the pool. The place was super clean and comfortable! Well supplied kitchen! Communal bbq was appreciated! Floaties provided for the pool a definite plus! Used the clean and we'll equipped gym and tennis courts daily! The convenience to everything you could want (groceries, restaurants) was amazing! I've stayed at numerous Vrbo places and this one definitely tops the list! I will be rebooking this place again - 100%
