Golden Retreat - 30A Getaway

Nestled in between Seaside and Rosemary Beach, this property sits off of Florida's renowned 30A strip. Offering two bedrooms, two baths and a view of the water from the large patio, this property is the perfect location for your 30A getaway! Exquisitely decorated, this property offers all the creature comforts of home - including washer and dryer for your convenience! A couple of things that drew us to this property was the abundance of natural light and the fact it is a short walk to the beach!

**For 2022, if you want to beach chairs and umbrellas, your options are to use the ones in the patio closet for free OR you can rent them from Vacayzen by calling or texting 888-750-7606 or email - help@vacayzen.com . There is a minimum 2 day rental on 1 set up (2 chairs and 1 umbrella) or 1 day rental on 2 set ups (4 chairs and 2 umbrellas). I recommend you get a small table for your drinks, too. 1 set up is $52 per day and they accept military and veteran discounts (10%). Make sure you call 2 days ahead of time and choose the WALTON DUNES BEACH ACCESS. It is a short walk from the Sugar Dunes/Beachside Villas boardwalk east down the beach to the other side of Sugar Dunes condos. Great experience and location!

Booked this condo for spring break with friends and it was perfect! Was able to walk to the beachy bean for coffee, and great beach access! Would stay again and recommend to others!

Perfect getaway!

Though the weather was a little cooler than we had hoped, this Golden Retreat getaway was clean, comfortable, well decorated and supplied ... and SO close to everything! The owner sent so much information to help with the stay, clearly communicating the "how to's" with check in, check out and amenity use, and even suggestions on restaurants and a link to local events. Do not hesitate to book this place!

Staying on 30A

We stayed at this property with no issues. The kids loved it and didn't want to leave. The owners were awesome at communicating with us and the check in and out process was so simple. This property was very clean ,we would love to stay again ❤️ I recommend this property to anyone!!

We had a blast during our stay at Golden Retreat!! It is in the perfect location and was just the right size for the 4 of us. Just steps away from the beach too! We hope to be back real soon!!!

Great stay in a great location!

We had a quick (but wonderful) stay at this little retreat on 30a! It's got everything you will need. We did not spend a lot of time inside as we were at the beach all day every day. Matt and Nicole's place had all the extras for the beach as well. They had plenty of chairs and other beach accessories. The beds were comfy and well thought out. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location and nice condo!

We had a great stay at seagrove beach with our kids this past week! Our host, Nicole was so friendly, very quick to respond and gave us lots of recommendations. one of the best things about staying at her place is she provides full size toiletries for showers, including hand soap, plenty of tide pods to do some laundry and extra towels. that is such a bonus while traveling. Her location is perfect. Just a few steps from the beach. We enjoyed it and hope to be back!

Perfect Location, clean but small apartment

Just a few steps from the gulf, as well es heated pool makes it worth to stay in this location, especially with younger kids. It was clean, but a bit cramped. It says sleeps six, but this is really a big stretch. We’re 3 adults, one child and the weather was great. We spent most time outside. The closets in the bedroom are full with stuff, it was hard to find a space for our cloth and suitcases. We ended up putting some back into the car. This needs some improvement. Other than that, we had a great time, and found everything we needed. Thanks to the owners.

Lovely place ! Great location

We really enjoy the stay . The owner was so lovely and checked on us to make sure we make it ok and also reminded us on steps before leaving. We will for sure come back .

Not suited for 5 people

The location of the property was great. There were AC issues and the property owner did all he could to communicate and get portable AC units into the unit which was great. However, we have a family of 5 and were counting on the two queen beds in the other room as listed. The beds are FULL sized not queen so my son had to sleep on an air mattress in the already small living area. The owner did apologize for this and said he would adjust the listing for future renters. Considering the AC was out and we had portable AC units in an already very small space and that the beds were not as listed, I really thought an offer of some sort of refund would have sufficed. We did receive many apologies but never that option. Also a heads up that there is no pantry or place to put any groceries or kitchen essentials so in addition to this unit being 900 sq ft, my son sleeping in the living area, and 2 portable AC units, we had to use all of the kitchen counter space and part of the dining table for those things. Overall the amount we paid to stay did not equal out to the quality of the experience for us. This unit will sleep 4 comfortably unless you have very small children that can comfortably share a full sized bed and/or sleeping someone on the couch and living space. Again, the owners were very nice and apologetic but we felt one nights rent or something should have been offered to make up for all of the inconvenience for the paid price.

Happy beach condo

This was my second time staying here in this exact condo. Perfect spot! Simple and Beachy vibes. Very convenient with a toddler as well… only thing was “beachside villas” security told us we only had 1 specific spot for us on the beach and the rest was private ( still sat where we wanted and did not get fined) just want the owners to be aware of that issue. Love this spot and we will be back :)

Lovely Beach Condo

My family had a wonderful time - the condo was clean and in a great location! 10-15 minutes to both Seaside & Rosemary, and lots of places to eat only a 5 minute drive away. We loved having the golf cart shuttle take us back in forth to the beach. It was a lifesaver when carrying lots of things & small children!

1st floor quaint and cozy condo with a gulf view and is perfectly placed on 30A Seagrove Beach just minutes from Rosemary Beach, Alys Beach and Seaside. Only 100 easy steps to the white sugar sand and 1 block to the Eastern Lake entrance. Perfect location to watch the sunrise over Panama City and sunset over the water by Destin. Heated pool, 2 tennis courts, outdoor grills and friendly neighbors, make Beachside Villas a destination over the past 30+ years.
