This beautiful 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath Villa is a dream! No

In an unbeatable location, this house is located on Chalk Sound with kayak access. It is located directly across the beach from the entrance to Sapodilla Bay and a short walk to Taylor Bay, two of the most beautiful beaches on the planet. Sapodilla Bay, one of the most gorgeous--and largely underappreciated--beaches on Turks is literally across the street. It is a 10 minute drive from the airport, 15 min drive from Grace Bay, 30 second walk to Sapodilla Bay and 2 minute walk to award winning restaurant, Las Brisas.

The house is outfitted with high chair, bibs, baby spoons and cups, and a wagon full of beach toys! It’s close proximity to the beach makes naps easy. Did I mention there is a dipping pool and small beach area? Early risers? No problem! Sneak those rascals into the main pod while the others sleep in!

The house is divided into two pods- a main pod and a living pod. The main pod has a kitchen, dining set, couches and TV with a half bath. The living pod has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The Master Suite has one king bed. The other suite has and two twin beds that can be configured into a king as well as twin bunk beds and can comfortably sleep up to 6. The wraparound deck connecting the pods is gorgeous to sit and enjoy the sun or relax at dusk. 2 Kayaks (1 single, 1 double) are available for guest use.

If you are looking for more space or traveling with other families, we can put you in touch with the immediate neighbors to book the neighboring Villa with the same footprint as well or others in the area.

Villa Serene was the perfect name for this property. It is the perfect place to escape and experience true serenity.

Great Place

Great location with access to Sopadilla Bay and Chalk Sound. Quiet and beautiful. Great kitchen and common area setup. Nice little pool to get into after being in the sun on the beach all day. Will definitely be going back

Mostly quiet getaway on Chalk Sound

The property was consistent with the photos. We enjoyed our mostly quiet stay. There was some noise from the beach across the street until late one night but was mostly quiet. Nice restaurant within walking distance. Pool was not big but was big enough. Small beach on sound. Easy check in and out. Second picture is the beach across the street.

Amazing Stay

Amazing location. Loved being right on Chalk Sound, beautiful views and great kayaking. Having the two best beaches (Sapodilla Bay and Taylor Beach) right there makes this such a convenient location. The house had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our stay. loved having the deck all around the property and multiple seating areas. Would definitely recommend and come back!

Peaceful retreat!

Gorgeous view it the sound and enjoyed the constant breeze allowing for open air and no need for air conditioning. Property manger was very responsive and property exceeded our expectations. Loved having orubate parking with easy walkable access to the beach right across the street. Will definitely be back to visit again!

Great family home

We loved our stay! It was so great to be in a home with a kitchen so we didn’t have to always eat out. The location was stellar - we woke up every morning to the million dollar view of Chalk Sound. The beach was across the street and I was thrilled to not be staying on the beach because they played loud music all day and we like the peace. It was a 15 min drive to the Grace Bay area with all the tourist trappings, so it’s best to rent a car. We loved it and would stay again.

We especially liked the quiet setting and the beautiful scenes at Sapodilla Beach and overlooking Chalk Sound. Our only difficulty was the flat tire we experienced on the not so well maintained roads.

Amazing location, adorable home, incredible price

I cannot say enough great things about Villa Serene! Perfect for a couple, perfect for a family and the location can’t be beat. It really is 30 seconds from Sapodilla. I would recommend this place to everyone I know and would definitely stay there again. It’s very obvious the owner loves this home very much and wants to make sure anyone who stays in it feels equally loved!

Couldn’t have picked a better rental. Absolutely stunning views of chaulk sound and the home was more than perfect with all the amenities plus some! Steps from Las Brisas and Sapodilla Bay Beach, we loved this location. 5 stars for sure and would return here in a heartbeat. Fantastic location to Sapodilla Bay + Chalk Sound

From booking to check out, everyone was very responsive and answered all my questions. The property was conveniently located being walking distance to Sapodilla Bay and Chalk Sound was accessible right from our back yard. The restaurant Las Brisas next door was also convenient for one of our evening dinners. The house had everything we needed. It had a perfect small lounging pool and spacious kitchen. Paddle board and kayak along with other pool toys were a great enhancement to our stay. Thank you to Julian, Tamika, Jona and the entire team for a fantastic visit.

Overview

I’ve stayed in many VBRO but this is the first time I’m leaving a comment. Very strange property as bedrooms are in a separate building. Very clean and check in was very easy. Messed up safe and got assistance in 30 minutes.

My Happy Place

Our stay was great. The house was just as pictured, lots of windows, great views, and very comfortable. Plenty of bath linens and beach towels. Kitchen was well stocked. Good amount of seating both inside and out. The pool was really nice. Sopadilla Beach entrance was across the street. Taylor Bay Beach was a 2 minute drive. Las Brisas was a short walk. We did experience mosquitos, never had an issue before so I am not sure if it was the time of year or that we were right on the sound with some still water. I would definitely recommend this place. Sorry we had to leave!

As Advertised

House was spacious, deck was awesome, pool was great to cool off in, beds were very comfortable, kayaks ready to go, snorkel equipment ready to go, BBQ grill worked well, etc. Overall, very happy with this place. The only very minor things are to bring are your own coffee (ground mine at the IGA grocery store), your own shampoo (there isn't any), and we used cupcake pans for a cookie sheet. Very minor. Las Brisas restaurant next door was really good, too, and crazy convenient.

Villa on Chalk Sound

We enjoyed our stay at the villa serene on Chalk Sound! The property is exactly as described and the host and property management were easy to communicate with. Highlights included easy walking access to LaBrisas restaurant and the adjoining Neptune Villas which had tasty food and gorgeous views. A car is essential at this property and we found ourselves a 15 minute drive from Grace Bay and other areas we explored. The small beach across the street (Sapodilla) had gorgeous sunsets and calm warm waters, but sadly lots of litter and trash, and overcrowded chairs for rent, due to the vendors, so we didn’t frequent that spot. The kayaks and paddle board made exploring Chalk Sound an awesome and easy adventure.

Serene indeed!

Where to begin on our amazing stay at Villa Serene! The location alone deserves mention. You are within walking distance to some of the most gorgeous beaches and water in Turks and Caicos: Sopadilla Bay, Taylor Bay, and Chalk Sound National Park. You can also walk to Las Brisas - a fantastic restaurant with AMAZING views. They also offer a 2x hour pontoon boat ride with snorkeling for $70/ per person (unheard of in Turks and Caicos!) that we could not recommend enough - it was our favorite part of our trip and we could walk there from the villa! The villa itself has everything you will need for a comfortable stay! The kitchen is fully stocked and there are things like beach chairs, snorkel gear, life vests, beach towels, bath towels, children's games, etc. There are also kayaks and a paddle board for use. We took the kayaks out in the crystal clear Chalksound (your backyard!) and it was incredible! We saw some great wildlife as well - iguanas and great bird watching! Most importantly, the villa provided a local management contact, Julian, who was incredibly kind and helpful. He met us at the house as soon as we landed from the airport to show us around the accommodations and make sure we were comfortable - even providing complementary beer and snacks. Throughout the trip, he offered suggestions for activities and also attended to any of our needs promptly. Thank you Julian! Don't hesitate to book this villa - we would return in a heartbeat!

Perfect for families!

This was a wonderful location and property for our family. The sleeping area was very comfortable (bring a monitor if your kids go to sleep early), the kitchen was well equipped, and the pool was perfect. It’s about 4 feet deep but there were life jackets for our new swimmer. We loved to kayak out to see the iguanas on the island!

Beautiful home with incredible view

Villa Serene was the perfect spot to call “home base” for my family of 4’s first trip to TCI. The footprint is unique being in two separate buildings. I liked that each bedroom had its own private full bath, as well as a half bath in the main living space. The kitchen was fully stocked. Small but comfortable space for watching TV, but we never did. WiFi wasn’t great in the sleeping pod, but no problems at all in the main living space. The pictures don’t do the view of Chalk Sound justice-it’s incredible in person. We used the kayaks and paddle boards. It was great to be directly across the street from Sapodilla Beach. The restaurant Las Brisas is next door and was delicious. Check out Omar’s nearby for lunch or dinner-that was our favorite dining spot. Island main roads are all paved including travel to the villa, but we were glad to have rented a Jeep as we like to explore and some of the roads are quite bumpy!! House location was great because we were away from the busy Grace Bay Area, but everything we wanted to do was no more than a 15-20 minute drive. The property owner and property management group were wonderful to work with. Highly communicative and quick to respond to any questions we had. We appreciated receiving a detailed welcome packet ahead of time which helped us plan our week-long stay with the owner’s recommendations and in some cases discounts! Fantastic space, great location

We had an amazing stay at Villa Serene. Really perfect set up for our family with 2 kids, age 5 and 7. Very convenient location, across the street from Sapodilla Bay Beach and a short walk to Las Brisas restaurant. Kids had a great time in the pool.

Unbelievable stay!

We had an amazing time at this spectacular villa! From morning coffees on the deck overlooking the turquoise ocean, watching the family kayaking off the sandy shore of this oasis, to jet skiing on the beautiful sapodilla bay beach (entrance was a one minute walk from the front of the house) this house must an unbelievable find. Beds were comfortable, pool was amazing and house was lovely, stocked full of family games we played at night. We will definitely be back!

Best of Sapodilla Bay & Chalk Sound

We were looking for a home near Sapodilla Bay, and this home was perfect for our stay. We had visited Turks and Caicos previously and knew what we wanted for location and amenities in this trip, and Villa Serene met them all. What we loved about the property: - The location right across the street from the beach entrance - The view of Chalk Sound, including the mangroves where the property sits. We watched the jelly fish near the shore and marveled at the changing colors of the sound - Kayak access to Chalk Sound - The pool for quick dips - Great deck where we spent all of our non-beach and non-sleeping time - Good kitchen that allowed us to make and store our meals - Private parking - Proximity to Las Brisas for the option of restaurant food - We were three adults, and we appreciated that we could each have separate beds. I can see how families would really love this place, too - Onsite laundry - Supply of beach towels and chairs - Option for a/c ($100 credit to provide a/c at night, but we ended up not needing a/c at all) - Excellent communication with the hosts before and during the stay We do not have anything bad to say about Villa Serene or the hosts, and as I said, this home was exactly what we were looking for. For those looking at this property, what I would offer is that this is NOT Grace Bay. If you want a hotel with a large pool directly on the beach, or if you want to be in the heart of restaurants and shopping, Gracy Bay is where you should be. If you want the solitude of Sapodilla and self-service in a home with a kitchen, then Villa Serene is it!

I have traveled to Turks and Caicos many times now, often with my two young boys. We discovered Turks in 2014 and stayed on Grace Bay, which was great. We thought that was paradise until we we discovered Sapodilla Bay, which was simply perfection. If you want to truly escape, there is no better place than Villa Serene. When I learned it was listed for purchase, I was ecstatic and had to make this dream happen. I purchased the property in 2021 and made significant renovations (all updated furniture, vanities, ceiling fans, lighting, and a fresh coat or three of paint to name a few). I visit at least 2-3 times a year and love sharing this dream come true with my guests. I hope you love the place as much as I do!

This property is everything we could have hoped for! Kayak access to the sound! Steps away from the most amazing beach (and rather unappreciated if you ask us!). It is perfect for families! As a young family, we loved the ease of this place! There is room to wander, privacy for sleeping in, enough to keep the kids busy and close enough to bring sleepy babies home for a nap by yourself!

LOCATION!!! It absolutely can't be beat. The villa has a small private beach with access to Chalk Sound--still waters, nice breeze, perfect for kayaking and a visit to tiny Iguana Island--and literally across the street is Sapodilla Bay--white sands, warm clear water that is shallow and calm, perfect for young kids!
