Sweet Spot

Thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay. The unit was well appointed and very comfortable for the two of us. Really liked the deck and pool area. Lorraine and Pete were wonderful hosts. They were responsive and had very helpful tips on places to eat and visit. Great location as well. Just a short walk to Washington Street mall and the beach.

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is adorable…and clean. We thought the outside music was really really nice. Lorraine and Pete are great hosts. We hope we can come back next year.

Sweet retreat near the beach

This is an ideally located, clean and comfortable apartment with beautiful backyard and pool access. When the noise and sun of the beach wore us out, we were happy to retreat to this wonderfully kept back yard to enjoy the serene quiet of the pool. The hosts (who live downstairs) were friendly and generous with beer and recommendations. We'd come again in a heartbeat! Note that driveway parking isn't included but free street parking is available. We parked a block away the first night, moved to an open spot the next morning, and didn't move our vehicle until we left. Five blocks from the beach; five blocks from Washington St. Mall.

Cape May Getaway

AMAZING!- Lorraine and her husband are so hospitable, and their property is gorgeous! The pool was relaxing and the apartment was super cute and so clean. We wanted for nothing while there. It is also in the PERFECT location if you enjoy walking. It is close to the beach, the Washington Mall, and so many delicious restaurants. We can't wait to book our next stay!

Birthday Get-A-Way

What a perfect weekend! Lorraine and Pete were amazing hosts with a beautiful home. They were both helpful and informative with restaurants, beaches and fun things to do in Cape May! The house was minutes walking from the shopping mall and beach! We were able to park the car for the weekend and get around by foot for almost everything! My girlfriend and I were able to celebrate her birthday with good food, good music and relaxing vibes. Definitely will be back!!

Really a great location with very hospitable hosts! (We had delicious tomatoes from their garden!!) We walked almost everywhere, but did spend a lot of time on the deck and in the pool. Highly recommend!

Great little getaway

Lorraine and Pete were the best hosts! They made traveling alone very comfortable and they were very accommodating and friendly. The property was very clean and quiet. The house is in a great location- just a short walk from everything you could possibly need. Being able to spend time and enjoy the backyard pool (and the dogs!) was an added bonus. I would highly recommend this property and these hosts to anyone looking for a Cape May getaway.

Highly recommended!

The apartment is like something out of a magazine. Clean, comfortable, modern, beautiful, ideal for two people. Well located, close to the beach, shops and restaurants and to the center of town. Lorraine and her husband were simply lovely and very helpful. We had a great stay and we Looking forward to go back next year!

Girls' Getaway

My friend and I spent a fabulous long weekend at this perfect gem of a Cape May rental. The property was immaculate, true to description, and the hosts were so incredibly generous and accommodating-making themselves available for any questions and offering suggestions of both food places and activities! The pool area was such a quiet, peaceful oasis to just relax and unwind! We were also located within walking distance to just about anywhere. It was such a lovely stay, and we will certainly be planning a return trip!

Hidden Gem in Cape May

The apartment was even better in person than in pictures. It was clean and nicely decorated. The host and hostess were very accommodating and friendly. Although our stay was cut short because of illness, we were there long enough to enjoy the pool, which was so nice on a hot day. We hope to return soon.

Wonderful Place to Stay!

This property was perfect! Exactly as listed on Vrbo. It was very clean and cozy and had everything you could need. It was in the perfect location as well--very close walk to the Washington Street promenade and beaches. The pool out back was the perfect place to float and relax! The hosts were great with communication! We definitely recommend booking with them as we will be again when we visit Cape May in the future. Thanks for your hospitality!!

Delightful Cape May property

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed a three day stay with this listing. Lovely apartment on 2nd floor of a home Small pool on the property was great on warm and humid days in Sept! Hosts provided tips on eating places which worked out very nicely for us. We walked to breakfast and the beach. Would surelyystay again if travelling through Cape May.

Fantastic location and wonderful host!

I would highly recommend this property and host for anyone looking to explore the Cape May area. It is within walking distance to the outdoor quaint mall and the beach. Lots of options for activities, restaurants and shopping. The property itself was very clean and cozy and had everything we needed right there. Nice to come home after a long, hot day and jump into the sweet pool in the backyard.

Wonderful mother-daughter trip

My mother and I enjoyed a wonderful getaway. We love Cape May, and the location was so convenient to the shops and a short walk to the beach. The apartment was lovely, had all the amenities we were looking for, and extremely clean and well maintained! We loved the deck that overlooks the pool, and spent many hours there in the morning enjoying our coffee and in the evenings enjoying a glass of wine. We would definitely stay there again.

Cape May Stay

Lorraine and her husband Pete were wonderful hosts! They were friendly and accommadating but not at all intrusive. We spent some time one evening with them and enjoyed ourselves very much! The apartment we stayed in was updated, clean & comfortable and provived all the basics that you need in the kitchen, bathroom, etc. I would highly recommend this property and hopefully we will have the opportunity to stay with them again!
