The host was always responsive to my questions, cheerful too! The area is small big enough for 2. It can sleep 4, but if someone slept in the pull out the table and balcony would be blocked.The Condo overlooks a lush garden. It’s a two minute walk to driftwood beach park area to the left. To the right are quite a few area that have a bridge going over the rocks. At low tide perfect sandy beaches with beautiful sand. No sharp stones, seaweed just sweet sand! The water in September was perfection.We don’t do the same area 2 x. We will return with some e-bikes. . That is the best way to explore this paradise! The condo was perfect in so many ways.

A great little place to escape to

A cozy condo just a short walk from driftwood beach. Overall, had a great stay, the bathroom and bedroom were larger than expected and the balcony was nice.

Great location, very small unit for more than 2 people, could do with new mattress in bedroom, a memory foam would make a huge difference. The sofa bed was absolutely awful, so bad we had to put the mattress on the floor. The non stick frying pans were in desperate need of replacement, only 2 sharp knives. Front room rug needs to be taped down as it shifted very easily and could potentially cause a fall. The shower has no pressure at all but water was at least hot. Another lovely touch was the shampoo, conditioner and shower gel provided. A few upgrades and i would book this place every time we visit Jekyll Island

Great location

Great place to get away to the beach. It’s small but cozy and directly across from the beach. Family friendly, playground outside by patio. Very fun.

First night we didn’t have power for several hours as there was a huge storm that knocked out half the island but we know that was no fault of the owner. The place was super nice and relaxing. The pool was amazing and the staff around the villas were super friendly.

Golf tournament Indian Mound

Location is great proximity to golf course (and restaurants, market, historic area). Villa was great for our purposes. Bed was comfortable, shower had good pressure and hot water. Kitchenette is well equipped.

Great location, very clean

We traveled to Jekyll Island to watch our son golf in a college tournament. This location was convenient and the unit provided everything we needed for our 4 night stay. Clean and nicely decorated too. We will definitely be back for next year’s tournament!

Great communication and location

The property manager was very prompt in regards to communication. This villa is located in close proximity to Driftwood Beach, Sea Turtle Center, etc. We would recommend this property to others.

Location relative to the beach was great and property was well equipped. The mattress was a little saggy and we didn't have access to the pool. .

Squeaky clean, super comfy and totally updated, your cheery, upstairs condo at Villas by the Sea provides the perfect home base for experiencing the coastal way of life that defines Jekyll Island. And since you’re on the top floor, there are no heavy footsteps to be heard overhead during your stay. The Villas resort boasts the Jekyll Island accommodations closest to legendary Driftwood Beach, which is a short walk (just a few hundred yards) up the shoreline. Meanwhile, down by the Villas’ own lengthy stretch of beach, there is a wide, sandy promenade perfect for strolling and sunbathing, as well as an inviting new boardwalk and accompanying pavilion – complete with deck chairs – for getting into the laid-back, Jekyll Island state of mind. (Unit also provides beach chairs, beach umbrellas and beach towels for your use.) The 17-acre Villas resort complex has a large outdoor pool (open 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day; pool towels provided) with an adjoining kiddie pool, picnic area and fire pit.
