Spectacular Lakefront Cabin on 12 acres on Friends Lake

A spacious lake house nestled in 12 acres of pristine Adirondack woods. Watch the loons on the lake and the deer from the porch. Three bedroom, four bath cabin sleeps 20 (finished basement sleeps 10 kids or smaller adults in bunks). New gourmet kitchen with 2 refrigerators and 6-burner stove; 2 paddle boards, 2 kayaks and a canoe available seasonally; 2 fire pits, spectacular stone-laid twin fireplace, pool/ping pong table, grill; 20 minutes to Gore Mountain for skiing. Firewood (25 logs/night) provided, docks removed seasonally. Friday-Friday rentals over summer. Pets $50/pet/night. Please submit ID with reservation request. No parties.

We had an amazing stay at this cabin. The property is beautiful, well maintained, and exactly as described. The lakefront setting is peaceful and offers stunning views, making it the perfect place to relax and disconnect.The amenities were in excellent condition, everything was clean and well organized, and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was very welcoming, responsive, and helpful throughout our visit.We truly enjoyed our time here and would absolutely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a quiet and memorable getaway. We would love to come back!

We loved staying at the cabin. It had ample living spaces, beds for everyone, large kitchen and then some! Loved sitting on the covered porch and drinking our morning coffee. Fire pit was huge with fresh firewood provided. Short walk to the lake front which had lots of equipment (kayaks/paddle boards/etc) ready to go! Felt very private which was a plus. The pool table was a big hit as well. We will definitely be booking again in the future! Host was very very responsive and helped us recover lost AirPods after our stay. I would recommended the cabin to anyone looking for a fun lake holiday!

Great Property

Very secluded, kids had a blast sledding in the backyard and walking on the frozen lake. Convenient 20 minute ride away from Gore Mountain.

Beautiful place to stay

House was lovely, cozy and well-decorated with an adirondack feel. Rooms were clean and spacious. Recreation room was great for kids. Waterfront was fun for fishing and Kayaking. Firepit was huge and kids loved making smores there. Kitchen was spacious with ample refrigerator size. Great vacation spot for a large group! Owner was very responsive and checkout/in was easy. Would definitely stay again!

Friends Lake Family trip

We had a great week at the cabin at Friends Lake. Everything was as expected from what Lisa had listed. We had a storm knock out power and a tree that that came down during the storm, and Lisa was very quick to respond and help out! Great home, great time!

Coming home to Friends Lake

Very comfortable. Plenty of amenities. A paddle boat would be a great addition. Unable to use fireplace, flue backed up, would not open.

We didn’t want to leave- seriously

From before renting- communication was amazing and that carried through our stay. Our family of age rages of 3-69 fully enjoyed our stay. First floor is fully( main floor with two bedrooms with a walk in shower) handicapped accessible- toilets are a bit low. So very clean and kitchen is indeed fully equipped! Easy house “rules” although not really rules- just proper way of living. We ALL can’t wait for our next stay. My only recommendation- is to post more pictures to get a true sense of what this place has to offer

Had a Great time at the House ! The lake was amazing , water was perfect. The House comfortably slept 16 men with room to spare ! Just a side of caution for any future motorcycle riders . The drive way from the main road is gravel and sand and slopes down towards the lake so I only recommend experienced riders book this house if riding motorcycles . Other then that , the house is beautiful and well kept . It had absolutely everything anyone would need to relax , bbq, cook , bathe, and sleep !

A couple of comments: 1. Property is on expensive side and you expect that the owner will not chase you down with cleaning expenses or will miss that you are traveling with a pet 2. There are no clear signs at the dirt road to property and it is hard to find especially if you arrive later after darkness 3. The trash bin is at the top of the dirt road and only driving from the house. If you use recycling at home this is not the case in the area. All should go in trash, but there is no clear guidance on that. 4. The birch tree at the dock is dead and in poor condition a huge chunk of wood fell down on the sitting area during our stay. I recommend to take it down for safety reasons (fire and debris hazards)

Property is exactly as listed.

My family has been visiting Lake George twice a year for over 7 years. We always stayed at the same resort on Lake George. Our family are all growing up so fast and we have outgrown the large condo we always stayed at and decided to rent a house. This beautiful lake house was beyond perfect. The home is huge and truly sleeps 20 people in actual beds! The property was very clean and truly beautifully decorated to provide a homey feel rather than the minimalistic/touristy feel of many other home rentals we have stayed in provide. Fully stocked kitchen with more than enough dish ware and pans and important items we always forget to bring. We will be returning again. When talking about next year, my adult grandchildren clearly stated they wanted to come back to this property. Thank you for the use of your stunning home.

Post-Wedding Weekend Win

Lisa's property allowed my wife and I to spend a lovely weekend away from everything with a group of our friends. The cabin's kitchen, rec room, fire pits, and dock were all fantastic places to spend quality time and enjoy each other's company.

Beautiful & Relaxing

Our family enjoyed a wonderful week of kayaking, canoeing, swimming and fishing at the lake. The house fit our needs perfectly. The deck was a favorite hangout every morning drinking coffee and reading or at the end of a relaxing day enjoying our evening meals together. The large yard and fire pit were a big plus. When our week was over, no one wanted to leave. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home.
