Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Enjoy this once upon a time bed and breakfast located lakefront on one of the Adirondacks most peaceful private lakes. This home offers 3 separate apartments each consisting of 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, and a kitchen. And a main common room also with a kitchen. This is the perfect get away for large families or multiple families who wish to stay together. A truly amazing place to enjoy all seasons in the Adirondacks.

The lake view was absolutely beautiful! The separate apartment areas worked really well for our family. This getaway was cosy and calming. We enjoyed our stay very much!

We had an excellent stay this weekend. The space was plenty big enough for 9 of us. The lake access was the highlight of the weekend. It was nice and private with all the necessary amenities. Stores and hiking were all very close. I’d be happy to stay here again!

Family Reunion Vacation

We stayed here in the 70's as kids. It was nice then and its better now. Everything I remembered it as with modern comforts. Only positive things to say and we hope to be back next summer.

Title: A cherished family tradition at Friends LakeThis was our third year staying at Mimi’s ByThe Lake on Friends Lake, and it’s officially become a family tradition we all look forward to.The house is spacious, comfortable, and perfectly set up for families of all ages. We love gathering around the fire pit in the evenings and spending our days at the dock - whether it’s fishing, swimming, kayaking, or just relaxing by the water.Chris is always helpful and a very responsive host, and the home is always clean and well-maintained.There’s plenty of room for everyone to spread out, but also lots of great spaces to come together.We’ve made so many special memories here over the years and are already counting down to next year’s trip. Can’t recommend this spot enough!

Wonderful place to stay with family!

We had an amazing time staying here. The owners were very communicative and the property was awesome. It was perfect for an extended family getaway as it is set up as 3 apartments (each w/ bathroom and kitchen and 2 bedrooms) with a common area that had a kitchen, living, and dining area. It was right on the water with a great beach and amazing views. Highly recommend!

Family memories

Our family all comes home for our vacation at Mimi’s. The house gives each family their own privacy and the common areas are great for meals, games, and relaxing! The children love the beach and we adults love the beautiful, serene setting. We are already talking about next year’s trip.

Great lake house!

We were 3 families with 4 children. The separate quarters were perfect but also common areas. House is exactly as described. Perfect having our own beach, use of kayaks, fire pit. Was an awesome vacation!

Fantastic property with tons of room for grandparents, parents and teenage kids! Teenagers had their own space for movies and gaming, grandparents had peace and quiet for reading and watching the news. Internet was great and capable of streaming movies and supporting 7 devices. The multiple kitchens with extra refrigerator space was amazing and made cooking for a large family gathering very easy! Main kitchen was very well stocked with kitchen equipment, a keurig, and a spice cabinet. TOPS store only 3 miles away if you forget anything. The back porch was our favorite space, huge screened in area with multiple seating areas, great for peaceful afternoon naps too! Lots of parking space, even for a full size truck with an enclosed trailer. Able to drive down to the water to launch boat/kayaks. Of note, no cell service or internet before you get into the house and connect to the Wifi, so make sure to write down the door access code or screenshot it before you get there.

Beautiful lakeside stay!!

We had the best stay at this beautiful house located right on Friends lake. The views from the house were stunning! The lake was very clean, we swam it in every day! We enjoyed the kayaks provided by the owner along with life jackets and outdoor games. There was also a floating dock that the kids(of all ages) loved to swim to & the sun setting on the lake was an added bonus! The fire pit area was nicely set up on a platform with solar lights all around it! The house was extremely clean with lots a space for a larger size group.. We enjoyed the screened in porch that over looked the lake! The owner was attentive and answered any questions we had upon request. Lake George & Six flags Great Adventure is a quick car ride away. Overall we were very happy with our stay and can’t wait to return!
