Ma'alaea Surf, Unit F6 is a townhouse unit situated on the second floor offering guest total privacy. With the latest in contemporary upgrades, this gorgeous unit features a fully furnished modern kitchen and the convenience of a second bedroom and bath. It features central AC, Wi-Fi, TV, two outdoor pools, tennis, pickleball courts, convenient parking, BBQ areas and washer/dryers onsite located in guest laundry rooms on property.

Relax and enjoy the ocean views and Maui's beautiful sunsets from your spacious private patio (lanai). The maximum occupancy allowed in this unit is six. All units at Maalaea Surf are non-smoking.

Our property is NOT impacted by the recent news regarding potential short-term rental (STR) restrictions in Maui. Because we are zoned as a hotel property, we are exempt from the County of Maui's proposed STR regulations.

A Wonderful Vacation!

Maui in & of itself is beautiful but when traveling, accommodations make a big difference to any getaway. We loved the unit, the location, the beach access, and working with Megan. She is the perfect host! All of these made for a great & relaxing vacation. We loved all of it!

Amazing!

Just an absolutely perfect location! Loved the view and the farmers market was within walking distance. Kihei was close by for groceries. So easy to drive anywhere on the island from this spot. Would highly recommend this rental!!!

Beautiful setting

This was a great place. Downstair bedroom was a little deceiving with pictures.. thought there was at least a full bed and twin but it only had two twins ..we made do thanks to Target! Great place to make memories with the grandkids.. easy walks on the beach!

Great location, beautiful property, owners welcoming and helpful

This was our second stay at Maalaea Surf, and we loved this property. Well stocked and comfortable. Beautiful living room and kitchen, and it was fun to be on the big pool side. Owners were quick to answer any questions (we didn't have many!) and the kitchen was well equipped with cookware and even some basic spices. Thoroughly enjoyed it all. Thank you!

Fabulous condo with great view!

Also played pickleball and shuffle board daily. The ocean in this area is pretty calm with smaller waves. It was perfect and we will probably book again the next time we are in Maui! The communication was on point with the management team for sure too! I highly recommend this place for your next vacay.

Another Lovely Stay at Ma'alaea Surf!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Took my mom for her 70th birthday and we had such a wonderful, relaxing time! Condo was well stocked with beach and kitchen items. It even had a Keurig! Bathrooms were very nicely updated, the upstairs bedroom was very comfortable. We liked the furnishings and the grounds are A+! Loved walking the property, smelling the flowers, enjoying the pool and beach! Minor list of complaints: slider and screen doors were very hard to open/close, the carpet in the main area was stained, the shade and one of the lamps in the downstairs bedroom could use some work. However, I'd stay there again in a heartbeat. Great, great place!

Fabulous Maalae Surf Resort Condo

We absolutely loved our stay at the Maalae Surf Resort Condo E-1. The condo was perfect for us! The location is wonderful (close to airport, aquarium, Kealia National Wildlife Refuge, Humpback Whale reserve, Paia and Wailea). We loved being ten steps away from the longest beach on Maui! The condo itself is very clean, well stocked, beds super comfortable and Cathy is a pleasure! There were quite a few other families staying at Maalae but it was always peaceful and pleasant. My son enjoyed boogie boarding with some of the other kids on the beach or swimming in the pool. We loved being able to walk to get shave ice and visit the bakery. A real highlight was also going paddling with our friends at the Kihei Canoe Club. We were so sad that our trip went by so fast and can't wait to go back soon. Thank you Cathy for sharing your home with our family we felt very at home and relaxed. Mahalo!

Our stay was perfect. The unit is beautiful and the view is surreal. We had such a relaxing time. We walked the beach everyday, had coffee and pastries at the delicious bakery across the street. We snorkeled, paddle boarded and looked at sea life in tide pools right outside our door, who could ask for more? The kitchen is fully stocked with modern cookware. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with tropical flora and the pools were never crowded. (In fact we had them to ourselves a few times.) We saw amazing sunsets on the beach as well as from our unit. The staff was super friendly. This unit and resort are a find and a great value. Make sure you go to the Sugar Beach Bakery; everything is good. Also, the Hawaiian Shave Ice across the street is the best on the island. We also really liked a nearby restaurant called Nalu's which has live music with a Hawaiian vibe. Megan and Ken have done a fabulous job updating the unit. We are definitely staying in F6 again!

Wonderful Property!

We really enjoyed our stay here in this beautiful property! The condo was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The beds were comfy and we were so glad it had AC. The view is incredible! We loved opening the big porch doors and hearing the ocean waves. The pool is a bit cold for my taste but my kids enjoyed it every day. We had a few windy days when we first arrived but by the end of our stay it was perfect. The wind does seem to pick up more in this location but it's not bad. It was so nice to be able to zip up to Lahaina and head south to Wailea so easily. The location is fantastic! We loved walking to the bakery in the morning and grabbing masaladas and pies (for later). So yummy! The shave ice place is amazing as is the farmer's market right there. It's all so convenient! The beach is great for walking and running. We loved exploring the tide tools about a mile north on the beach. So fun! The beach toys, chairs and towels were so appreciated! Would definitely stay here again!

Truly perfect for our family

What a beautiful, comfortable and convenient place to be! We don't take many vacations and this was our first as a family of four with a 3.5 and a 1.5 year old in tow. So many things about the condo made it easy to relax there with them: they slept amazingly well in the back bedroom, there was carpet in the living room to play and tumble on, they LOVED the lanai which was very safe, and we simply blocked off the spiral staircase with a chair. We cooked meals there and had everything we needed for cook/dishware. Halfway through our stay we discovered beach toys, pool toys, a high chair and pack n play (but we had already rented a high chair, potty chair, life vests, and crib with Akamai Rentals which I would also highly recommend!). The view is stunning. The only thing between the lanai and the beach, is the pool, and like the description says the property is small compared to most so it's not much of a distance! We explored the island a lot and took long drives but we also went to our own beach at least twice a day! It was as nice as any we visited and never crowded in the least. I can't say enough about how well it all worked for us, so if you're looking for an easy and beautifual spot with the kiddos, this is it. Though it would be all those things without kids too! We hope to come back in the future.

Great condo, great view!

We had an amazing time at this condo! It was clean, comfortable and very functional. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals for our family of 4. It also had a small supply of things we needed while we were there like dish soap, dishwasher soap, laundry pods, paper towel, cling wrap, spices, etc. (which saved us the annoyance of having to buy them while we were there). We really appreciated the beach chairs, beach toys and boogie boards that were in the condo. It was amazing to wake up to this view every morning and be able to watch the whales during breakfast. The resort is beautiful and very well maintained. The pool was very clean and well-used by my kids. I found it colder than the ocean but my kids didn't seem to mind! Everyone we talked to at the resort was very friendly. It's a small, quiet resort and has a farmer's market, shave ice, bakery and ABC store within just a few minutes walk. It's in a great location to get anywhere in Maui. We had about 4 days of our stay that were ridiculously windy (the beach was out of the question because we'd get sandblasted, literally). It seemed like this area of Kihei was windier than the more southern part of Kihei/Wailea. So on these really windy days we just explored beaches that were south of us and they seemed a bit less windy. Hope to make it back someday! Aloha!

It was quiet, but close to lots of things and easy to get anywhere on the island. We watched the sunrise on Haleakala, drove the road to Hana, went snorkeling in three different gorgeous coves and just chilled by the beach under the giant tree on the condo property. The only thing I would have liked to be different would be that the downstairs bedroom would have a king bed instead of twins.

They have everything you need to cook and a smoothie blender that worked well. Had boogie boards, snorkels, cooler and beach towels. This is simple but there are lots of hooks to hang towels, swimsuits, bags, etc. the lanai is glorious especially in the morning. We loved the location of this resort being right across from the bakery and ululani’s and that it is central to a lot of different locations in Maui! My only complaints are that is is a little windier but that is welcome when it is so hot outside and you can’t see the sunset on the ocean. Otherwise this is a wonderful place to stay and I would highly recommend it!

Not only was the condo decorated with modern furniture, the lanai had a fantastic, unobstructed view of the ocean and was centrally located to everything Maui has to offer. I would gladly stay here again in a heartbeat!
