Renovated house in The Pines neighborhood of Rehoboth Beach

Welcome to the Sunny Moon Beach Shack! We’ve thoughtfully designed and renovated this charming bohemian retreat to make your stay in Rehoboth fun and relaxed. The location cannot be beat—just a couple blocks to the restaurants and shops on Rehoboth Ave, and a short 0.7-mile walk or bike to the beach. The home itself was curated with all your needs in mind, including high-end appliances, kitchen accessories, beach and bath towels, linens, and comfortable mattresses, among many other amenities. But having everything you need is not enough; an LG OLED TV, record player with vintage vinyl, extra bikes and skateboards, and beautiful artwork all contribute to a colorful and cool vibe. We use this house as our own beach getaway, and we would love to share it with you!

*Note: We hate fees as much as anyone when we travel, but here is some transparency regarding the fees charged for booking our home: The "host fee" for your stay covers our cleaning service, linens, and additional local tax. The "service fee" is a fee that Vrbo (not us) charges guests.

Beautiful home with delightful details. Well equipped kitchen with high end appliances. Comfortable bedding. Quiet and safe neighborhood. Pleasant and short walk to downtown and boardwalk. Easy access and frequent communication with owner before, during and after the stay. He was a big help considering this was my 1st VRBO rental.

Outstanding! Our stay here was absolutely perfect. Everything was flawless including communications with the owner, cleanliness, location, etc. We were so happy the entire time despite the fact that there was a Nor'easter the weekend we stayed. We couldn't go out due to the weather, but the home is so pleasant we enjoyed the opportunity to stay in and really enjoy it. The owners take a lot of care to make one's stay a great experience and there are a lot of thoughtful details. The house is impeccably clean and we had absolutely everything we needed. We will definitely stay here again.

Amazing!

This is our 2nd time here. The house is clean and bigger than the pictures seem. The owners are very responsive. Location is great! Right between the beach and library/fire station and grove park/farmers market. The beds are on the softer side. Our kids lovvvve taking outdoor shower. It is a one way road in neighborhood so usually less traffic. This year our kiddo learned to bike in front of the house. :)

Plenty of space for 5 adults. Good location, close to Rehoboth Ave but very quiet street. Easy bike ride or walk to the beach too. Was nice having the bikes and beach towels provided. The place was clean and kitchen was well stocked.

Sea Witch Festival

The property was wonderful. It fit our needs for the weekend. Within walking distance for all we wanted to do. The house was very clean and the layout met our expectations. Nice quiet neighborhood without a lot of traffic which was great for my grand children. I would recommend this property for the off season weekend and the Sea Witch festival.

Weekend Getaway

I had a small group of 3 women stay at this property. We were all pleasantly surprised with the home and close proximity to downtown Rehoboth. We’ve talked about coming back and staying here again. The only change we would make is maybe adding more window treatments as there are a lot of windows in the front half of the house and we noticed a lot of foot traffic.

Charming home with a great location!

We had a great time! The house has all of the modern amenities, is decorated well and is very clean and the location is perfect. You can walk to the beach, boardwalk, shopping on main street. We look forward to our next stay!

This is now our favorite place to stay in Rehoboth

Sunny Moon Beach Shack exceeded any expectations we had, & it definitely is not a shack! We loved the open floor plan with lots of natural light; the location was conveniently located to walk to the shops & restaurants; the tranquility of The Pines made it so pleasant to sit outside & to sleep at night; & it was squeaky clean with comfortable furnishings. The owners thought of everything to make our stay trouble free. We can’t wait for a return visit.

Rosse Rehoboth stay

Very lovely house, backyard and neighborhood. Stereo and TV excellent. Kitchen and laundry appliances of high quality and easy to use. Enjoyed the outdoor shower. Would certainly consider another stay here in the future!

Incredible House and Location!

Our family had a wonderful stay in Rehoboth! Josh is a great host and the house instructions and helpful tips are spot-on. The house was incredibly clean and organized. Every need and want is covered by the supplies and features of the house. The record collection in the house was an absolute gem which must have taken decades to build. Very impressive music tastes which was seemingly out of my own playlist!! Like I wrote - good taste… Thanks Again, Matt

Great House, Great Host, Great Stay

Our Family loved our stay! The updates and new appliances in the property were very nice. The location was great. If you're like our family and enjoy some walking around and exploring it's a perfect distance to the beach, restaurants, shops, and Grove Park (which was great for our two young kids). The host was also great! Very responsive and easy going. No one stayed in the house the night before, so we were permitted into the house as soon as we arrived, which was AWESOME. We would absolutely recommend this house to anyone visiting Rehoboth and hope to return soon!

Very well equipped. The decorating was very original and so much fun. We loved being at the house and in a neighborhood verses being in a condo on a busy street. The home was a great part of a perfect vacation.

From the reservation online to checking out at the end of the weekend, everything was perfect! The listing was exactly as described and exceeded our expectations! Rehoboth Long Weekend November

The house was real cute and had its own personality. We were 4 adults and there was plenty of room to gather and talk. Everything was clean and they had the biggest bath towels to use..very soft. Beds were also very comfortable and in good shape.The kitchen was well equipped and they had most of the essentials stocked for us to use. The outside was nice..no deck but plenty of room to sit and talk if you wanted to. The only thing was the acorns were falling from the trees, so you could have been whopped in the head...so we didn't use the outside too much. It's a nice quiet neighborhood, a lot of people walking and riding bikes. We would definitely go back if the opportunity arises. Josh the host was always available for questions and the information he provided in his guest book was very detailed...we used it for figuring out how the record player works...yes an actual record player..he had a great selection of artists.

Great Beach Weekend

Three of us stayed here for a long weekend. The house was clean, well appointed and larger than we expected from the pictures. Close to the beach and to the downtown Rehoboth. Once we had groceries, we didn't have to drive at all which was nice. I would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable, well located house. Amazing, engaged host

The house was exactly as advertised, clean and welcoming with lots of personality and charm. The owners have stocked it with well thought out accessories to support your stay, and its a short walk to everything you want to see and do. Can't offer enough praise for the owner's communication, engagement, and reasonable flexibility. Josh was quickly responsive before during and after our stay, proactive and informative, and a joy to work with. This is now our first choice accommodation on Rehoboth, hands down.

Comfortable house in a great location

Had a great 3 night stay with 4 adults and 3 young kids. Plenty of space for all of us and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. Furnishings were nice, house was clean and everything was well thought out - tons of bath towels, great big washer and dryer, outdoor shower. We would definitely stay here again. The only very small thing is we all wished there were blinds in the front living room window for increased privacy.

A "Ten Star" Vacation Home

The owner clearly hit a home run with the comfort, decorations and amenities in this vacation home. I rented it for relatives who flew in from CA for a family reunion. Both parents and their 2 teenagers absolutely fell in love with the house. In fact, both teens remarked that I am now their favorite Aunt because they liked the house so much!

Fantastic beach house

Wonderful, clean beach house with a great kitchen, lovely sun room, and excellent amenities. Very convenient to Rehoboth Avenue and the beach. Hosts were welcoming and helpful. A fantastic base for a fun week in Rehoboth!

Amazing!

This property had it all! Cleanliness, comfort and location. Josh was so easy to communicate with and I never seemed to be bother when reaching out. The neighborhood was within walking distance to Rehoboth Ave so you really did not need your car. You also have access to a lower key beach if you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the boardwalk beach. Would highly recommend staying here

We have lots of experience as renters and finally decided to buy and renovate our own home. You may know Rehoboth as an amazing and family-friendly beach town, but we’ve found it to be a wonderful year-round destination.
