Fantastic get away!

Absolutely enjoyed our stay and are looking at dates to go back again already. Boat dock and location to everything is perfect. House has everything needed for a get away stay and was exceptionally clean. Highly recommend staying at Poppy's Place!

Nice weekend getaway

Perfect place for our family to boat for the weekend. Dock and location were very convenient and the owner was very easy to communicate with. We recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

My birthday weekend

If we were come back to Atlantic beach, this is where we’ll stay! We had the absolute best time. The house was so comfy and coastal. Made us feel right at home as we traveled from Wilmington. It was in such a good area for going to the beach/ restaurants/ bars. Cindy was so easy to get in touch with & also let us have a late check out due to arriving so late on our first day. We are so thankful we got to experience their family home. Can’t wait to book again!

Perfect getaway

We really loved this property. Family of 4 (2 boys: 10&12). Perfect location, enjoyed having our boat at the property- this was a highlight!We had so much fun star gazing, boating, going to the beach and eating at local restaurants. This property is perfectly located, everything is close by. We can't wait to stay again next year!

Atlantic beach Vacation

Loved the house and it was very clean . The colors inside and the decor was very nice . Loved having the floating dock out back . We enjoyed relaxing and fishing as well as just sitting on the back deck watching the sun go down . Will definitely be booking it again . Thanks so much for allowing us to rent your place !

The cottage is lovely and comfortable. Walking distance to ocean and close to everything in Morehead and AB. Nice floating doc for boat or kayak. Only negative was the master bedroom Roku remote didn't have an on/off switch for the TV. There's probably info on the internet, but I was too tired when we made it to bed to research. Great stay, though!

Quaint and clean cottage!

This was the perfect spot for my father and I to have some family time. Very clean and accommodating, thoughtful touches, well decorated. Nice family neighbors and quiet neighborhood. Would definitely book again! We couldn’t get the TV to work, but that was probably just us. It was nice to have no TV for 5 days anyway! Thanks again for a great stay!

Charming cottage

Very cozy house. Two bedroom, and two bathrooms!!! Lots of closet space so there was plenty of room for our stuff. Simple, and inviting decor. Kitchen is small but good size dining area. Back yard was my favorite. We spent good bit of a time on the deck looking at the boats. Great location. 10-15 min walking to restaurants and beach. Property manager is very attentive. Overall great trip!

Exactly what we were looking for!

Absolutely loved our stay at Poppys cottage. The home was nicely updated, clean, very spacious for a 2 bedroom and equipped we everything we needed. We made great use of the boat slip right at the house, making it easy to take the boat out each day and also lots of fun for my son to catch fiddler crabs crawling on the dock at night, catching blue crabs in our trap or catching little baitfish, he had a blast! Being able to park the boat trailer in the side yard was also a huge plus. The location was also great, almost everything we needed was within walking distance or just a short drive. On our way home we were already planning our next trip back to Poppy’s!

Wonderful time at Pops Cottage

We had a great time at Pops Cottage. We were able to test out our new paddle boards up and down the canal. The sunsets were right at the end of the canal we were able to take some beautiful pictures. The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors were friendly. It is about a 5 block walk to the beach worst part is crossing the main road but just walked down to the light and its doable. Winds were very strong on the beach so water was a bit rough but still enjoyed it. Best part was sitting out back enjoying the view. The house was nicely decorated and beds were quite comfortable. House had everything we needed for our stay. The owners were very nice and accommodating. We hope to be able to make a trip back down to Atlantic Beach and will stay at the quaint Pops Cottage.
