Welcome to Seadation! This bright and airy upside down home is set on a quiet cul de sac surrounded by Nantucket Moors. Despite the private surroundings, the home is perfectly situated to area attractions and public transportation. We are a short 1.5 mile bike ride to one of the most beautiful beaches on the island and 2.5 miles to the quaint village of Sconset.
The foyer opens both right and left to 2 large en suite master bedrooms. The remaining 2 bedrooms are down a short hall that houses the laundry area and the 3rd bathroom. Each bedroom opens via French doors to patios in the rear of the home. Bedrooms are large, private, and boast fabulously comfortable beds with new mattresses for 2026 season. There is plenty of drawer and closet space and quality linens are provided.
Go upstairs to enter the expansive newly decorated living area with windows looking out on all sides. All furnishings are designed for comfort and entertaining. Puzzles, board games, and a reading library are available for your enjoyment. Two outdoor decks provide additional living space. The west facing deck has cushioned furniture-perfect for morning coffee or night time stargazing. The east facing deck has the gas grill and outdoor table, chairs and umbrella for 6. The most amazing sunsets can be seen from this space.
You will find the kitchen to be fully stocked including spices and all the basics you need for your stay. We provide ample dishes, pans, glasses etc for pretty much anything you wish to prepare. This year we will have a new Bosch dishwasher and INDUCTION range.
Additionally, up a small flight of stairs is a sunny loft that is perfect for extra space or for use as a reading nook.
We pride ourselves on providing our guests everything they need for a beach vacation. Towels, chairs, beach umbrella, plastic drink ware, coolers and even a portable beach table are there for your use. When you return from the beach you can choose the outdoor shower and hang your wet suits on the clothes line. Spend your evening playing croquet, whiffle ball or one of the many games our large yard allows for. Additionally you will have access to 2 private neighborhood tennis/pickle ball courts.
We continue to update our home and there will be a completely remodeled master bedroom and bath as of 2026. We have over 20 years of experience renting our home in Nantucket and are always available for questions or concerns. We look forward to hearing from you.
