Bright charming Maushop Condo with waterviews from inside as well as from your patio. Kitchen and bathrooms updated,, main floor recently painted. Convenient location with easy access to beach. Perfect location close to the beach, Popponesset Inn, Popponesset Market Place and of course the great restaurants of Mashpee Commons await your arrival.

Please note, I have just purchased this property, so there are no reviews yet. I expect them to be awesome once they start coming for 2022.

Great property. Would have liked to have a screen in the upstairs bedroom and the slider screen was hard to open...upstairs smoke detector is hanging down..otherwise perfect.

Another great visit to Maushop! We love this place—beautiful 2 minute walk to a lovely private beach and fun nightly walk to Popponesset Marketplace for ice cream and live music. The house was perfect for our needs—we appreciated how clean it was with renovated bathrooms and kitchen and well stocked towels and sheets. It was easy in and easy out—great vacation all around! We will stay there again.

The location was great.The condo is small.The master bedroom has ceiling window in bedroom and bathroom. No covers on these and therefore sun coming in first thing in morning and in afternoon.Also there was a mildew smell in master bathroom and under kitchen cabinet next to outside wall.

The unit was just as stated in the listing. It is well kept and owners son was very receptive when we had an issue with the upstairs toilet and it was fixed promptly. It would have been nice to have a screen in the upstairs window but overall a great stay!

Great location but better linens and towels needed.

My husband and I stayed here for a wedding at the Popponesset Inn Labor Day weekend. The location is perfect with a short walk to the beach. You do have to go down a full flight of stairs to the beach which was fine for us. This is a 2 bedroom but the upstairs bedroom does not have a door. That may be a problem for those who want more privacy. It was fine for us but we would have not liked having other people with us. The cottage is cozy and clean but I did feel like the quilts on the bed were not fresh. It would have been a lot nicer if we had a nice white duvet with crisp white linens. The bed was adequate but could use a new mattress the towels were the biggest disappointment. They were thin and mismatched. We did find a couple that were a little thinner folded under the sink. I would stay here again but this nice rental could be great with a few simple upgrades. We didn’t use the beach chairs but they looked very worn. The cutlery was also all mismatched and we couldn’t find a teaspoon. Thankfully there was a small box of plastic teaspoons in the drawer. Another nightstand on the other side of the bed would also be great. Again minor upgrades needed but all in all a lovely stay.

Not a good experience

MUCH smaller than appeared in photos. Air conditioning inadequate to cool entire unit. Ceiling fan did not function. Lower toilet did not function properly and leaked over the floor. Outdoor chairs were cracked plastic or bent aluminum. No dresser in lower bedroom. Screen door does not function properly.

Great Place Blocks from Private Beach

Well-appointed cottage with ample room for family of 4 (or more), within a block or two of a private beach and centrally located in Cape Cod. Highly recommend it!

Beautiful Location, Not well equipped

This is a charming small cottage a short walk from the beach. It was clean and cute. It could be improved with a few things: For example- there was one wine glass for 4 guests and a short supply of spoons. If you buy groceries there is no place to put them except the counter or frig. A few shelves maybe by the washer/dryer would be great. The sitting area just outside is nice but sunny. There was an umbrella stand but no umbrella. And while the air conditioning unit works fairly well for main room and upstairs, the downstairs bedroom was hot even with a fan Of course there was a heat wave so perhaps it is usually adequate. This is a good rental which could be excellent with just a few changes. It was really well located for the family wedding we attended.

Unit was found to be clean and updated. Kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable. The location to the beach was great and the community was found to be perfect for daily walks.

Adorable village.

Wonderful location to the beach and excellent stay. Washer and dryer repairmen were supposed to come out but never showed up but that's not the owner's fault though. Twin beds downstairs were very creaky everytime you turned. May I suggest a step stool in the kitchen because some of the cupboard shelves were very high. All in all,it was a very nice place to stay in.

Relaxing

Beautiful area, quiet, not far from restaurants and places such as parks & wildlife refuge areas to drive to. Very short walk to the beach. Great place for 2 - 4 people.

Quaint Community

The cottage is in a lovely community with an ocean view and close to shops and restaurants. The overall appearance of the cottage is good but could be stocked better, ie kitchen staples (or a keureg) and bath soap, etc. Mattresses and bed linens were average at best. Overall, its a cozy cottage in a great neighborhood.

Cape Getaway

Great stay at this cozy cabin in the village. The location was amazing as it was in walking distance of the beach as well as a small village with a cafe, restaurant, market, and miniature golf course.
