Carrabelle Cottage is a cozy "cracker style" 2 bedroom/1 bath house nestled among towering pines and ancient oaks offering one king bedded room and one queen bedded room. Located less than 5 minutes from Carrabelle Public Beach and a short drive to Eastpoint, Apalachicola and St. George Island. There are numerous cafes and restaurants in the area offering the fresh seafood that Carrabelle is famous for.
Cottage has been completely remodeled and updated as shown by the pictures. Fully equipped kitchen with dishes, pots and pans, glassware and utensils, there are even dog water/food dishes provided. Owners even provide videos, books and games. There are 3 decks (each bedroom has it's own private deck) and a combination deck/screen room at the main entrance. Almost one acre fenced in on a shady lot, perfect for your pets, as you can see by our reviews.
A spacious pole barn (new roof 2021) would be perfect to park your cars and boats, is located at one side of the property.
Directly across from the house is a view of the Bay so you can enjoy those breezes, however you do have to take a short drive to the Public Beach for beach access. The Public Beach is dog friendly which is true for most in the area but dogs must be on leashes. Many of the restaurants and pubs in Carrabelle allow pets.
Cottage is private, secluded and abuts directly to Tate's Hell State Forest which is a nature lover's and hiker's treasure. Lighthouse Museum is right down the street and there are other Museums within 5 miles. Trail head is directly to the left of the driveway.
If you want to enjoy a taste of Old Florida but with modern, updated accommodations, this is the place for you. You won't be disappointed.
