Family home with 1900 square feet of living space and an outstanding view of St George's Sound. Home built in 2021, nicely furnished and well-equipped. Open floor plan with clear views from within the home as well as from the screened patio and yard. Located in St. George's Bluff, a small subdivision planned for 22 total homes when completed. This gated community sits on a bluff overlooking the sound and is adjacent to Tate' s Hell State Forest between the towns of Carrabelle & Eastpoint. From the home, there is a slope and a 2-lane road (Hwy 98) to navigate to access the bay's beach (though not really a swimming beach) and the fishing the dock. Drive to Carrabelle Beach in just a few minutes or to St. George Island (SGI) beaches in just 15-20 minutes.

Excellent Accommodation and Location for Exploring the surrounding area.

Very impressed with the furnishings and kitchen supplies. The host and local manager were very considerate. The location was terrific for exploring both east and west of Eastpoint, as well as St. George Island.

Great Fishing Retreat

Came to go on fishing in the Gulf. Caught plenty of fish and house was only 8 miles from marina. The home was very spacious and had everything you could need, beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers etc. Nice gated community. Will be back again!

Fantastic Vacation

This trip was great for our family!!! We all enjoyed the location and convenience of the house. I have never stayed at a rental that had as many items that made our stay even better (beach chairs, towels, toys, movies and games). The place was super clean and large enough for all of us. We will definitely be staying again!

Outstanding home!!

Immaculate vacation home!! Everything about this home, location, surroundings, neighbors is wonderful. The home is beautiful and very well stocked. The sunrises from the back porch are priceless. St. George Island is a short distance away and Blue Parrot is an excellent place to eat. Also, Apalachicola is close by; great shops and Up the Creek Raw Bar is a good place to eat. We totally enjoyed our stay!

Heavenly slice of the Bay

What a wonderful location and perfectly delightful and serene view from the living room, master, and porch! Everything was perfectly appointed and the communications were first-rate. A first-class location near great restaurants and shopping with a quick jaunt over the bridge to St. George Island. Definitely our first choice in the area, especially when needing 3 bedrooms!

The perfect getaway

Everything was clean and organized. We were extremely comfortable, and, enjoyed the beauty of the home and the surrounding yard. The view of the ocean was wonderful and, we enjoyed the pool immensely! Only 15 minutes from St. George Island way took several trips there and visited Apalachicola! We had a grand time! Great family vacation spot!! Looking forward to a return trip!

Spectacular!

The house was very nice, spacious of so well-equipped! The screened porch was a delight, not to mention the view and Adirondack on the patio. Beautiful views

We stayed for a week. We were surprised by how well stocked the house is. There was an abundance of dishes, cutlery and cookware. We saw dolphins from the patio every day, as well as trout and sting rays on the beach. It's a beautiful home and has everything you need for a large family toddlers included. We had a wonderful time and will absolutely consider staying again the next time we vacation in the area.

Just a short Getaway!

This property is amazing! It is so clean and is the best equipped home we’ve ever stayed in 40years we’ve been visiting. The owner and property manager were very responsive. Amazing view

The house was immaculate. This was my first time using Vrbo or anything like it so I was nervous. The property manager and home owner was very helpful and patient. The view cannot be described with words. The home had everything you could think of toiletries sleeping cots they thought of it all. I will definitely be back and would recommend this property for vacation

Beautiful, inviting house. Spacious and comfortable for the whole family to relax.

This house was perfect for a beautiful, relaxing vacation. Well stocked with everything you need and then some. The owner and property manager are both great to work with! Beautiful views of the water, short drive to the beach with very few people. Not touristy and crowded. Note the nearest Walmart is over an hour away. But great little restaurants and shops in the area. We seen dolphins, manatees, a huge sea turtle, sting rays and a bald Eagle all in the wild! We will definitely be back!

After renting and RVing in the area multiple times since 2007, we decided in July of 2021, to purchase a home for retirement and family vacations. Presently we spend some mid-winter time in our RV further south in Florida; we utilize this home with our friends and family mostly in the fall and spring and we spend our summers in Michigan.
Since we do not use it full-time, we feel fortunate to have found an outstanding local contact person to help us make it possible to offer short term rentals of our Eastpoint home during the mid-winter months and during the summer.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

For years we have watched several subdivisions in the area as they began to be developed. We were especially attracted to this one because of the higher elevation, as it sits on a bluff overlooking St.George's Sound. The view is what sold us, with just a two-lane highway (which does not obstruct the view) between us and the gulf; it is amazing. Additional amenities including the private beach area, fishing dock and community pool sealed the deal.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

We especially love this area because it is rural and because there are multiple beach access points. From Carrabelle to Saint George Island State Park, there are countless places for surf fishing, water sports, beach walking and shelling. We are not fans of traffic nor rows of high rise condos and hotels and you won't find those here. This home is in a small, family-friendly subdivision and not attractive or suitable to wild and crazy spring-breakers. The surrounding towns and Saint George Island have many unique shops and restaurants, but if we need "city" time, Tallahassee is an easy 60 mile drive.
