AV33 - Lovely Oceanfront 2-Bedroom Condo with Pool

This updated, Gulf-front paradise has guests never wanting to go home! From the casual nature and atmosphere here at Aqua Villa to the convenient location to shopping, dining and local attractions - this is the perfect place for your trip to the Emerald Coast.

This condo is on the 3rd floor of the Aqua Villa condominium, the entire condominium has four floors with just 24 units and it also has an elevator. The renovation of the exterior of the building and replacement of elevator is complete. Our beach is always less crowded than other buildings in the area. This is one of the few buildings that allow pets on the island.
Beach service with two chairs and umbrella included during March to October.
Note that pets are not allowed on beaches or pools. There are many dog parks in the area.

This was such a cute little condo! It is right on the beach and was so close to everything we wanted to do. The only reason I’m giving 3 stars is because literally all the beds were soooo uncomfortable. The king bed was so soft I’d wake up multiple times a night. The other two beds were just as bad! We actually ended up leaving a full day early because we couldn’t stand to sleep in the beds one more night! Would have given 5 stars, but for that. I was also disappointed that the laundry/washer and dryer was an additional fee. It wasn’t very much, but was kind of a bummer for how much money we paid for the condo—especially since the dryer didn’t dry our clothes with one load.

Condo was very nice. We love the smaller building and quick, easy access to the pool and beach. Laundry wasn’t working on our floor. The washer was out of order on our floor and the dryer didn’t dry.

Great place! Check in was super easy, location was perfect, and the owner responded quickly. My only suggestion would be to update the mattresses. Lots of dips and soft spots--not great for anyone suffering with back pain. Otherwise, would absolutely stay here again.

DO NOT STAY HERE!

Do not stay here!!! No working elevator and community washer/dryer do not work. A couple days before leaving with my children I received a message that the elevator was broken but would be fixed by a couple days into my vacation. Would I like to cancel and be refunded? Reality is when you have children excited about vacation I said no problem. We can manage for a couple days, right?!? Driving there I received another message that the a/c in my unit was not working and they would be moving me to the 4th floor and would move us to the unit I rented once fixed. What does that mean you ask? Another flight of stairs as we bring everything we brought to carry up manually. But we stay positive because we are on our summer vacation. Do not go to grocery store because after taking everything up there was no way we could do groceries and we thought we would be moved. Tuesday rolls around and I receive another message. Guest who rented condo I was stuck in were placed in the condo I rented. We were not given a choice and was forced to stay on the 4th floor with no elevator, no washer or dryer and the joys of the construction all around us. All the construction workers there everyday and even taking parking spaces hammering and drilling all day. At one point I was told to move my car for construction vehicle. Not worth your sanity staying here.

I really wanted it to be like it was.

mattress too soft, condo elevator not working, furniture was not clean. water pressure was low, too many dogs The view was beautiful, the staff was great and friendly. Parking was great, the owner was very communitive. This was our third time to stay at this establishment (over fifteen years) and it needs refreshing because it can be great like it was before.

We had such a great time! Perfect get-away, first time beach trip for our son and he loved it! Condo was just what we needed, had plenty of accommodations including beach service and beach toys/floats/chairs/umbrellas/ect.

Nice stay

Nice vacation but the lock to the condo did not work. Thought there would be washer and dryer in the condo but was community. Batteries died to the remote. There was sand in the sheets before we stayed the first night.

Nice condo

We were a bit concerned when we arrived and the elevators were not working. The water facing side of the building needs some cleaning and painting. The condo itself was nice. Love the location. Unit needs a new keypad door knob, better lighting and more silverware. We enjoyed our stay and would go back! Please note, dog friendly unit, but you must leave the property to take dogs out to potty.

Beautiful Location

We enjoyed our stay. Great communication from the owner. Clean on arrival- The building is older. We enjoyed being right on the beach. There were lots of beach equipment. We enjoyed the chairs set up on the property. We watched a pod of dolphins play- even jumping a few times- for about an hour 1 day. The elevator being out - well, it worked out. But it would have been better if it were running. It was really nice staying right on the beach- Beautiful mornings- and a full moon evening on the beach was great

Comfortable stay, beautiful views, great location

We have been vacationing at Aqua Villa every year for the past 15 or so years. We love the area. This unit is nice and comfortable. There was an issue with another guest backing into a water line which caused the water to be shut off for several hours. I was however thankful for the owner's communication throughout the ordeal that let us know what was going on. They also let us know before arriving that the elevator was not working (which was not a big deal) Overall we were happy with this unit. The view is beautiful. Beach service was great. Its a perfect location.

Perfect for a family vacation

We loved our stay. The beach was just steps away and the chairs and umbrella service that was included made it super easy to lounge without having to drag everything back and forth to the beach. Cons: The elevator was out of operation for most of our stay. We had a 13 year old dog with us that struggled with the stairs an a person with a knee replacement that really needed the elevator. Once it was repaired, it was so much easier to get up and down. All in all it was a great stay. We came to Fort Walton for a wedding and family vacation. We had an amazing experience.

2024 Memorial Day weekend trip

Overall we enjoyed our stay at this condo. Great location, clean condo, great beach view and pet friendly! The only disappointment was not having a private balcony and the mattresses were WAY too soft! The other downfall was not having a washer/dryer in condo and only provided with one set of towels for each person!

Great Views & Location

Nice, quiet Winter Getaway! Close to good restaurants and hang outs too. Place was very nice with a gorgeous view of the Gulf. Pool was wonderful on sunny days, and even got a tan in January! Our Mini Labradoodle loved sitting in front on the big window and watched all the crashing waves the entire month of our stay! We hope to return next winter!

Great View

We're from the MidWest, so we took a week to visit Fort Walton and really enjoyed our stay at your condo! So much space, we will more than likely return with another couple. The view was spectacular! Literally just steps to the beach. Condo itself has a lot to offer. Had a really fun stay!

The unit was a pleasant surprise did not have any expectation since it was a last minute booking. The unit itself was clean and spacious. I loved the ocean view and easy access to beach for morning strolls. I would not only recommend this unit but hopefully when I am in the area stay here again.

Last minute trip

The condo was very clean and comfortable. Our dog absolutely loved the big picture window. It had everything we needed to set up as home for a week. Thanks the owners for sharing their place. We will be back!!
