Our stay at Ayiti Cottage was everything we could have asked for. The location was great, our hosts were accommodating and helpful and that view was amazing. St. John is heaven on earth and this cottage was a perfect place for us to stay.

First time in St. John and this was the perfect place for privacy but also close enough to Cruz Bay and the north beaches. Zlata and Oleg were kind hosts during our stay and the cottage was stocked with everything we needed. If you rent a vehicle and are interested in exploring the island, it’s a perfect fit for two travelers. Thanks again, we miss the sunrise over Fish Bay already.

Nice location near Cruz bay and also not far to north shore beaches. View was beautiful. First time to the island and really enjoyed the volcanic island with mountains. Hosts live on property but cottage is private. Kitchen well stocked with all you need to cook. No complaints on the property, but the island itself does seem to lack in resources which limit amenities such as ability to run AC consistently/high pressured water.

That said, your review seems to reflect some frustration with aspects of island living rather than the cottage experience. On a small island with limited resources, practices like power shutoff when guests leave and avoiding running the AC with windows open are quite standard and help conserve energy and water. These measures are common in many places around the world and are part of living responsibly in this environment. We understand that this may differ from what you’re used to, but they are important for sustainability here. We appreciate your understanding.

Our hosts were fantastic and made our week in St John idyllic. They were highly responsive to the few questions we had and gave us additional great tips for hikes and beaches! The cottage was very comfortable and clean, with nice privacy and a spectacular view!!We definitely hope to return to Ayiti Cottage in St John.

Nice place to stay in St. John

We had a great stay at this place and appreciated the king size bed. Its a quick drive to Cruz Bay and many beautiful beaches and snorkeling. The place is well stocked with beach gear (beach chairs, cooler, floaties) too :)

Great little cottage!

This cottage is petite, but had everything we needed. The hosts were very kind and even used their generator when we lost power. The location was perfect for us and had great views!

A Tremendous Hosts & Gorgeous View**

Home away from home

Zlata and Oleg have a great homey place with an amaizing view of Fish Bay. Nice and quiet side of the island. The hot tub was a great way to spend an afternoon as well.We will definately stay here again on our next trip.

Beautiful spot and friendly and accessible hosts. Amazing views and comfy little cottage close to spectacular beaches and downtown but also away from the hustle and bustle. Our host gave us great suggestions on places to go and eat. She was great!!! Would definitely stay here again.
