Step into a world of color, comfort, and creativity at our unique Bohemian loft apartment! This private one-bedroom loft offers a blend of eclectic decor, bright hues, and an open, airy feel. Whether you're here for a short stay or a longer retreat, this vibrant space is perfect for those seeking a blend of relaxation and artistic inspiration. Book your stay in this colorful and creative Bohemian loft and experience the sweet mix of relaxation and artistic inspiration. We can’t wait to host you!

Take a drive to the wineries in Ramona, or to the quaint town of Julian or Alpine or just stay & relax. We are located on the border of El Cajon and Lakeside in San Diego (about 20 miles east of Downtown) with easy access to the 8 freeway. We love sharing our land and space with travelers, tourists, artists and friends. We have a 2.5 acre property and the apartment is tucked away down at the pool, separated from the main house. The pool is shared with our small family as well as anyone staying in our tiny house, which is up by our place and a yurt, which is down by the pool in it's own private area. Both of the other spaces are available to rent as well, please inquire if interested.

Nearby activities include Lake Jennings, which offers fishing and hiking, as well as several gorgeous parks to visit. Perfect for a family or working vacation. Not to mention all of what San Diego has to offer :) Perfect for a snowbird vacation or on the way to the wineries in Ramona or Temecula, you really can't go wrong in San Diego :) There is an outdoor bathroom that is shared while using the pool. Loft has it's own porch that is not shared and is very private. Use of outdoor bathroom for guests staying at the loft as well. Lot's of bright colors and art, strong boho vibe, strong WIFI, some shared space in pool area. By reserving, we are assuming you've read entire ad and agree to house rules. We have 3 rentals in the pool area, the loft, a poolside apartment and a yurt. All offer their own unique privacy. Feels a lot like a small boutique hotel with limited number of guests allowed to stay.

Lovely Bohemian property

I really enjoyed my stay here. The hosts were very kind and hospitable. Communication was excellent. I love the vibe of the property. Pool was an appreciated bonus. Close to the location I needed to be for the weekend.

Very Relaxing

Heather and Robert are awesome hosts. They made our stay so comfortable. Their property is just amazing and Robert's knowledge of gardening is very impressive. They shared their bounty from their garden with us which we enjoyed very much!

Peaceful Retreat!

Everything about this property is what I love about Southern California. The space was beautiful, the hosts were experienced and thoughtful, and the pool was an added bonus. This area is a great home base for everything you would want to do in San Diego. Thank you and we will be back!

Family Get Together

Our niece lives 3 minutes away from the property, so it was a great place for those of us whom she didn’t have space for to sleep and shower. The property was perfect and it would have been nice to be able to spend more time enjoying the pool and patio area, but we were just too busy. The owners definitely made sure that we had everything we needed!

Wonderful stay

My husband and I stayed here with our 2 littles. We had everything we needed, including a beautiful pool my 4 year old loved to come back to play in from our daily outings in SD. The private patio was awesome to have meals together at. Perfect place to stay on a trip to San Diego. Heather and Robert were more than accommodating. Will be staying here again. Peaceful, beautiful and great location

Heather and her husband were the best hosts. Easy to communicate with and has the best property. The kids enjoyed the pool and my sister and I loved the hot tub after walking all day in San Diego. We couldn’t have hand picked a better spot if we drove around and looked for one. Our first time to travel to CA and we fell in love. Thank you for the great experience. Ginger Brandon

Poolside Paradise with Attentive Hosts

Heather and Robert couldn’t have been more pleasant. They invited us to two poolside meals and made excellent recommendations for activities and restaurants. The unit was an artistic, unique space. We especially appreciated the loft for our adult son’s (and our) privacy. It was clean and very well kept. They had beach towels for our pool use and a kitchen which allowed us to enjoy meals at the unit. It was an excellent stay - five stars.

Comfortable, private, and quiet.

Great location between the city and the desert. Easy freeway access. Seasonal pool nice but cold when we were there in March. Heated later in the season. Hot tub accessible upon request in March as well. Hosts very responsive in requests for heating the hot tub and only takes 30 minutes. Pool area is awsome! Little bit of a walk from car to door but well lighted. Great fun decor and gardens. Apartment has shower only so take note for the bath tub people. Our area was very private and secluded. Views out the windows are of folage. Little creek runs behind the building. Great experience. Would recommend it for couples or rent the Urt for more room.

Immaculate, Gorgeous, Magical w/the best hosts EVER!

I could write a book on how stellar our stay was at Eden East. We fell in love with our hosts, Heather and Robert, from the first moment. They were warm, generous and extremely accomodating of my dad's needs, as he is in a wheelchair. The common grounds pool area is filled with countless plants, colorful, imaginative art, and pool furniture. The whimsical bed perched on a deck, is the centerpiece of the pool area. There is a charming bridge connecting the entrance trail to the pool. Everywhere you look is a feast for the eyes with another happy plant or giant butterfly wall hanging. Our apartment was beautiful, colorful, art filled, immaculate and stocked with everything we could need from the kitchen to the bathroom. The handsoaps, shampoo, conditioner and body wash smelled divine. No detail was left unattended to. We enjoyed our own private, covered deck, with full privacy. As magnificent as Eden East is, its greatest asset is its hosts. They went above and beyond, in every way, to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We were blessed to be their guests for an entire month, and at the end of that month, we were sad to leave. Eden East and its hosts are one in a million. Come stay in one of their apartments or their charming yurt and prepare to be delighted.

Amazing!

I booked the property several months before our stay and often daydreamed of sitting out by the pool at night. We were so pleased to see this property was very accurately described in the listing and the pictures are true to life. It is located fairly close to a highway entrance for easy travel to and from San Diego. Note: We did not hear any traffic noises. The owners welcomed us at check in and gave us a tour. Although the owners live on the property, this home was secluded and private, and we felt at home and safe throughout our stay. The owners clearly communicated with us before, during, and after our stay and were very accommodating to our requests for sightseeing and restaurant recommendations. The water system is on a pump so there was a low noise when we used the water. The pressure was excellent and the water heated up within seconds for showering. There is a small AC unit which, when used with the fans, made the property nice and cool. The tv had a fire stick and we were able to log into all of our streaming services easily and without issue. Everything was clean and well maintained. There were a lot of butterflies in the garden area by the pool which was lovely. The artwork was delightful and we felt the owners took great care in the maintenance of the property and shared pool area. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. 10 out of 10 - highly recommend this property. We would stay here again if the opportunity presented itself.

This property is everything we've ever wanted and has land for growing plants and fruit trees/veggies, a pool, 2 guesthouses and a really nice yurt that is available to rent as well. It's been really fun working on it and we love to share it. We have a dragon fruit farm with tons of rare and exotic fruits we love to share with guests.
