Comfy Affordable Condo - a pocos pasos de una playa de Sandy!

Este hermoso condominio completamente remodelado en el complejo de Kihei Bay Vista se encuentra cruzando la calle desde el Museo de la Ballena jorobada y la histórica playa Kulepolepo. Esta playa es ideal para los niños ya que el agua es tranquila en general. El Club de Piragüismo Kihei también alberga sus canoas en esta playa y la frecuencia con la que se puede contactar con ellos para participar en algunas de sus actividades, por no hablar de que se puede ver algunos de los atardeceres más increíbles allí también! Usted puede ver y oír el mar desde nuestra terraza, así como ver majestuoso Haleakala mira a escondidas sobre los tejados ... y se puede ver hermosas Kahalawai (montañas del oeste de Maui desde la ventana de la habitación también.

La zona de la piscina / jacuzzi y barbacoa se encuentra directamente en frente de nuestra unidad en la parte inferior de las escaleras. Kihei Bay Vista también ofrece aparcamiento gratuito para misiones, y un pequeño putting green en el césped muy bien cuidado. Sólo hay 60 unidades en el complejo; así que es tranquilo y silencioso ... un perfecto refugio tropical !!

También estamos cerca de tiendas y restaurantes como Safeway, Outback, Roy y Starbucks se encuentran a sólo 5 minutos de distancia. El complejo también está cerca de todas las principales arterias en Maui. Estamos a sólo 10-15 minutos del aeropuerto y de la parada de autobús está justo en frente del complejo. Muchos de nuestros sitios favoritos están a sólo minutos de distancia !!

Ma'alea puerto y el Acuario están a 5 minutos en coche. Wailea y nuestra playa favorito, Makena (conocido por los lugareños como Big Beach) es de sólo 15 a 20 minutos; como es Lahaina, Ka'anapali Beach y el Swap Meet Maui (IMPRESCINDIBLE !!) Del interior del país y el famoso Ulupalakua Ranch es a mano también. Una vez allí, también se puede parar en la bodega y participar en la degustación algunos fabuloso vino Maui y disfrutar del hermoso país allí. ¿O qué tal un tour para visitar Iao Valley y Na Wai Eha (las 4 aguas) para absorber un poco de cultura y aprender sobre lo que hace Maui tan especial? Todos estos lugares y puntos de interés están muy cerca.

Sandy beach just across the road with a lovely ocean breeze. Beautiful grounds. Clean, well organized condo, with helpful information and attentive owners. There was even a touch of holiday cheer. There are a lot less people than farther down the road.

Our favorite place - ever

We have now stayed at this condo for the 3rd time. It is such a comfort coming into a place that just feels like home. Gabi and Ken have done such an amazing job with this condo and has supplied everything you could think of needing.My wife and I are looking forward to our next trip to Maui and our next stay at this condo.

Great amenities and location!!

The place is amazing with everything stocked for a wonderful stay in the island. All beach gear, snorkeling gear and wonderful kitchen appliances! The pool and hot tub were great as well. Host is very responsive and accommodating! Highly recommend this for future guests!!

Great quiet spot that has everything you need!

Ken and Gabi’s place was perfect for us for our wonderful week in Maui. Centrally located to great food and activities in Kihei and Wailea and easy to drive to get to the other great parts of the island. Amenities were great and place was very cleanly and we loved the lanai for meals or relaxing. Would recommend their place highly! Thanks Ken and Gabi!

Great Location

This condo complex sits in the perfect location on the northern side of Kihei. The property is beautiful with tropical plants growing throughout and well maintained. The pool was warm and there is a very secluded beach across the street. The condo itself had everything we would have needed and was very relaxing. Cool ocean breezes blew through the condo so we never had to use the AC.

It was a pleasant stay. There is a beach across the street but we ended up going down to Kam II instead. Before sunset you can go across the street and watch the turtles come into the protected area.

Paradise Home away from home

Great place to stay in Kehei. The place has everything you could need, whether staying in to cook and watch a movie, or going to the beach to play and watch the sunset. Great beach just across the street. The pool and the hot tub are great too. I was a little worried about having enough space with 4 of us but the place is open and felt plenty big enough and homey. We stayed at the beginning of the covid-19 epidemic so were glad to have a safe, non crowded place to stay.

Very cool!

We have been to the area several times and this is the first staying at this location. They have everything that you could possible need during your trip. Easy access, good location, and onsite manager was very friendly and helpful. If you like to work out, Maui Gym 2 min away. We are planning to return next year. Thanks again!

Amazing everything.

This is our second stay at Kenneth and Gabrielle's condo in Kihei. This condo and location are so good it makes it tough for any other location we stay at to even compare. The condo is spotlessly clean, is super well stocked, and literally across the road to the beach. It is such a small complex that it is always quiet. The grounds are immaculate and the pool deck and pool are great. Parking is easy with lots of available spots. I could go on and on about this condo and area, but I'll just say that we have booked it again for our next visit to Maui. Great owners with a great condo. No complaints at all.

Maui Vacation

Kenny Thank you for letting us stay at your condo. It was a great spot, easy to get to everything . We love the long walk on Sugar Beach. Your condo had everything we needed and yes the king size bed was very comfy. The BBQS were great and so handy to the unit. The hot tub was broke the entire month that we were there so that was a downer but not a problem. The kitchen had all the gadgets we needed The TV was nice and big, loved it. We had a great vacation Mahalo

Comfortable and Well Stocked Kihei Condo

This vacation rental offered everything our family needed for an easy and affordable stay on Maui. The location is right across from the beach and the unit is quiet and comfortable. I appreciated the hosts efforts to reduce unnecessary single use plastics, such as the Brita filtered water pitcher in the fridge 👍 We enjoyed the beach gear, the pool and hot tub. As a safety note, the dresser in the bedroom needs to be fastened to the wall. With two drawers pulled out, it fell forwards onto my 3 year old and luckily an adult was there to catch it! Overall good value, we would stay here again

All around nice!

This was our first time visiting Maui and our first experience with the 'condo experience.' We were very pleased to have chosen this unit at the Kihei Bay Vista. The complex was nicely maintained and the unit was very comfortable. The little touches were great, including the beach/pool toys and the movie library for the evenings in. The communal BBQs were a great place to chat with others while preparing a home-cooked meal. The location was great. Very easy 10-15 min drive to Wailea or 30 min to Lahaina. So many beaches to choose from! It was great working with Ken, and we were really glad to have stayed at this vacation getaway.

Great Stay in Kihei!

We loved our stay at this locale! The condo is in a beautiful garden-like setting, complete with pool and outdoor grills. The beach, directly across the street, is relatively quiet, and has opportunities for shade and sun. There is an historic fish pond that is great for swimming. While we were there, there were 5 or 6 very large sea turtles that were sunning on the rocks each day. The condo was the best-equipped condo we have ever stayed at anywhere, with the owners striving to cover every possible need of vacationers who are away from home. They even asked what could they do better (nothing!). The condo is on the second floor, so note you will need to carry your suitcase up a flight of stairs. Rent this one with confidence. We would definitely stay here again for future visits.

Nicely furnished, accessible location, good value

My wife & I enjoyed a month stay (Jan-Feb 2015) with this condo unit as our home-base. The unit is nicely furnished and decorated. The kitchen had enough cookware/dishes for meals, including nice extras like a rice cooker. The unit lanai faces south, for a nice N-S breeze between the windows and lanai. (Barely used the A/C.) Location give easy access to far South beaches (using Piilani Hwy) in 15min, and West (Lahaina/Kaanapali) in 30min. Lots of beach gear on the lanai, including sand toys & snorkel sets: mostly usable, although several of the boogie boards were cracked. We used some things, and added a new set of Tommy Bahama chairs and umbrella when we left. We've stayed several times in KBV (at two other units), so were familiar with the location and didn't need any help while there. While we didn't ever see an onsite manager in the condo office, Ken had provided contact numbers, if help was needed. This was our first time in this unit, and it compared favorably with the others. Bottom line, we enjoyed the place and would come back.

The Best Rental EVER!

My wife and I have been staying at vacation rentals for many, many years. While most have been very good, we have never felt as at home as we did in this condo. To say it was well supplied is a major understatement. Everything we could have imagined was supplied - and then some. The condo was incredibly clean in side and outside on the lanai. The appliances all worked very well, the AC was good and there were even extra floor fans in the bedroom closet if needed. The location was also a major plus. Right across the street is a beautiful sandy beach which never had many people there are all. It practically felt like a private beach. Every evening we would take in the sunsets and watch the sea turtles come in. The entire complex was also immaculately cared for. The pool and hot tub were super clean, the grounds were well maintained and everything around the property was well cared for. We loved this property so much that we have already booked our next trip back there. While Maui is a beautiful island, having a place as nice as this to stay at made the vacation that much better. Thank you so much to Ken and Gabrielle for sharing your home with us. We look forward to our next visit there. Mahalo!

Lovely location comfortable and close to beach!

Loves: The lanai in the morning is a great spot for coffee and breakfast. The access to the perfect kids beach right across the street The carpet! The pool and jacuzzi both close but also very clean. Pool area was quiet despite being in front of and below condo. Jacuzzi is HOT! How the condo/lanai faces the palm trees and foliage. It gives you that lovely tropic vibe despite not seeing the beach. Also the shows and sounds of birds. Owners were very communicative! No over the top check out process! Besides a sofa there is a nice reclining chair! I spend so much time scrolling units and if I see either the rattan furniture or a tiny sofa all alone I scroll past, regardless of price! Didn’t love so much but wouldn’t stop me from renting again: The washing machine is a bit temperamental with the door (and I promise we didn’t overload it!) No ac in the bedroom - honestly I was fine, but my husband was stressed the first couple hours that he wouldn’t be able to sleep without ac. I just took both fans and put on in the hall and one right by the bed and left the fan in the room on. Again really enjoyed the stay, the condo was comfy and inviting after the beach and I would come back, as well as recommend to others if you’re looking for a quiet place close to the beach… literally less than five minute!

Want to be fair, but does have issues

Let me start by saying we stayed there In January 2022 for 5 days and we booked it about 3 weeks before, so availability was limited and the price for this condo was one of the best we found. Still, there were a few issues that made our stay difficult. 1- It smelled. We opened the door and we immediately felt a strong unpleasant smell. It smelled like a combination of humidity, drainage and maybe even urine. It was strong and I do know that I have a sensitive nose, but even my spouse noticed it. We told the owners via the app and they simply replied, "we have never heard of this before" and that we should open windows. Well, this was a lie since there was a review that mentioned this exact problem even though I do have to admit either the odor was reduced by half the second day or we just got used to it, but it never completely disappeared. We discovered what the problem was after we left the property since the smell “stuck” with us after we left. Yes, that's right! The smell got in our clothes, and we believe it was caused by the washing machine. Our deduction is that they have a drainage issue with their washing machine and somehow the smelly water is not being filtered correctly. We’re no plumbers, but that's our best guess since their towels also smelled. 2- The property/area felt safe, so this next issue was not as bad. Their new front door locking system didn’t work. The issue was not the locking, but the unlocking. The touchpad needed a code to unlock, which did work. The touchpad also had a small logo at the top of it and if you pressed that logo by mistake the door automatically unlocks without the need for the code. We again told the owners and they replied with “we will have to talk to a locksmith to fix the issue since we do not live there” which is understandable, but I don’t know why not living in Hawaii has anything to do with fixing an issue as soon as being notified. So my advice for the people thinking about staying here is to ask the owners if they fixed the touchpad unlocking issue before booking it. Just to be safe. 3- To finish and this isn't at all a big deal since you can rent, they did offer a lot of beach accessories like a chairs, boogie boards, toys, but they were missing an umbrella and ice chest which IMO is a must for a beach rental property. In conclusion, if you have time to make a better decision and are comfortable knowing you will spend a few hundred dollars more on another property then avoid this one.

Einfach klasse!

Eine super ausgestattete Unterkunft in einer top-gepflegten Anlage, mit allem, was das Herz begehrt. Klasse auch Pool und Whirlpool direkt vor dem Haus, sogar eine Barbecue-Station war im Poolbereich vorhanden (haben wir aber nicht genutzt). Wir haben uns sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt, für uns war es wirklich optimal! Würden wir jederzeit wieder buchen.

I first visited Maui in 1996 and fell in love with the island. Since then, my wife and I have been visiting every year! It holds a special significance for us since my wife also has family and many friends on Maui. We are excited to share with you our little piece of paradise and have you discover why they say 'Maui no ka oi' (Maui is the best) for yourself.

The minute we walked on to the property and then inside our condo, we knew that this was a place where our hearts could call home. The location, the beautiful grounds, the beach across the street were all just perfect for a relaxing retreat. Kihei is laid back and very 'local', yet has everything you need in close proximity.
